An invitation is extended to all eligible figure skaters in good standing in the Metro West Area of Skate Canada – Central Ontario to participate in this competition.

This competition will be held in accordance with the rules of Skate Canada and special guidelines approved for these Area Competitions. Participants must be eligible persons as

defined in Section 2100 of the Skate Canada rulebook. Non-Skate Canada members must join the Association by paying the Skate Canada membership fee to the club where they skate.

Registration for Snowflake Skate is by on-line registration. Please refer to the on-line registration instructions at the back of the announcement.

Closing Date of Entries:

Access to online registration will cease at 11:59pm on November 25th, 2015. Registrations will be accepted on first come-first served basis with restrictions in certain categories to accommodate the scheduling of categories.

CANSKATE INDIVIDUAL ELEMENTS

In keeping with the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) plan of providing a platform for coaches to encourage and support athletes/participants at every level to fulfill their potential and remain involved in figure skating, this category is focused on the “Learning to Skate” stage.

This category is open to CanSkate members only. Skaters who are skating on STARSKate sessions and/or have passed any part of any Skate Canada test must enter one of the STAR categories.

All CanSkaters, up to and including Stage 5, must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet while on the ice. Skaters beyond Stage 5 who choose to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet during a competition will not be subjected

to any deduction in relation to the use of a CSA approved hockey helmet.

NEW: Coaches will be allowed on the ice in a designated area for this event. Coaches must be wearing skates to be on the ice in the designated practice area.

Description: Skaters will be divided into groups and perform the elements on a circuit. Skaters may NOT enter CanSkate Individual Elements category AND Freeskate category. Please refer to the CanSkate Technical Package posted on the Technical Page of the COS website: Stage 2 Skaters must have

passed the complete Stage 1 badge, but not the complete Stage 2 badge.

STARSKATE CATEGORIES

All Freeskate categories will be judged using the 2015 – 2016 Skate Canada – Central Ontario Well Balanced Program (WBP) technical package posted at www.skatecanada-centralontario.com. Deductions will be taken

for any elements outside of specifications in accordance with the Skate Canada Well Balanced Program requirements.

These categories are open to those skaters who do not meet the criteria for the Adult Classifications.

FREESKATE CATEGORIES

Skaters are only permitted to enter one Freeskate category. STAR 1 Element Assessment

May not have passed any part of the Senior Bronze Free Skating Test (Geared to those skaters who have not mastered more than three (3) single jumps). Elements scored to standard (Merit, Bronze, Silver or Gold); may be grouped by age. Please refer to the STAR Pre-Event Technical Package posted on the Skate Canada – Central Ontario Technical page.

STAR 2 Compulsory Assessment Program

May not have passed any part of the Senior Bronze Free Skating Test. (Geared to skaters who have no yet mastered more than five (5) different single jumps). Program Length: 2.00 minutes in length (+/- 10 seconds). Vocal music is not permitted.

STAR 3 Free Skating Program

May not have passed any part of the Senior Bronze Free Skating Test. (Geared to skaters who have not yet mastered double jumps.) Program Length: 2:00 minutes in length (+/- 10 seconds). Vocal music is not permitted. Skaters may be grouped by age.

STAR 5 will be scored using CPC and skaters will be ranked.

Senior Bronze May have passed the complete Senior Bronze Freeskate test but no higher STARSkate complete free skate test.

The following three (3) categories will only be offered at Skates Alive and Snowflake Skate. Skaters are eligible to enter both Area Competitions for these categories. Skaters must register through the on-line registration for Skates Alive and/or Snowflake Skate.

Junior Silver STARSkate

May have passed the complete Junior Silver Freeskate test but no higher complete free skate test. Program Length: 3:00 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). Please refer to the 2015 – 2016 Skate Canada – Central Ontario WBP requirements.

Senior Silver STARSkate

May have passed the complete Senior Silver Freeskate test but no higher complete free skate test. Program Length: 3:00 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). Please refer to the 2015 – 2016 Skate Canada – Central Ontario WBP requirements.

Gold STARSkate May have passed the complete Gold Freeskate test. Program length: Women – 3:00 or 3:30 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). Men – 3:30 or 4.00 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). Please refer to the 2015 – 2016 Skate Canada – Central Ontario WBP requirements.

FREESKATE INDIVIDUAL ELEMENTS

The following categories are open to those skaters who do not meet the criteria for the Adult Classifications: STAR 2 – 5, and Sr. Bronze.

