Georgia Southern University is the state’s largest and most comprehensive center of higher education south of Atlanta. With 124 degree programs at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels, Georgia Southern has been designated a Carnegie Doctoral-Research university and provides the classic residential campus experience and online learning options to more than 20,500 students from 48 states and 88 nations.

Our student-athletes are distinguished, our facilities are top-notch and our coaches are
some of the best in the nation.
For those of you renewing your Eagle Fund memberships and season tickets, or are
interested in other giving opportunities, please know that our students, facilities and
coaches excel because of donors like you. For that reason, I would like to thank you for
supporting the Georgia Southern Athletics Department and our student-athletes.
It is because of your unwavering True Blue spirit that our athletes succeed on the field,
the court, the track, in the pool, on the course and at the range. Our programs and
students have recently been featured on national media outlets such as ESPN, ESPN2,
ESPN3, ESPNU, FoxSports and YahooSports.
Not only are our student-athletes successful in their respective field, but they are also
successful in the classroom. All in all, they posted a semester GPA of 2.89 for Fall 2015,
which is the highest Fall semester GPA in the history of athletics at Georgia Southern.
Additionally, 222 student-athletes the made honor roll.
As a donor, alumni or fan of Georgia Southern University, you have a lot to be proud of.
This Fan Guide provides information regarding season, single and group tickets, as well
as giving opportunities with the Athletic Foundation.
There is no question that Georgia Southern has an exceptional athletics program. And

DEADLINES Season tickets must be renewed by the corresponding sport renewal deadline. Following the renewal deadline, non-renewed season tickets will be available to purchase by other Eagle Fund members.
Eagle Fund memberships and season tickets must be paid in full by renewal deadlines. Accounts with a balance will not receive their membership benefits or season tickets.
PAYMENT PLANS Monthly payment plans are available for both the Eagle Fund and Season Tickets.
Eagle Fund members and season ticket holders must sign up for a payment plan by the 15th of the month for the payment plan to begin the following month.

The Cost of ExcellenceLike any other student, student-athletes are required to pay tuition, room and board, and student fees. In addition, the Athletic Department must also provide strength and conditioning, sports medicine, health insurance and the cost of attendance1.
1. Per the NCAA, the Cost of Attendance refers to scholarships Division I college student-athletes are able to receive to help pay the full cost of attending college. The additional funds are intended to cover costs not covered by a full scholarship, which includes tuition, room and board, required fees and books. Subject to federal guidelines, financial aid officers at each school determine the cost of attendance.

The Georgia Southern University Athletic Department’s primary goal is to provide our student-athletes with the opportunity to compete for a championship ring and earn a college education while developing them as future leaders in their respective communities.
The Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation (GSUAF) currently supports over 386 student-athletes who play in one of the 17 Division I varsity programs. Contributions to the Foundation make it possible for Georgia Southern student-athletes to achieve their goals in competition, in the classroom and in life.
Most recently, our Men’s Golf won the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Championships and Football won the 2015 GoDaddy Bowl game.
Our student-athletes’ academics have been applauded by numerous organizations such as the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, Georgia Southern, Sun Belt Conference, Cleveland Golf/Srixon and the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Students are earning degrees across campus in biology, business, chemistry, child & family development, education, engineering, finance, fine art, geography, history, international trade, marketing, mathematics, modern languages, psychology and sports management.
Our Student-athletes have proven to be leaders as they participate in community service and mission trips, assist in youth clinics and have been recognized as All-American Athletes.

ATHLETIC FOUNDATIONThe mission of the Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation, Inc. (GSUAF) is to provide private financial support for athletic scholarships, facilities and staff enhancement for the Athletic Department of Georgia Southern University. All activities of the Athletic Foundation are conducted with the highest regard for academic and athletic excellence and within the guidelines established by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents, conference affiliations and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Why We need your Help Athletics is often referred to the front door to a University. It welcomes patrons with its accomplishments and national recognitions, serving as a tremendous recruiting tool and a catalyst for philanthropy to all areas of Georgia Southern University.

