ABOUTThis two-day juried fine art and crafts show & sale is held on the grounds of Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State His-toric Park in Canandaigua, NY and is made possible only via the generous support of numerous sponsors and volunteers.
All proceeds from Arts at the Gardens directly benefits the on-going education and preservation efforts of Son-nenberg Gardens. It is the major annual fund-raising event for Sonnenberg and has provided over $300,000 since its inception.
While Sonnenberg operates in cooperation with the State of New York, it is supported entirely by the activities of its non-profit organization and events such as this one.

For more than 100 years, Canandaigua has been home to the estate known as Sonnenberg. The estate began as a summer home for philanthropists Frederick Ferris Thompson and his wife, Mary Clark Thompson. Today it is a 50-acre estate featuring a 40-room Victorian mansion, nine elegantly restored gardens, and an antique greenhouse complex. While Sonnenberg operates in cooperation with the State of New York, it is supported entirely by the activities of its non-profit organization. True to its educational mission, Sonnenberg features a wide range of public cultural, histori-cal, and horticultural-based events.