Description: Skaters perform 4 required elements in isolation. No age restrictions. Skaters will be permitted one re-skate if necessary. The re-skated element will be marked. Skaters are only permitted to enter each category and each discipline once.

STAR 2 Elements Skaters MUST be competing at the STAR 2 level and no higher. Skaters may not

have passed any part of the Senior Bronze Free Skating test. • Loop Jump • Waltz/Toe Loop Combination • Back Upright Spin • Forward Spiral Sequence – Two (2) forward spirals, one on each foot,

performed on either an outside or inside edges. No more than 8 steps between. Both spirals must be unassisted.

STAR 3 Elements Skaters MUST be competing at the STAR 3 level and no higher. Skaters may not have passed any part of the Senior Bronze Free Skating test.

• Flip Jump • Loop/Loop Combination • Combination Spin - must include at least one camel and one sit position

and may include a change of foot. Forward entry only. No flying entry or difficult variations.

• Forward Spiral Sequence – Two (2) forward spirals, one on each foot, performed on either an outside or inside edges. No more than 4 steps between. Both spirals must be unassisted.

STAR 4 Elements

Skaters MUST be competing at the STAR 4 level and no higher. Skaters may not have passed any part of the Senior Bronze Free Skating test.

GROUP / TEAM ELEMENTS Description: Skaters perform 4 required elements in isolation. Open to groups of 2 to 4 skaters. In teams of four, each skater must perform one of the required elements. In teams of three, each skater must perform one of the required elements and one skater performs two elements. In teams of two, each skater will perform two elements. No age restrictions. Skaters will be permitted one re-skate per team if necessary. The re-skated element will be marked. In the event that a team of two skaters loses one member, the remaining skater must find another skater to join their team. A single skater will NOT be permitted to compete along in a Team category. Skaters are only permitted to enter each category and each discipline once. A skater cannot skater for two different teams within the same category and cannot skate on two different element teams at different levels. STAR 2 Elements Skaters MUST be competing at the STAR 2 level and no higher. Skaters may not

ICE DANCING (COUPLES) The following categories are open to those skaters who do not meet the criteria for the Adult Classifications:

Pre-Preliminary, Preliminary, and Jr. Bronze.

Description: Similar or mixed couples skate the prescribed dance. Groups will be divided into mixed and similar couples whenever possible. Test restrictions apply to both skaters.

MINI BATTLE of the BLADES

Both Skaters must be registered with Skate Canada for the current (2015-2016) skating season. Mini Battle Under 10 Couples consist of one male and one female. Both skaters must have reached at least the 7th birthday but not the 10th birthday by the preceding July 1st. One partner must have passed at least one part of a Skate Canada Preliminary Test (Preliminary Freeskate, Preliminary Dance or Preliminary Skills). The other partner must not have passed any part of a Skate Canada freeskate test. Hockey skates or figure skates may be worn. Couples skate a program to music of their choice. Vocals are permitted. Maximum program time 2:00 minutes. There is no minimum music length. Emphasis is on skating skills, pair field moves and unison. Small jumps and hops up to ½ rotation are permitted; spins and field moves such as spirals, shoot the ducks, pivot spirals, etc., are permitted. NO LIFTS of any type are allowed – couples attempting lifts will be disqualified. Programs will be marked on skating skills, unison, performance, creativity and interpretation. Each component will receive a mark out of 10. Mini Battle 10 and Over Couples consist of one male and one female. Both skaters must have reached at least the 10th birthday by the preceding July 1st. Description: Programs are to be choreographed according to the Skate Canada Interpretive Program requirements. Please see Appendix B. Vocal music is permitted.

Pre-Introductory Not passed any Interpretive tests. One Interpretive program maximum 2 minutes in length.

Introductory

Must have passed the Introductory Interpretive test but no higher. One Interpretive program maximum 2 minutes in length.

Bronze

Must have passed the Bronze Interpretive test but no higher. One Interpretive program maximum 3 minutes in length.

Silver Must have passed the Silver Interpretive test but no higher. One Interpretive program maximum 3 minutes in length.

Gold Must have passed the Gold Interpretive test. One Interpretive program maximum 3 minutes in length.