WAYS TO SUPPORT STUDENT-ATHLETESEagle Fund The Eagle Fund1, which is the main fundraising arm for the Athletic Foundation, is the annual scholarship fund for Georgia Southern Athletics. Contributions to the Eagle Fund support over 386 student-athletes who play in one of the 17 Division I varsity sport programs by providing academic scholarships.

Membership in the Eagle Fund is recognized by unrestricted annual gifts that are made between July 1 - June 30. All accounts must be paid in full by June 30 to receive upcoming Eagle Fund benefits. Contributions can be given at any level, but a minimum gift of $120 is required to activate an annual Eagle Fund membership and receive benefits including, but not limited to Priority Points.
Eagle Fund members are a vital component to the success of Georgia Southern student-athletes in the classroom and on the playing field.

NEW INITIATIVEYoung AlumniThe Athletic Foundation offers recent graduates who want to give back to the University and stay involved with Georgia Southern Athletics the opportunity to do so with the Young Alumni program.
To join the Young Alumni level of the Eagle Fund, an alumni must have graduated within the last four years.
Young Alumni contributors are eligible to join any Eagle Fund. However, they are required to donate the minimum Young Alumni donation requirement, which is half of that level. And with the Young Alumni status, alumni will receive all donor benefits associated with that giving level.
Interested alumni will be required to pay at least $60 for the first year of membership in order to meet the minimum donation level requirement, True Blue.
While the minimum donation is cut in half, Young Alumni members will obligated to pay full price for tickets and parking.
Like other Eagle Fund members, monthly payment plans are available.

NEW INITIATIVEChampion SocietyNew to the 2015-16 Eagle Fund, the Champion Society is a group comprised of members who support Georgia Southern University Athletics, Foundation and most importantly, student-athletes.
As a five-year commitment, members of the Champion Society have pledged a minimum of $10,000 annually to the Athletic Foundation’s annual fund. These major contributions greatly impact the program’s development by helping fund student-athlete scholarships.
As a part of the Champion Society, members receive an exclusive Champion Society gift, which is presented during a home Eagle sporting event.
Members of the Society also have access to the Champion Suite at home football games, along with two pregame sideline passes for each home football game.
EAGLE FUND HOSPITALITYThe Foundation hosts pregame events at home football (Bishop Pregame Social), basketball (6th Man Club) and baseball (Champion’s Pregame Social) games for fans who purchase season tickets to the respective sport and who also contribute at the Bronze Eagle level ($1,200+) or higher. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages are provided.
Event passes to the events are mailed out prior to each season. All ages are welcome, but attendees will be carded prior to entering event.

All gifts to the GSUAF are tax deductible as allowed by federal income tax law. Donors may decline any benefit by calling the GSUAF office and should consult their tax adviser.

Sport-Specific GivingSport-specific giving allows GSUAF members to make gifts that are designated to a particular program(s) of their choice. This method of contribution assures that your gift is used to directly to fund the sport of your choosing and cover identified needs specific to the program. Sport-specific contributions are above and beyond your annual fund/season ticket priority gift and do not count towards your annual giving level. Contributions to individual sports accelerate each sport’s pursuit of winning championships as well as give our student-athletes a leg up in the classroom. Through sport-specific gifts, donors can ensure that the true intent of their gift is being realized by student-athletes in the sport(s) of their choice.

EndowmentsWhether it be educational or operational, endowments represent the future of Georgia Southern Athletics. As an endowment grows, so does the impact of the gift. An endowed fund is a self-sustaining source of funding to support the purposes specified by the donor. Endowed funds can be designated to student-athlete scholarships, sport-specific, or the Coaches Continuity Fund.
TYPES OF ENDOWMENTS INCLUDE:• Student-Athlete Scholarships• Sport-Position Specific Scholarships• Sport Specific Operating Funds• Coach’s Continuity Fund
The primary goal of the Student-Athlete Scholarship Endowment Program is to fully fund all 231 athletic scholarships through the ongoing establishment of Athletic Endowments. To fully fund all 231 scholarships each year, the principal balance of the Athletic Endowment Fund would need to be $117 million.
Each contribution to a current and/or newly created endowment brings Georgia Southern Athletics that much closer to fully funding all 231 scholarships, further enabling Georgia Southern Athletics to utilize unrestricted dollars generated by the Annual Fund/Season Ticket priority program for other essential needs across all varsity sports.

