Welcome

We welcome you as a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (“HPE”) authorized Partner Ready Certification and Learning Learning Partner (or “PRLP”). This program guide establishes the entire Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company Partner Ready Certification and Learning Partner Program Guide (“Guide”). The Guide provides information on many of the key elements of our Learning Partner Program including our HPE Certified Instructor Program which helps promote high quality instructors, our Derivative Works process which helps you meet unique student needs, our Remote Lab capabilities and fees, and an overview of the flexible ordering options available through HPE Press.

As a valued member of the HPE PRLP community we will be working with you to provide a world class learning experience to your students. The information provided in your PRLP Contract and this Guide outline the criteria you are required to meet to participate in the Program. We may change the Guide from time to time and will notify you when we make changes to the program.

Note: This is the current version of the Operations Guide as of the date Effective Date of Your Agreement. These terms are subject to change in accordance with section 19 of the Agreement.

Definitions

All defined terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings given in the Partner Ready Certification and Learning Learning Partner Agreement

A. “Certified Instructors” means instructors who have met the requirements described in this Guide

B. “Certified Instructor Connection (CIC)”—The Web portal located in mylearninghpe.com used by HPE Certified Instructors to obtain the latest Partner Ready Certification and Learning program information, participate in forum discussions, and download instructor delivery materials. Instructors can access the Certified Instructor Connection with a valid user ID and password.

C. “Delivery Readiness Documents (DRDs)”—Documents for each course, which include launch date, description of the course, course outline and agenda, delivery requirements, equipment requirements, train-the-trainer details, and other valuable information. Instructors should review the DRDs for each course they plan to teach. DRDs are available on hpepress.hpe.com. .

D. “Developed Country” means the countries designated as “Developed” in the list provided in this Guide.

E. “Derivative Works” means any courses (ILT, e-learning, and labs) or other self-paced learning products (smart phone apps, workbooks, CDs, DVDs, or the like) that You create based on exposure to HPE Courseware.

F. “Emerging Country” means the countries designated as “Emerging” in the list provided in this Guide.

G. “HPE Press”—Site that instructors use to access HPE materials and learning partners use to order courseware and access course assessment materials. The url for HPE Press is hpepress.hpe.com.

H. “Learning Partner Connection” The Web portal located in mylearninghpe.com for use by You and Your instructors to obtain the latest Partner Ready Certification and Learning Program information, download marketing materials, and other such materials and information. You can access the Learning Partner Connection with a valid user id and password.

I. “Participant Centered Learning (PCL)”—The HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning implementation of adult learning techniques sometimes called “participant-centered learning” or “active learning.” The PCL initiative emphasizes interactive discussions and exercises that enable learners to explore ways to apply HPE solutions and technologies to their business and job challenges.

J. “Private Course” means a Partner Ready Certification and Learning course you deliver that does not appear in the Public Schedule.

K. "Products" means HPE learning products including but not limited to Certification and Courseware.

L. “Public Schedule” means the calendar of courses that are viewable to prospective students on HPE.com and the Partner Portal. The Public Schedule and the systems it resides on are managed by HPE.

M. “Remote Lab” means a computer lab that is set up in such a way as to be accessed from a location remote from where the lab is physically located. A Remote Lab may be designated as being either an HPE Remote Lab or a PRLP Remote Lab.

N. “Services” means any service provided to the PRLP by HPE, including, but not limited to, the HPE Remote Lab.

O. “Training Facilities” means the physical facilities a PRLP uses to deliver instructor-led training to Students.

Sales and Marketing

A. Marketing. To drive enrollments in your offerings, you will market the Partner Ready Certification and Learning Program and offerings to your installed customer base via your own sales and marketing plans, and communication vehicles. HPE will market and promote the value of training, skills and knowledge internally, to HPE channel partners, and to prospective Students. GPE has developed a marketing material library of content for you to use in your sales and marketing programs/ campaigns. You may change or repurpose these marketing materials for use in your sales and marketing efforts.