SHOWCASE

Showcase Categories The following categories are open to those skaters who do not meet the criteria for the Adult Classifications:

Pre-Preliminary and Preliminary

Skaters may enter either an Individual Showcase category OR an Individual Interpretive category but not both. Skaters in Group/Family Showcase categories may also enter an Individual Showcase OR an Individual Interpretive category. Categories will be divided by age whenever possible. Showcase and Production categories are intended to be entertaining and will be judged on their theatrical and artistic qualities. Emphasis is placed on the interpretation of the music. Costumes are permitted and props should enhance the theme of the program. Boas are not permitted. Description: A creative routine is skated which can employ elaborate costumes and props to illustrate a theme, tell a story, or interpret the music. Skater’s routines are intended to be entertaining and will be judged on their theatrical and artistic qualities and not on technical content (i.e. jumps). Skaters are to provide their own music. Vocal music is permitted. Any jumps performed will be valued the same regardless of their difficulty. No lifts are permitted. SKATE EXTREME

*NEW this year… Skate Extreme will be run as a Triathlon. Skaters will register and compete in all three (3) components – jump, spin and spiral.

Skate Extreme categories are open to all registered Skate Canada members. Skaters who are registered to compete in any Pre-Juvenile category or only in a dance or pair category may compete and must enter the

highest level for which they are qualified.

Medals to be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place – combined results.

Bronze The skater must not have passed the complete Preliminary Freeskate test. a) Bronze Jump: Greatest distance in a waltz jump, measured from the point

of take-off to the point of landing. b) Bronze Spin: Most revolutions in a back one-foot or corkscrew spin,

counted from the first revolution in the basic position. c) Bronze Spiral: Longest time in a moving unsupported spiral position.

Silver The skater must not have passed the complete Sr. Bronze Freeskate test. a) Silver Jump: Greatest distance in a flip jump, measured from the point of

take-off to the point of landing. b) Silver Spin: Most revolutions in a back one-foot spin, counted from the

first revolution in the basic position. c) Silver Spiral: Longest time in a moving unsupported spiral position.

Gold

Open to skaters who have passed the complete Sr. Bronze Freeskate test.

a) Gold Jump: Greatest distance in a single axel jump, measured from the point of take-off to the point of landing.

b) Gold Spin: Most revolutions in a sit spin, counted from the first revolution in the basic position. In the basic sit spin position, the thigh must be parallel to the ice.

c) Gold Spiral: Longest time in a moving unsupported spiral position.

SPECIAL NEEDS CATEGORIES

OPEN TO ALL AGES

GOLD RIBBON CATEGORIES Description: Open to skaters with a physical disability. Categories will be split into separate groups where appropriate. No age or test restrictions. Gold Ribbon Elements 4 elements in isolation. Skaters may do as many as they can.

Coach may be on the ice or by the boards and communicate with the skater between elements.

1. Forward skating across the ice. 2. Forward gliding on two feet. 3. Any stop. 4. Forward gliding on two feet, bending knees to grasp ankles.

Gold Ribbon Freeskate Skaters perform a free skating program to music (maximum 2.0 minutes).

Skaters must supply their own music. Costumes & Props are not allowed.

Gold Ribbon Solo Dance Skaters perform the prescribed dance individually. Dutch Waltz – two patterns to be skated.

Gold Ribbon Unified Dance One skater with special needs and one skater without special needs perform the prescribed dance as a couple. Couples may be mixed or similar. Canasta Tango – two patterns to be skated.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS CATEGORIES Description: Open to skaters with an intellectual disability. These categories are defined by Special Olympics/ Figure Skating. Categories will be split into separate events where appropriate. Please refer to the 2015 – 2016 Special Olympics/Figure Skating Technical Manual for further details. SPECIAL OLYMPICS FREESKATE Description: Skaters perform a free skating program to music. Skaters must supply their own music. Vocal music is not permitted. Costumes & Props are not allowed. Please refer to the Special Olympics/Figure Skating Manual for required elements and program content. LEVEL 1 Program Length: 1.0 minute (+/- 10 seconds). The program must include

elements from CanSkate Stages 1-3. No elements above CanSkate Stage 3 are to be included in the program.

LEVEL 2 Program Length: 1.0 – 1.5 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). The program must include

elements from CanSkate Stages 4-6. No elements above CanSkate Stage 6 are to be included in the program.

LEVEL 3 Program Length: 1.5 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). The program must include

elements from STAR 1. No elements above STAR 1 are to be included in the program.

LEVEL 4 Program Length: 1.5 – 2.0 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). No elements above STAR 2

are to be included in the program. LEVEL 5 Program Length: 1.5 – 2.0 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). No elements above STAR 3

are to be included in the program. LEVEL 6 Program Length: 2.0 – 2.5 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). No elements above STAR 5

are to be included in the program. OPEN Skaters must have passed the Senior Bronze Freeskate test or higher.

