When speaking on secondary pests and diseases, keep it short as not all are affected by them. I really like the agenda style approach the last few years. It allows for more topics to be covered succinctly.

I have been following the Pest Bulletin, with Krista Hamilton DATCP for years and like it, however we now have Wisconsin Fruit News. I like it equally as well and think the two should be merged so that we can see all of this information in one place, like in the New York Scaffolds. I would like to see recommendations for when to spray at one location, perhaps Madison, for different insects based on degree day models; Scaffolds could be looked at for examples.

An early season call on how to prep for planting I appreciate the effort to solicit questions from organic growers during the season. I do feel that some of the topics are not relevant or barely relevant to organic growers. I did appreciate session with Matt Greishop and at least modest attention to CAR in spring.

Would like to see this count toward applicators license education credits.

Should be able to access call recordings with smartphone. Flashplayer doesn't work with modern tech - very outdated.

I used the Mancozeb/Captan spray combination that I learned about from Apple Talk for the first time this year, and now have no scab. I am bringing my orchard back into production after 12 years of dormancy and have had scab every year until I started listening to Apple Talk. Also, I have no insect damage this year thanks to Apple Talk. Coddling moth has been a particular issue for me.

I felt this year was perhaps the best year so far for the conference call in part because of Peter's moderating, and in depth participation along with John's knowledge and timely sharing of situations around the state. I also was very glad for the very thorough summaries of the talks which were emailed.

Keep up the good work! This is one of the best tools in my orchard management portfolio.

AppleTalk is such a valuable resource. Wish all WI apple growers had access to the information provided.

I enjoyed knowing where other growers were in their growing season. (DD, tight cluster, pink, etc.). Your discussion about the use of Promolin was especially interesting.

Appreciate the greater attention given to softer chemicals and non-chemical (organic or synthetic) solutions this year. Please keep it up!

The printed call summaries are great. They are more valuable than listening. I save them for reference!

You all do a very good job. Appletalk is my best resource for IPM and pest control.