B. Sales. To help drive students to your offerings, HPE expects you to have at least one (1) full time-equivalent sales representative dedicated to selling the Partner Ready Certification and Learning Program and offerings.

Training Services

A. HPE will be responsible for authorizing and entering classes in the Public Schedule. If you agree to deliver a class and it is entered in to the Public Schedule, the class must be guaranteed to run. You are responsible for Student bookings and student cancellations, registrations of class locations and Training Facilities, for each Student and the invoicing of course fees and other similar administrative activities associated with the delivery of Partner Ready Certification and Learning Courses. You will provide a list of students enrolled in each class You have agreed to deliver to HPE three (3) days after the class starts and HPE will enter the student enrollment information into HPE’s learning management system (“SABA”). You will assign a certified instructor to the class at least 14 days before the start of the class, and provide HPE the name and learner ID of the instructor. HPE will assign the instructor to the class in SABA no later than two (2) days before the class starts.

B. HPE has exclusive, final authority over which courses are entered on the Public Schedule.

C. You are responsible for all communication to the registered Student (learner) in regards to class logistics, prerequisite learning requirements, class participation confirmation, class venue directions, hotel information, etc. You will communicate the Partner Ready Certification and Learning Course prerequisites, if applicable, including course number, registration details and direct link or URL to prerequisite course(s).

D. You are solely responsible for all costs associated with the marketing and delivery of Partner Ready Certification and Learning Courses.

E. You may not change class dates or cancel classes if there is at least 1 student enrolled in the course. Cancellations of classes with zero student enrollments shall be done 14 days in advance of the scheduled start of the class. In the event a class must be cancelled for a reason other than low enrollment, you are responsible for notifying registered participants at least 14 days in advance. Great care must be taken not to affect the Students in a negative way. Late class cancellations can only be made in emergency situations and should be communicated to the students and HPE as soon as possible once the determination has been made to cancel the class.

Required Systems

A. GPE uses a variety of systems to manage registration, scheduling, and quality feedback of our programs. If you are delivering HPE Channel Partner training you will use the then current HPE systems for those HPE Students registered in your courses. HPE will enter your authorized course offerings into SABA and the public calendar on your behalf. You will provide an

electronic roster of the students attending a course within three (3) days of the start of the course, the roster shall be in form and substance as specified by HPE.

When using the HP evaluation system, you will use HPE’s version of the MTM system.

B. If you are delivering a private or dedicated course, you will provide a roster of the students and course evaluation results to HPE within three (3) days of the completion of the course. You must use an HPE Certified Instructor when you deliver a private or dedicated course and the MTM overall evaluation satisfaction score must be at least 4.25. When you are delivering training not directly related to obtaining HPE Certifications, You may use HPE’s evaluation system or your own evaluation system and you will provide a monthly data feed to HPE of the Student survey results. Students who register within your registration systems are required to respond to a number of questions that HPE will provide to you. You may also add additional questions beyond what HPE provides and are not required to report results of those questions to HPE.

C. HPE Learner ID. You will obtain a unique Hewlett Packard Enterprise Learner ID for all students who attend the courses you deliver. The Learner ID must be obtained prior to the start of the course and must be provided to HPE in the student roster you submit to HPE. HPE will train you on how to obtain a Learner ID for Your students and will provide support if you are unable to locate a Learner ID.

Pricing and Price Protection

HPE has developed a system for you to order your Student Kits that provides flexibility and is designed to meet the varying needs of your students. The options you have for ordering Student Kits are: hard copy, e-book, or a bundle of both hard copy and e-book. You will pay a daily fee for Student kits and that fee will vary depending on the method you choose to purchase the course kits as well as whether the course is delivered in an Emerging Country or a Developed Country.

A. These costs include printing, but you are responsible for all shipping costs. Later in this Guide You will see the current list of emerging and developed countries.

B. You will order course kits through HPE Press, hpepress.hpe.com. Hard copy course kits should be ordered at least seven (7) business days before a class starts.