Program Length: 3.0 minutes (+/- 10 seconds).

SPECIAL OLYMPICS PAIRS Description: The pair team shall consist of 2 Special Olympics athletes, one male and one female. LEVEL 1 Program Length: 1.5 minutes (+/- 10 seconds). Instrumental music only. LEVEL 2 Program Length: 2.0 (+/- 10 seconds). LEVEL 3 Program Length: 2.5 (+/- 10 seconds). SPECIAL OLYMPICS SOLO DANCE Description: Individual skaters perform the prescribed dance(s). Music will be Skate Canada Series 8. INTRODUCTORY Skaters must not have passed any dances.

Please refer to the Special Olympics Tech package for elements to be skated. LEVEL 1 Skaters must not have passed the complete Preliminary Dance test.

Dutch Waltz & Baby Blues – Skaters will skate one (1) round of the ice surface of each dance.

LEVEL 2 Skaters must not have passed the complete Junior Bronze dance test.

Swing Dance & Willow Waltz – Skaters will skate one (1) round of the ice surface of each dance.

LEVEL 3 Skaters must not have passed the complete Senior Bronze dance test.

Ten Fox & European Waltz – Skaters will skate one (1) round of the ice surface of each dance.

LEVEL 4 Skaters must not have passed the complete Junior Silver dance test.

Rocker Foxtrot & American Waltz – Skaters will skate one (1) round of the ice surface of each dance.

LEVEL 5 Skaters must not have passed the complete Senior Silver dance test. Starlight & Killian – Skaters will skate one (1) round of the ice surface of each dance.

LEVEL 6 Skaters must have passed the complete Senior Silver Dance test. No restriction

to how many Gold dances passed. Argentine Tango & Quickstep – Skaters will skate one (1) round of the ice surface of each dance.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS DANCE COUPLES Description: Skaters perform the prescribed dance(s) as a couple. Couples may be mixed or similar. INTRODUCTORY Skaters must not have passed any dances.

The following three (3) categories will only be offered at Skates Alive and Snowflake Skate. Skaters are eligible to enter both Area Competitions for these categories. Skaters must register through the on-line registration for Skates Alive and/or Snowflake Skate.

The specifications for the creative skills categories are outlined in the 2015 – 2016 Skate Canada STARSkate Competition Technical Package under Triathlon. This package may be found on the Members Only section of the Skate Canada website at www.skatecanada.ca. (The CPC marking system will be used for all categories).

*Entrants must register to compete in the highest Triathlon level that their test qualifications qualify them for.

BRONZE CREATIVE SKILLS Specifications:

Must have passed at least two of the following tests: Junior Silver Freeskate test and/or Junior Silver Skating Skills test and/or Bronze Interpretive test. One Bronze Creative Skating Skills Program – Music 2.0 minutes maximum. Vocal music is permitted. See Well Balanced Program Requirements on the Skate Canada website.

SILVER CREATIVE SKILLS Specifications:

Must have passed at least two of the following tests: Senior Silver Freeskate test and/or Senior Silver Skating Skills test and/or Silver Interpretive test. One Silver Creative Skating Skills Program – Music 2.0 minutes maximum. Vocal music is permitted. See Well Balanced Program requirements on the Skate Canada website.

GOLD CREATIVE SKILLS Specifications:

Must have passed at least two of the following tests: Gold Freeskate test and/or Gold Skating Skills test and/or Gold Interpretive test. One Gold Creative Skating Skills Program – Music 2.0 minutes maximum. Vocal music is permitted. See Well Balanced Program requirements on the Skate Canada website.

ADULT CATEGORIES

Free Skating programs should meet the requirements as outlined in the Skate Canada Adult Competition Technical Package for 2015 – 2016. This package may be found in the Members Only login of the Skate Canada

Qualification For Entry – Skaters entering must be 19 years of age or older.

