On behalf of the Georgia Companion Animal Partnership (GCAP), we cordially invite all shelter staff and volunteers, rescue group members, animal care and control agencies, as well as the general public to our inaugural ANIMAL WELFARE CONFERENCE, being held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the beautiful Conference Center located on the campus of Middle Georgia State University in Macon. This exciting event is brought to you through the generous support of our sponsors as well as the founding members of GCAP and features a full day of sessions to choose from! There is truly “something for everyone,” and we encourage you to bring your friends and co-workers to learn more about the world of animal welfare and how we can collectively do more for the animals in our communities and across the region.

The conference is being held in the Professional Sciences Building Conference Center on the campus of Middle Georgia State University at 100 University Parkway in Macon, GA.

From the North: Take I-75 S to I-475 S (follow signs to Bypass to I-75 South/Valdosta). Take Exit 3 for Macon/Roberta. Turn right onto GA-22/W US-80 (Eisenhower Parkway). Turn right onto Raley Road and then right again onto University Parkway.