NEW INITIATIVE Coach’s Continuity FundThe Coach’s Continuity Fund helps retain coaches. It can be used to help supplement a coach’s salary, as well as to reward our coaches with bonuses based on what their team does on the field and in the classroom.
For example, a coach can receive a bonus for the number of wins during their season, participation at conference championships and post-season games, conference and national coaching awards and/or their student-athlete's Academic Progress Report (APR).

Success is possible only if our alumni and fans provide the necessary funding. It’s a great feeling to know we played a part in helping our teams win championships and seeing our athletes become successful citizens. I hope all our fans will take ownership of the program and enjoy the rewards.

Capital ProjectsCapital Projects campaigns are designed to provide our student-athletes with the best facilities and performance equipment needed to train and compete in the Sun Belt Conference. These projects raise the standard for Georgia Southern Athletics and give our coaches and staff the best opportunity to maximize the abilities of our student-athletes. These projects are the cornerstone for recruiting top tier student-athletes by showcasing the best of what Georgia Southern can offer, and showcasing our commitment to the success of Georgia Southern Athletics.

Transition 20The 1980’s had The Dirty Dozen. We have the Transition 20 - a group of visionaries who help fund the future. This elite group of individuals, companies and organizations has led Eagle Nation to help fund the transition to the FBS football era by assist in the costs associated with the transition from FCS to FBS with a $100,000 commitment over a five year period.

NEW INITIATIVE
Give 110% Our Eagle student-athletes give 110% in competition, in the classroom, and in the community. We hope that you will join them by adding an extra 10% to your annual athletic donation.
Your gift will directly impact all of Georgia Southern’s student-athletes and athletic department that work to win championships and bring recognition to our University and our state.
While the Eagle Fund directly benefits student-athlete scholarships, members who choose to give 110% have the option to select what their extra 10% benefits:

Being a student-athlete greatly impacted my life. It has taught me how to treat my body right and maintain an active lifestyle even after my playing career was over. I was able to earn a degree through an athletic scholarship and study Supply Chain/Logistics and Intermodal Transportation. Being able to tie my athletic capabilities and education together propelled me into my current job - a supply chain operations consultant for Nike. Being part of and a captain of a collegiate team set my resume apart and gave my employer the confidence for me to lead the supply chain management in one of our distribution centers. Without Georgia Southern and the athletics program I would not have been able to secure this position which put me in a secure financial position just two weeks after graduation.

NEW INITIATIVE REFER•AN•EAGLEHelp convert the Nation into Eagle Nation and receive priority points. Refer-an-Eagle is an incentive program that allows current Eagle Fund members to recruit new members and receive rewards based on their efforts.
When a referred Eagle Fund prospect converts their status to ‘member’ by making a pledge to the annual fund, the sponsoring member will receive half of the priority point value of the donor level their referral committed to.
PR IZE S Prizes will be given to sponsoring Eagle Fund members based on the total value of their referral’s commitments.
PRIZE DRAWINGS Current members will receive one entry per referral and each new member will receive one entry in to a prize drawing. Prizes include:

FAQS1. Who is eligible to participate in the Refer-an-Eagle
campaign? Any current GSUAF member who has submitted a pledge can participate in Refer-an-Eagle campaign.
2. How do I refer someone? A new member must fill out the new member form. The sponsoring member’s name must be provided at sign-up or the credit will not be applied to the referring sponsoring member’s account.
3. Is there a limit to the number of referrals I can make? There is no limit on the amount of referrals a donor can earn during this campaign.
4. When does Refer-an-Eagle campaign end? Refer-an-Eagle ends on August 31, 2016 annually. Prizes will be awarded September 1, 2016.
5. The person I am referring did not donate to the GSUAF this fiscal year but was formerly a GSUAF member. Am I still eligible to receive the credit and be entered into the drawing? Yes. A GSUAF member can participate in this program if the referred individual is currently not a GSUAF member.
6. I was not a GSUAF member this fiscal year but am going to join. Can I participate? Yes. New GSUAF members, even those recruited through Refer-an-Eagle, can earn priority points and entries into the drawing based on additional new members they recruit. However, you must be a pledged, paying member prior to referrals.
7. I persuaded a current GSUAF member to renew or upgrade their donation. Am I eligible for the soft credit or prizes? The referred member must be a new donor to the GSUAF. Renewals and upgrades are not eligible.