Adult Open Free Skating No test pre-requisites. Specifications for category: One free skating program to a maximum of 3 minutes, 40 seconds in length. Program time may be shorter. Adult Open Interpretive Specifications for category: One interpretive program maximum of 3:00 minutes in length. Adult Dance Composition of Partners: Dance events may be comprised of two women, one woman and one man, or two men. Note: Series 8 music will be used exclusively for the Dance event. Compulsory Dances will perform the number of dance sequences that are noted in the 2015 – 2016 Adult Skate Technical Package. Open Adult Dance Test: At least one partner must have passed the complete Preliminary Dance test, but not the complete Senior Bronze Dance test. Specifications for category: Fiesta Tango (2 sequences) & Willow Waltz (2 sequences). Adult Open Free Dance Specifications for category: One free dance of maximum 3 minutes, 10 seconds. Program may be shorter. Vocal music is permitted. Competitors must perform a well balanced program according to the requirements in the 2015 – 2016 Adult Skate Technical Package found on the Skate Canada Info Centre at https://info.skatecanada.ca/hc/en-ca. Adult Open Pair Composition of Partners: Pair events must be comprised of one women and one man. Specifications for category: One free skating program of maximum 3 minutes, 10 seconds. RULES AND REGULATIONS

REFUNDS: Refunds will be issued ONLY if the category is not held. ELIGIBILITY: Competitors who have competed in any part of the Juvenile, Pre-Novice, Novice, Junior or Senior events at the 2016 Skate Canada – Central Ontario Sectional Championships (November 2015) are NOT eligible to compete in the same discipline at an Area Competition. Skaters can only enter one category per discipline and can only enter a category once. For example, skaters may NOT enter team/couples dance categories twice with different partners. CATEGORY COMPETED AT SECTIONALS RESTRICTIONS FOR AREA COMPETITIONS Singles May NOT enter Freeskate or Element categories Dance May NOT enter solo/couples dance categories Pair No restrictions SINGLE ENTRIES: Categories with only one entry will be given the option of skating an exhibition or skating in a higher category if it is available. The decision is to be made by the Technical Representative based on availability of the ice time. Medals will be awarded for exhibition skates. ADDITIONAL ENTRY RESTRICTIONS:

• Skaters can enter only one category per discipline and only enter a category once. • Skaters may NOT enter CanSkate Elements Event AND a Freeskate category. • Skaters may NOT enter the same team/group/couples category twice with different partners/team. • Skaters may NOT enter Individual Showcase AND Individual Interpretive. • Skaters entered in a Group/Family Showcase MAY enter an Individual Interpretive OR Showcase

category but not both. • Skaters may enter couples dance and solo dance. • Skaters entered in any Ice Dancing categories (except Family Dance) MAY NOT enter CanSkate

Individual Elements. • Skaters may enter one level of individual elements and may enter a different level for team elements.

TEST AND AGE REQUIRMENTS: Test qualifications and age requirements are as of November 15, 2015. MALE ENTRIES: Two or more male entries in any category will skate in their own group, with the exception of the CanSkate Element event where the males will be grouped with the females. A single male has the option of skating with the females or skating an exhibition. SKATING UP: Skaters may compete in a category higher than they are qualified for; however, they may not then compete in the category for which they are qualified (i.e. for STAR 4 or 5 – may enter Sr. Bronze but not both). In ice dancing couples categories the couple must skate at the level of the partner with the higher qualifications. ADULT CLASSIFICATION: A skater is considered to be an Adult if he/she is 19 years of age or older.

MUSIC REGISTRATION: Music must be handed in at the time of registration. The arena will be equipped with a CD player. *Please specify CD.* Two CD’s for each category entered must be registered with officials at the registration desk at least one hour prior to the start of the competitor’s first category and may be picked up one half-hour after completion of the category. STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR MUSIC:

1. Only one program shall be recorded on each CD 2. The start of the music shall be recorded on the CD with less than two seconds of lead in. 3. Competitor’s name followed by category, program type and music time shall be shown on the CD label. 4. Each CD shall be enclosed in a plastic case.

COMMENCEMENT OF COMPETITION: The event schedule will be posted on the Skate Canada – Central Ontario website at: http://www.skatecanada-centralontario.com/2015-16%20eventsresults.htm. Competitors must register at least one hour before the scheduled time of their category. Categories may commence up to 15 minutes before their scheduled time. OFFICIALS: Judging panels will be assigned by the COS Technical Representative for the competition. Non Skate Canada judges may be used at the discretion of the Technical Representative. MARKING SYSTEM: The Cumulative Points System (CPC) and the Skate to Standard marking system will be used at this event. Special Olympic categories will be judged in the 6.0 marking system. AWARDS: Medals will be presented to skaters finishing first, second and third in each of the following categories: STAR 4, STAR 5 and higher, all Dance and Interpretive categories, Creative Skills (Bronze & up), Special Needs, Adult and Showcase categories, Skate Extreme. Ribbons and certificates will be presented to all participants in the following categories: CanSkate Element event, Individual Free Skate Elements, Team Elements, STAR 1 – 3 categories and Pre-Introductory & Introductory Interpretive. CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY: Competition schedule and entry list will be posted on the Skate Canada – Central Ontario website at: http://www.skatecanada-centralontario.com/2015-16%20eventsresults.htm as available. COACH ACCREDITATION: In order to be accredited at Snowflake Skate, coaches must hold the following NCCP Certification status:

