CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
Two profiles, no negative comments: 1) When can I download the app?2) I like it a lot, but perception might occur that
KBC knows I am around, even when I don’t want it
Great for campaigns and competitions!
SUCCESS
From static iBeaconsTo dynamic iBeacons
To ensure the app: - has added value at all times- is downloaded plenty- stays on the phone of the client
• Focus on specific type of branches with digiwise clients• Not all clients leave their Bluetooth on• Supported well by high-end range smartphones• Forget about mid- and low range devices• It might drain your phone’s battery life
Bluetooth
LowEnergy
• Tradeoff between hardware and price• Price depends on quality, battery lifetime, size, …
• Static beacons work great in the branches• Dynamic beacons however…
• Shout out didn’t work all the time (due to speed, water, cold, …)• Item finder works fine if you have a bit of time
Beacons
• App development and testing for Android • Many different types of operating systems and hardware
devices• Laborious and extremely difficult
• Internet (3G data) at mass events like HSP only works in urban areas (e.g. Diegem), not in rural zones (e.g. Zonhoven)