C. You are responsible for payment of any and all Student Kit and shipping fees required by the Partner Ready Certification and Learning Program.

Partner Ready Certification and Learning Remote Labs Overview

HPE wants your students to experience real-world, hands-on labs during their time in your class. HPE builds some labs which you may rent from us, or we strongly encourage you to build your own labs. The following paragraphs outline Our Remote Lab program in more detail.

A. HPE Remote Labs. You may rent Partner Ready Certification and Learning Remote Lab time from HPE. If you rent Remote Lab time from HPE, We will provide the services described in

detail below. You must work through HPE’s approved service provider for such rental fee. When renting Remote Labs from HPE, You will refer to the current terms and conditions described below and on the HPE Labs Reservation Request web page. To schedule a reservation, You will use the calendaring tool located on the following web page: learningpartnerconnection.com/HPELabs

B. PRLP Remote Labs. We strongly encourage you to build your own remote labs and rent lab time out to other learning partners or for any reasonable business need. If you are going to build your own Remote Labs capability, HPE will provide you with the requirements and instructions to assist you. The instructions may include a bill of materials (BOM), equipment lists, Visio diagrams, setup and configuration guides, and more.

HPE Remote Lab rental rates are described in the following table and are subject to change with thirty (30) days written notice from HPE:

Remote Lab Terms & Conditions

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) maintains and operates Remote Labs that you may rent for use in your deliveries. In order to ensure an excellent student experience, HPE requires that your instructor must meet the following criteria before they can deliver a course using the HPE Remote Labs.

Instructor must be:

• HPE Certified Instructors who are authorized to deliver the course

• Trained and approved on the HPE Remote Lab they are using. HPE will provide Remote Lab Training Courses at no cost to you or your instructor. Such training may be live or recorded as determined by HPE.

• Valid authorized instructors must be assigned to your lab reservation no later than two (2) weeks prior to the reservation start date. You will provide the instructor name, email address, and phone number to HPE. If you do not assign an authorized instructor within fourteen (14) days of the class date, GPE may cancel your reservation and charge you the applicable cancellation fees (described below).

– Remote Labs may be cancelled by you. If you choose to cancel a Remote Lab reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

– If You cancel a lab reservation at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to reservation delivery start date You do not pay any fee

– If You cancel a lab reservation less than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the reservation delivery start date a 100% cancellation fee is charged (100% of total reservation lab fee)

We strongly encourage Your HPECI Instructors to practice in the labs prior to delivering a class to students. Your HPECI can book practice time outside your reservation time. To schedule time,

your instructor needs to send a request to the following e-mail address: HP Partner Ready Certification and Learning Remote Lab – Escalations

HPE may modify, suspend, or discontinue the HPE Remote Lab program at any time with thirty (30) days’ notice.

Metrics

We require regular metrics reporting from you as part of our on-going business governance.

A. Reporting. You are responsible for providing required reports to HPE. Required reports include, but are not limited to, student enrollments, student cancellations, private and public course offerings, and course cancellations. Reporting will be required on a quarterly basis, unless otherwise specified by HPE. HPE will provide the reporting format and sample reports to assist you in preparing the required reports.

B. Quality Scores

1. You are expected to maintain good quality Student evaluation scores, as measured by the HPE evaluation system. On a quarterly basis, you will report the results of the Student satisfaction scores for the HPE required questions. The minimum acceptable overall quality score, as measure by the MTM, is 4.25 out of a possible score of 5.0. You will work with HPE to implement corrective actions if your overall quality scores are below 4.25.

2. Some example areas of quality review are:

i. Course relevancy: (Was the course relevant to my job?)

ii. Course quality comparison: (How did this course compare to courses you have taken from competitors?)

iii. Likelihood to recommend: (How likely are you to recommend this course to co-workers or peers?)

iv. Class logistics

Partner Ready Certification and Learning Learning Partner Derivative Works Program

A. Overview. The Derivative Works program is available for you to use if you need to alter or modify HPE courseware for a private or public delivery.