Priority points provide an equitable method of allocating Athletic Foundation benefits that exist in limited quantities. The priority point system’s purpose is to offer fair access to high-demand and low-supply benefits for our faithful Eagle supporters.
Priority points are rewarded base on• ticket points;• giving points;• lifetime points; and• service points.
Priority points impact benefits such as:• away game football tickets;• bowl game tickets;• season ticket upgrades;• premium seating and suite options/waiting list placement;• tickets to conference or NCAA championships and tournaments; and• athletics’ special events.
HOW IT WORKSAthletic Foundation priority points are not ‘cashed’ or ‘spent.’ They continue to accrue as you make additional donations to the Athletic Foundation and purchase or renew season tickets. The system rewards donors for their ongoing commitment to Georgia Southern Athletics. The higher communicative points, means improved access to exclusive items and events. Priority points are automatically updated in our database each time you purchase a season ticket or make a donation to the Athletic Foundation. N OTE• The Priority Points system recognizes only

MONTHLY GIVING The GSUAF’s monthly contribution deduction program is an easy, and efficient way to make your contribution. This program allows you to split your annual donation into smaller payments while achieving the level of giving you desire. Within this program, you can expect charges to occur approximately the 15th of each month. A minimum monthly contribution of $50 is required.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION Georgia Southern University faculty and staff members are able to enroll in a payroll deduction plan.

SECURITIESDonors have the ability to make a charitable gift through an electronic transfer of stock or via the actual stock certificate.
MATCHING GIFTS Many GSUAF donors or their spouses are employed by companies that will match cash gifts to charitable organizations. Please check with the HR Department of your company to see if corporate matching is one of your benefits. To obtain a matching grant, please follow the procedures outlined by your company when making your request. All matching funds are credited to the donor’s account, and receive the same GSUAF point credit as if the funds came directly from the donor. Any money you donate to the GSUAF can be requested for matching, and we generally will apply the match to wherever the original donation was made.
BEQUESTS Gifts through wills and bequests can provide donors with the opportunity to sustain your family name in conjunction with GSU’s intercollegiate athletics program. The GSUAF can provide you with the necessary language to ensure that your intentions are clearly expressed.
GIFT-IN-KIND Gifts of goods or services can be of great financial assistance to the Georgia Southern Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, while offering the donor a tax-deduction for the value of the gift. Gifts-in-kind are accepted on a limited basis, and must be pre-approved by the GSUAF Gift-in-kind committee and submitted to the GSUAF Foundation for gift recognition. Gifts-in-kind are awarded priority points at 50% of the cash value of the goods or services that are donated. Please consult your tax advisor and the Georgia Southern University Athletics Foundation office for further information.

