We want to continue sharing using both traditional and creative means. We will continue or SoS (Sowing of Seeds) stranger evangelism and couple this with service evangelism. We want to reach to the dorm community through acts of kindness and volunteerism. Were praying that these will open opportunities for the Gospel.

2015 DCF Camp,Word of Life, Calauan, Laguna

Events Update

We thank God for the recently concluded DCF Camp. We wanted to challenge the participants to examine their hearts to see if there are false gods taking Gods throne there. At the same time, we wanted them to realize the urgency of reaching out to people who do not know Jesus yet. Please pray with us that they will truly have passion for God and compassion for people. The camp is only the beginning. May they continue burning for Jesus throughout the year.

We gathered DCFs leaders one Saturday to plan for the Sem ahead. We praise God for everyones availability. Please pray that we will be able to flesh out all the plans. Pray against ningas kugon and laziness.

Discovery Talks about God (TAG) resumes!

Weve started our weekly fellowship gathering with freshmen and sophomores. We thank God for the attendees and the volunteers. God has been providing for us such that we can now rent a venue at the coop canteen and have simple dinner after. Please pray as we challenge the students for greater leadership roles this sem. Please remember the upperclassmen fellowships as they struggle to re-start because of the busyness of members. May they never neglect meeting together for Jesus.

Events UpdatePasalubong FestivalFeb 7, 2015

We spent time with our Kalayaan Freshies during their Pasalubong Festival. As part of our support, we donated food to Region II and cheered the other regions during their cultural presentations.

We thank God because we were able to meet several of their friends. Please pray that the Lord will use these new connections as we seek to share Jesus to more Kalayaan Freshmen.

Discovery MeetingsTuesdays (Feb 17), 6-8pm

DCF partners with the Diliman Campus Bible Church in the Discovery Meetings. This is a series of evangelistic and apologetic talks that defend the truth claims of the Christian faith.

This year, were planning to hold the talks inside the dorms. Please pray for positive response from Molave dormers as we invite them to listen and interact with key topics from the DM.

Were tackling issues on pluralism, sexuality, gender, truth and materialism among others. May God use this venue to draw students to Himself.

PSHS Seniors Retreat and Recollection

Feb. 20-22, 2015

Kuya Pau and some DCFers will be helping with the Philippine Science High Schools seniors retreat this February. This is our last opportunity to disciple and evangelize them at Pisay. We are thankful that many of these students will continue in UP for college, so please pray that our retreat will truly prepare them to face the challenges of college.

Pray for strength for the team, as we iron out the plans, speakers, activities and other concerns for the camp. Ask the Lord to meet the students individually in powerful and life-changing ways.

2015 Missions Exposure Trip

May 31- June 6

Please pray for the initial preparations for this years Missions Exposure Trip. Kuya Caloy has determined that we can help a fledgling campus ministry in Pampanga in partnership with a Korean missionary.

Please pray for wisdom for all the preparations. Pray also for the financial needs of this event and the student missionaries who will be joining. May God alone be glorified in this event. Thank you!
