Back to CoolTo All Dreamers:

Every grower’s dream is to have sales 365 days a year. I have decided it needs to be more than a dream. I’ve made it an

initiative! This Seasonal Program Guide is one of Euro’s tactics to achieve that. Plants or plant uses that create opportunities

for cool weather growing and selling have been put into collections that are practical for the grower and inspiring for the

end user. This guide is the same idea as a fashion fall/winter catalog that you might receive from any number of catalog/mail

order companies.

Start these crops in early to late summer for fall sales, winter indoor plant sales, early spring sales, and over-wintering crops

for sales in the spring. For those cool but not freezing, mild winter states, I’ve put together collections that can be grown with

minimum protection for sales in the mild winter months.

Color sells anytime of year!

I’m introducing “Combinators”™, which are attractive foliage

plants that burst with vibrant leafy or grassy splendor when

grown cold and mixed with “Chilly Dippers”™…our color

palette of cool. We also have plenty of perennials that

highlight the beauty and brawn of the cool season as you

select from our extensive perennial collection. With Euro’s

superior light levels and endless bright sunny days, we can

grow the young plants for your cool season opportunities.

Let Euro make your 365 dream come true!

Within the expansive Sunny line-up you have the opportunity to create multiple collections to f it different cool seasons.

euroamerican offers you the choice of ordering Sunny’s as unrooted cuttings (UrC) or 84-cell rooted liners. all UrC orders will ship directly from the UrC supplier.

Growing for Cool ConsumersIt’s important to keep in mind that cool season crops should be timed, grown and finished slightly different than spring and summer crops in order to achieve successful sell-through and consumer satisfaction. Since cool season crops are sold during the time of year when temperatures are low and days are short, we as growers need to produce larger, fully established plants that are ready to thrive with the chill.

•Autumnaswinterfrostdrawsnear We recommend growing crops of six-inch to sell during the fall season of decorating and gifting. Select a seasonally attractive color palette and place your finished crop in deco containers to add appeal and value to retailers and consumers.

•Followingwinterasspringapproaches Bring on your four-inch crops to finish as the frosts fade. Grow the bright, vibrant colors that get retailers and gardeners excited to start planting. Sunny’s are the perfect crop to open the gateway to spring planting.
