What is 3M™ VentureClad ™?

VentureClad ™ is a self adhesive cladding system for pipe and ductwork services. It’s an alternative to traditional metal cladding P.I.B. rubber and roofing felts for both internal and external applications.

The system comprises of numerous layers of aluminium foil and polyester. The basic system is a 5/6 layer laminate whilst the industrial version has 13/14 layers and is reinforced.

Available in various colours and finishes. Salt and chemical resistant versions available.

It is, suitable for use on all insulation materials including Phenolic foam, P.I.R. Insulation, Mineral Fibre, Foamglas, Calcium silicate and Nitrile Rubber*Nitrile Rubber*Nitrile Rubber*Nitrile Rubber*

A product that offers a ten year weatherproofing warranty.

Why extra mechanical strength is sometimes required.

When using 3M™VentureClad™ always consider your local surroundings and decide if the optional use of extra mechanical strength is needed?

Extra mechanical strength is sometime required when ducting is at low level and liable to be walked on by other contractors or employees.

It is also sometimes required in areas of high bird population like towns and coastal areas.

The aluminium sheet is laid flat on top of the insulation material and secured with Tape and Angle.

The aluminium sheet gets totally encapsulated in the 3M™ VentureClad™ and is now protected from wildlife and foot traffic.