B. Request and Approval. The Partner Ready Certification and Learning Learning Partner Derivative Works Program (DW) described below allows you to modify the Courseware. You must obtain HPE’s written approval prior to creating or using any Derivative Work. After you submit a request to create a Derivative Work, HPE will assign a project liaison who will lead the request through the approval and review stages. Following is the general process for approval for creation of a Derivative Work:

1. You complete the Derivative Work request form and submit it to: learningpartnerconnection.com for review. Please allow five business days from the date of submission for HPE to respond to your request.

2. If approved, HPE will:

i. Return the Derivative Work request form with instructions for accessing and downloading Courseware files

ii. Invoice You for the Derivative Work fee

3. Upon Your completion of the Derivative Work

i. You will contact the assigned project liaison for instructions on uploading revised Courseware. We will review the completed work and, if the Derivative Work is approved, will send an “Authorization to Use” or if the Derivative Work is not approved, will send a follow-up and corrective action request to you. This step is not required for a sales class.

C. Limitations on Use of Derivative Works. We reserve the right to approve or reject, at our sole discretion, any request to create a Derivative Work. You must adhere to the requirements of what can and cannot be done with Derivative Works. The list below is provided only as examples, not by way of limitation, of what is eligible and not eligible for creation of a Derivative Work

E. License to the Derivative Works. Subject to the terms set forth below and Your payment obligations, HPE hereby grants to You the following:

1. Upon approval by HPE of Your request to develop the Derivative Work as provided above, HPE grants and agrees to grant to You, a non-exclusive, worldwide, license to use, reproduce, display, translate, import, disclose HPE Materials for the sole purpose of creating a Derivative Work within the approved parameters.

2. Upon approval by HPE of the completed Derivative Work, as provided above, HPE grants and agrees to grant to You, a non-exclusive, worldwide, license to distribute such Derivative Works for use only as part of an Partner Ready Certification and Learning Program for a period of twelve months after approval date. This license may be extended for additional twelve-month periods by written approval by HPE.

3. If your license to the Derivative Work is not extended for a following year, Your Derivative Work license becomes invalid and you will not receive a refund of any Derivative Works fees you have previously paid.

Required Use of HPECIs by Delivery Partners

A. You will assign Certified Instructors to teach any Public or Private Partner Ready Certification and Learning Course or Derivative Work. A Certified Instructor must only conduct a Course for which he or she has been authorized to deliver by HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning.

B. Only HPECIs are authorized to deliver Partner Ready Certification and Learning training.

C. HPE has the right to periodically audit the performance of any Certified Instructor in an effort to ensure quality of instructor delivery and to monitor performance issues on a quarterly basis and at minimum for each point release or as deemed appropriate due to significant content changes.

D. You are responsible for payment of any and all fees and charges claimed by any instructor in relation to the Training Services or otherwise, and you will indemnify HPE against such fees and charges.

Trade Controls

If you export, re-export, or import Products, technology, or technical data, you assume responsibility for complying with applicable laws and regulations and for obtaining required export and import authorizations. You will comply with Trade Controls requirements posted on the HPE Partner Portal.

Changes and Amendments

A. We may occasionally change our policies or programs contained in this Guide. When we do so, we will notify you in writing.

B. Any amendment that we issue to this Guide will automatically become a part of this Guide on the effective date specified in the amendment notice. If you do not agree with the amendment, you must give us written notice of your objection within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the notice. If you object and the parties cannot reach Guide on the amendment within thirty (30) days after our receipt of your objection, then either party may terminate this relationship under the Terms and Termination section described in Learning Partner your contract with HPE.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Certified Instructor (HPECI) Program

The HPECI program is designed to ensure that instructors are ready to provide a high quality learning experience to your students. The HPECI program certifies instructors who have demonstrated proficiency with HPE labs, products and solutions, passes required exams, and have advanced presentation and facilitation skills. The HPE Certified Instructor community spans the globe and HPECIs are part of our global instructor community.