• CanSkate Events – CanSkate “In-Training” or higher • All other Events – Primary STARSkate “Trained” or higher

Skate Canada coaches must have a valid Skate Canada photo ID and must bring the ID with them and present it at the Coaches’ Registration Desk. Up to two certified coaches per entry will be accredited. ONLINE COMPETITION REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

2016 SNOWFLAKE SKATE

In order to register for competitions utilizing the COS online competition registration system, please have the following information ready before proceeding: • Skater’s Skate Canada ten digit membership number (If you do not know your membership number please

CONTACT your home club.) • Email address associated with the skater’s record (If you do not know the email address on file, please CONTACT

your home club.) • Attending coach’s name and email address – if required by competition registration. • If entering a category with a partner, have the partner’s Skate Canada ten digit membership number, name and

e-mail address. • If entering an interpretive category, have the interpretive title. • If entering a team category, have the team name ready and for each skater on the team, have the Skate Canada

ten digit membership number and name. • Credit card information for payment processing. If you are an international skater and do not yet have a registration number assigned to you, contact the Skate Canada - Central Ontario office to obtain a temporary registration number and password. This only needs to be done for the first competition you are registering for and can be reused for subsequent competition registrations. REGISTER: • Go to the Skate Canada – Central Ontario Events page. • Click on the icon for the respective event. LOGIN: • Enter your Skate Canada ten digit membership number and your password (default is your last name). • Click “Log In” to proceed. SKATER INFORMATION: • Verify the mandatory fields for accuracy and complete any missing mandatory fields. • Once you have completed this check, click the check box for “Confirm Above Information is Correct!” • Click “Next” to continue. (You will not be able to proceed to registration without verifying the information.) COMPETITION SELECTION: • A list of all active competitions will be displayed, along with the closing date and time. • To select the competition you wish to register for, click the competition name. You will be taken to category

selection screen. NOTE: You can register for categories as long as the competition registration is open. You can log in and review your registration as often as you like, pay for category registrations, add additional registrations at any time prior to registration closing and make additional payments. You can also remove registrations (only if competition is still open), but if the registrations have been paid for, you must contact the REGISTRAR to receive a refund for the withdrawal.

CATEGORY SELECTION: • Only categories that you are eligible to enter will be displayed. If you are female, only female categories will be

displayed. Also age restricted categories will be displayed appropriately, depending on your age on the effective age date for the competition.

• If a category is FULL and no waiting list available, the category will display with a FULL status and you cannot register for the category.

• If a category is FULL and a waiting list is available, you can click on the category and you will be asked if you want to add your name to the waiting list (NO fee will be charged for waiting list entries). • Click “Go” to proceed to register for the category. • Attending Coach:

Enter the name and e-mail address of the attending coach. (You may list up to two attending coaches.) Click “Add to add the category to your registration list.

• Registering a pair/dance team:

Only one partner needs to register for a given category. Enter your partner’s Skate Canada ten digit membership number, name and e-mail address. Enter any attending coaches. Click “Add”. The partner’s number will be verified. If incorrect, an error message will be displayed.

• Submission:

Once you have entered the categories you wish to register for, click “Submit Registration” to proceed to payment processing.

WAIVERS CONFIRMATION: • Click on the waiver link to review the waiver. Once reviewed, click the check box for agreement of the waiver. • Once you have agreed (You cannot proceed without agreeing to the waiver.), click the “Submit” button to move

to payment processing. PAYMENT PROCESSING: • Only “PENDING” categories are listed for processing. All previous categories entries that have been paid are not

shown. • Confirm that the entry fee being charged is correct. • Complete the credit card information. • Verify the information. • Click the “Submit” button. ONLY CLICK ONCE. PAYMENT CONFIRMATION: • Once the payment has been processed a “Registration Payment Confirmation” screen will appear. • You may print this page for your records. • A confirmation e-mail has been sent to the e-mail address for the skater, to all attending coaches whose e-mail
