AUGUST2016
UPDATED
Welcome to another CAPERS catalogue. We have started 2016 with one significant change, and lots of event planning. Our new website* was launched in January. We are still making changes but I’m sure you’ll find it user-friendly. We’d love to have your feedback. (*The website address is still www.capersbookstore.com.au)
Planning is underway for The Passage to Motherhood 2017 Conference in Brisbane 9-12 May. Invited speakers include Dr Alison Barrett (NZ), Dr Christina Smillie (USA), Dr Sara Wickham (UK) and Dr Hannah Dahlen (Aus). There are 4 Pre-Conference workshops, one with Christina Smillie, who will also visit Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra before the Conference. Other workshops will be presented by Ginny Phang (Singapore), Rhea Dempsey (Aus) and Sara Wickham (UK).
In August 2017, Cathy Watson Genna will tour Australia – Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane – with a one-day update on Breastfeeding Skills.
See www.capersbookstore.com.au for more details and to register for all our events.
This year, for the first time in nearly 30 years, we are not distributing a printed copy of the catalogue. We are conscious of the environmental impact, and as more people want to receive less paper, we have placed the catalogue online only. You can print specific pages or the whole catalogue from the website. (However, it is still a small selection from the website.) We did mail event flyers, so if you didn’t receive these, please email the office so we can add you to the database.
Best wishes for a wonderful year ahead
