Results of Parent Consultations Parent consultations provided support for the following:
Goal 1 - Provide information on effective interventions to parents and school staff;
Goal 1 – Team with Casa Alegre to provide information and education to community;
Goal 2 – Provide customized interventions to be used in classrooms with particular students;
Goal 4 – Assist parents in understanding transitional needs of their children with autism;
Goal 6 - Provide parents with information that helps them advocate more effectively for their children’s needs.

Goal 2 - Review procedures for referrals, recommendations & outcomes SWAT PROCEDURES
District screener distributed to SAT at each school
Autism screener included as part of SAT packets
SAT chair delivers completed screener to SWAT member or Special Ed office
SWAT reviews screeners at each monthly meeting
SWAT member meets with teacher to provide recommendations for implementation in classroom
Recommendations will include an Intervention Tracking Spreadsheet with timeline for documentation of implementation & results
Follow-up by SWAT member with classroom staff