Georgia Southern challenged me since I first stepped foot on campus. This challenge included performing on and off the court with confidence, dignity, humbleness and gratitude. Since its humble beginnings as First District A&M School in 1906, the school has established a wide range of traditions that serve to distinguish it from its peers and deepen the bond with Eagle Nation as each year passes. Eagle Nation is built on these bonds, soaring on the cheers of students, alumni and loyal fans who shout “Georgia…” and know with confidence the answer they’ll receive.
Georgia… Southern….You know you’re in Eagle Nation when you enter an athletics complex and the ever famous “Georgia….” fills your ears. If you’re a true Eagle fan, you’ll immediately respond “Southern!” Georgia Southern alumni and fans are all too familiar with this Eagle “shout out.” During home games, you can find fans jumping to their feet and shouting this chant to remind rivals of their location: Georgia. Southern. Whether you run into a fellow alum in the airport, see a classmate at a restaurant in Atlanta or are cheering on your Eagles, “Georgia …” — “Southern…” are the only two words you need to know.
GusWherever the Eagles are playing, you won’t find GUS too far away! An ESPN “favorite mascot” nominee, GUS is best known for his sideline antics at sporting events. He is Georgia Southern’s lovable, feather filled mascot. GUS is no ordinary eagle. He’s visited the Georgia Capitol, posed with business leaders, political leaders, and other dignitaries, and even served as an ambassador for the University!
Whose House? OUR HOUSE!You’ve heard it before at sporting games: “Whose house? Our house!” One of the classic chants in all of the college sports had its start at the “prettiest little stadium in America!” From the hardwood in Hanner Fieldhouse, to the turf on Paulson Stadium, the defining cheer, led by the student section, reminds opponents of the home-field advantage.
The EaglesIn 1959, Georgia Southern University officially became the “Eagles” by a campus vote. In true Georgia Southern fashion, the university decided to go big and house not one, but two American Bald Eagles on campus. The eagles – Freedom and Glory – live in Georgia Southern’s Center for Wildlife Education and the Lamar Q Ball, Jr. Raptor Center.
FREEDOM’S FLIGHTBefore each home football game you can count on Freedom the Eagle flying high. Freedom’s Flight is one of Southern’s most popular traditions. “Freedom,” our living mascot, takes flight before each home football game and University commencements. The football game officially starts after Freedom launches from high above the field and lands at the endzone to the roar of thousands of Eagle Nation fans!

Erskine “Erk” Russell, a master motivator, brought football back to life at Georgia Southern University in 1981. To get players riled up before the game, Coach Erk Russell would often head butt his players, bare head to helmet. The act was so intense, he’d usually draw blood in exchange. In 2007 when the Eagle Players Association and Statesboro community leaders commissioned a bronze bust in honor of Erk’s tradition, the group did not know that a new tradition would be born. Today, as Eagles take the field, each player head butts the bust to honor Russell’s legacy.
YELLOW SCHOOL BUSESBack in 1981, the athletics program wasn’t exactly where it is today in terms of funds. When the football program was resurrected, Coach Erk Russell had a hard time figuring out how the program’s shoestring budget would cover travel to practices and games. Luckily, the Bulloch County Board of Education was willing to strike a deal the University couldn’t refuse: Georgia Southern would only pay one dollar each for two yellow school buses. Today, you can catch these buses rolling through the streets of Statesboro on game day as fans honk and cheer at the players inside.
ONE MORE TIMEIn 1986, our Eagles won their second straight national championship. The phrase Erk Russell uttered after this championship stuck to Georgia Southern and was used to amp up the players when the game was on the line.
“Hey ladies, hey fellas, hey gentlemen, one more time for the greatest team in America!” -Erk Russell.
BEAUTIFUL EAGLE CREEK When Georgia Southern resurrected the football program in 1981, traditions and spirit needed resurrection as well. Legendary Head Football Coach Erk Russell created his own, but inspiration came to him in the most unusual of places. Inspired by the gnat-infested drainage ditch that cut across the field between the team’s locker room and practice fields, Russell convinced his players that its stagnant water was actually “Beautiful Eagle Creek,” a source of “magical” waters. Coach would even bring the water to away games and sprinkle it on the field pregame.
GATACoined by Coach Russell, G.A.T.A means to ‘Get After Their Asses.’ However, for the sake of the children, ‘Get After Them Aggressively’ is also acceptable.

AdmissionGeorgia Southern University Athletics charges admission for football, baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball. Single tickets, season tickets/passes, youth tickets and group rates are available. Admission for all other of Georgia Southern 17 Division I varsity sports is FREE!
All season ticket purchases are applied to the Athletic Foundation’s priority points and benefits structure.

ticket or proper credential to enter athletic events.• Youth tickets are available for ages 4 - 12 and can be purchased on game day at the ticket

Sun Belt ConferenceFormed in 1976 the Sun Belt Conference quickly rose to the greatest heights of collegiate athletics and the league continues to find itself at the pinnacle of competition as a member of the 10-league alliance of Bowl Championship Series and College Football Playoff.
Because of its status as a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision, the Sun Belt Conference has a permanent seat on the NCAA’s 18-member Board of Directors. As a result, the conference has a crucial voice on some of the most pressing issues in college athletics and will always have a role in the implementation of any future NCAA legislation and guidelines.
CODE OF SPECTATOR CONDUCTIt is a principle of the Sun Belt Conference that student-athletes, coaches, athletics, administrators, support groups and all others associated with intercollegiate athletics adhere to such fundamental values as respect, fairness, civility, honesty and accountability.

WINGSA ticket is more than just admission to a game – to others it’s a thank you or a way to build lifelong memories, reduce stress, inspire dreams and strengthen family relationships.
Through the Wings program, Eagle fans, individuals and businesses alike, can now give back to the community by donating season tickets to be redistributed to veterans, underserved youth and charitable organizations.
Eagle fans can donate tickets one of three ways:• Purchase season tickets strictly for donation;• purchase single game tickets; or • donate unused tickets for upcoming games.
Since the program started in fall 2015, Eagle Nation supported the athletics program and community members by donating nearly 500 tickets. Half of those tickets were to the GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile, Alabama and were donated to the brave men and women in the 81st Force Support Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base in Mobile.

SUITESGeorgia Southern University Athletic Foundation offers luxury suites at home football and baseball games.
Information regarding football suites can be found on the following page while baseball suite information can be found on page 36.
• Georgia Southern University is not responsible for personal items that are stored in the suites.
• Suite credentials will be scanned at the gate. No “pass out” or “pass back in” admissions or checks will be given.
• Suite credentials must be presented to enter the luxury suite and must be worn at all times.
• For any guest who may leave the suite for any reason, their suite credential will be required for re-admission to the suite.
• Must be 21+ to drink. Please drink responsibly and designate a driver.
• Alcoholic beverages are allowed only inside the Luxury Suite. Alcohol is strictly prohibited outside of the Luxury Suites onto the concourse or into the stands.

Suites at Allen E. Paulson Stadium Luxury Suites at Allen E. Paulson Stadium provide Eagle fans with the ultimate game-day experience with 17 spacious suites to choose from.
Eagle Fund members who are a Silver Eagle ($3,000+) or higher are eligible to purchase a suite or be placed on the waiting list.
Purchase of a Luxury Suite gives you access to all home Eagle Football games and includes your game tickets as well as complementary parking passes in the Gold Lot.
Suite holders get football season ticket priority points based on their luxury suite, but do not receive priority points on the total cost of the luxury suite. The cost of the suite is also not valid for a tax deduction.
On game day, suites open 1.5 hours before kick-off, same as when the gates open.
DETAILS• Suites may be stocked with beverages only from
1:00-4:00 p.m. on the day before the game. For example, for a Thursday evening game, you may stock your suite with beverages from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. For a Saturday game, you may stock your suite with beverages from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. No suite may be stocked on the day of the game.
• Vehicles will be allowed on the stadium concourse only during stocking times. No vehicles will be allowed on the concourse on the day of the game.

Parking Parking is available at on-campus at the Fielding D. Russell Union, Performing Arts Center (PAC) and the Ceramic & Sculpture Building. On Saturday games these lots will open at 8 a.m. and are first come, first served.
RESERVED PARKINGEagle Fund donors are eligible to purchase a reserved parking spot for football games at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
Parking fees cover entire football season. All donor parking spots are reserved spots, are numbered and assigned to individual donors and are allocated using priority points.
Bronze Eagles ($1,200-$2,999) and above are able to purchase additional parking. The cost of each additional parking pass is the minimum donation level required for the desired lot plus the required parking fee amount.
For example, 2 yellow lot parking spots would require a total donation of $1,800 ($1,200 initial requirement + $600 yellow lot donation on additional spot = $1,800).
RESERVED ADA Donor parking includes an option for ADA spaces. A state-issued ADA hang-tag must be registered with the Athletic Foundation. ADA parking for non-donors is available on campus.
TRANSPORTATIONGame day shuttles, all of which are handicap accessible, begin running 2.5 hours prior to kickoff and stop running an hour after the conclusion of the game.

The Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation (GSUAF) is the fundraising arm of Georgia Southern Athletics. The mission of the GSUAF is to provide private financial support for athletic scholarships, facilities and staff enhancement for the Athletic Department of Georgia Southern University.
Why is the Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation important? Private support is essential to the success of Georgia Southern’s intercollegiate athletic program. Georgia Southern currently has over 386 student-athletes in 17 varsity sports representing the university academically and athletically. For 100% tax deductibility of your annual gift, you must decline your rights to receive benefits at the time you make your gift. Major gifts or contributions not associated with ticket priority are 100% tax deductible. Only the individual or company making the gift is eligible to receive the tax deduction. GSUAF donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
Does the GSUAF have a matching gift program? Yes. Many GSUAF donors or their spouses are employed by companies that will match cash gifts to charitable organizations. Please check with the HR Department of your company to see if corporate matching is one of your benefits. To obtain a matching grant, please follow the procedures outlined by your company when making your request. All matching funds are credited to the donor’s account, and receive the same GSUAF point credit as if the funds came directly from the donor. Any money you donate to the GSUAF can be requested for matching, and we generally will apply the match to wherever the original donation was made.
What is the Priority Points Program? Priority points provide an equitable method of allocating Athletic Foundation Benefits that exist in limited quantities. The benefits of supporting athletics through the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation will be fairly distributed among donors based on: amount of gifts, length of membership, number of season tickets purchased and other factors. The priority point system’s purpose is to offer fair access to high-demand and low-supply benefits for our faithful Eagle supporters.

Your minimum donation requirement is determined by location of your season tickets and parking and will reflect the greater donation requirement. For example, if you have a parking spot in the Blue Lot ($1,200 Level) and seats in Section D ($600 Level) your required donation would be $1,200.
How many Season Tickets does my Eagle Fund donation allow me to purchase? Your initial donation allows you the opportunity to purchase up to four season tickets. Each additional ticket after four would require a prorated donation. The prorated donation requirement is to make seat purchases a fair/equitable process for all of our donors/fans. Each prorated donation amount is one-fourth of the minimum donation requirement for each section.

What is the age limit for my child to get in free? Children 3 and under are admitted free of charge, provided they sit on your lap. Children 4 years of age and over require a ticket to the game.
Youth Tickets Youth tickets are available only on game day and the child(ren) be present in order to purchase the ticket. Youth tickets are for general admission sections only. Children ages 4 - 12 are eligible for youth tickets.
For football only, you tickets gives children access to the Field of Dreams inside of Allen E. Paulson Stadium. These tickets can only be purchased the day of the game (these tickets do not get your child a seat in the stadium).
What are accessibility options for guests with disabilities? In accordance with federal ADA requirements, easy access and wheelchair seating options are available on both a season and single game basis by request.
What time do doors/gates open? Ticket windows and gates open depending on the sport. Find the exact times on page 22.
I can’t find my tickets, what do I do? Customers who have purchased tickets through the ticket office may call (800) GSU-WINS to request a reprint of their tickets. Only the primary account holder may request their tickets to be reprinted.
What kinds of payment do you accept? The ticket office accepts cash, check (season tickets only), Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express.
May I return tickets purchased from the Georgia Southern Athletic Ticket Office? All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. Georgia Southern University reserves the right to change game times, dates or locations with no refunds.
What are the operating hours for the Georgia Southern Athletic Ticket Office? We are open from Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. On game day for football, the main ticket office in the Cowart Building and the ticket office at Paulson Stadium opens three hours before the start of the game. On game day for men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball, the ticket windows at Hanner Fieldhouse open one hour prior to tipoff. On game day for baseball, the ticket windows at J. I. Clements Stadium open two hours prior to the first pitch.

What is the policy of allocating and limit on away game tickets? The process of allocating tickets is based on your priority points. The quantity of tickets you are eligible to purchase is based on your annual giving level. The availability and location of the tickets is determined by the opposing school.