HPECI instructors are a vital resource in HPE’s sales and technical training community. The HPECI program provides instructors with the authorization to access course materials, attend train-the-trainer sessions, and actively participate in instructor forums where they can connect with HPE training development teams and HPE subject matter experts.

HPECI PROGRAM BENEFITS

Authorization to deliver Only Certified Instructors are authorized to deliver courseware to HPE channel partners through HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning Learning Partners

Access to courseware Only Certified Instructors are authorized to access HPE official instructor materials

HPE communications Certified Instructors receive advance notice of new courses and certifications through the Certified Instructor Connection located in the Web portal located in mylearninghpe.com site. Regular communications from HPE showcase new training opportunities and program updates.

Train-the-trainer (TTT) Instructors have access to events, webinars, and skill-developing initiatives to keep their skills and knowledge current. TTTs are available either live or can be accessed via a recorded TTT library for instructor to access 24 x7.

Use of insignia Instructors can use the Certified Instructor insignia to promote their relationship with HPE.

Certified Instructor Connection (CIC) Instructors receive secure access to the most current versions of course materials through the HPE Certified Instructor Connection (CIC). The CIC also provides forums, resources, and tools for instructors to share experiences and communicate with HPE training development teams and subject matter experts (SMEs).

Industry recognition Certified Instructors are recognized across the globe for their instructional skills and knowledge in HPE products and solutions.

Steps to become an HPE Certified Instructor

Step 1: Nomination All Certified Instructors are nominated by an HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning Learning Partner (PRLP).

Step 2: Create an HPE Learner ID and gain access to Mylearninghpe.com and The Learning Center Each instructor must create an account and obtain an HPE Learner ID. In addition, the instructor must register for an account with Mylearninghpe.com and HPE Press to access instructor materials and information. To complete these two requirements the instructor must:

C. Next, click ‘Register for HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning’

D. Complete HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning registration form

Be sure to register with your work email and address (if applicable). After four (4) business days you will receive your HPE Learner ID. Go to Mylearninghpe.com and click ‘Check My Progress’ under My Certification Coach. Click on ‘My Profile’. Your Learner ID will be in this section.

Step 3: Register to become an HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning Certified Instructor Once you have your HPE Learner ID you must register to become an HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning instructor and affiliate with a PRLP. To reach the registration form, go to: mylearninghpe.com/forms/instructorRegistration.aspx. Before you finish registering please read the Terms and Agreements (provided at a link at the bottom of the page). Check the box to confirm that you agree to these terms before submitting the form.

Once the Learning Partner approves the submission, the instructor will have access to the Certified Instructor Connection (CIC) within three (3) business days.

Step 4: Participant-Centered Learning for Facilitators All HPECI candidates must complete Participant-Centered Learning for Facilitators, a six-hour Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) presented by HPE. This free course teaches the HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning implementation of participant-centered learning methods and theory.

You can access the course by logging into Mylearninghpe.com (using the same user ID and password as the Portal) selecting Training > HPE Certified Instructor Connection > Participant Centered Learning for Facilitators > Register

Once you have completed this course you should have access to Instructor Course Assessment Materials on HPE Press within seventy two (72) hours.

Annual renewal of Certified Instructor status

HPE recognizes and promotes Certified Instructors as skilled in HPE technologies and learning products. Following are the annual renewal requirements:

• The Certified Instructor program is an annual program based on the calendar year (January 1– December 31). Instructors must sign the program agreement yearly.

• Deliver at least two HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning courses per calendar year (January 1–December 31). The courses can be delivered on behalf of any HPE PRLP.

• Maintain an average Metrics that Matter (MTM) score of 4.5 out of a possible 5 on instructor evaluation questions.

Details about the 2016 renewal process, including deadlines and processes for submitting MTM scores, will be announced on the Learning Partner Connection and the Certified Instructor Connection prior to January 1, 2016. Instructors failing to complete the renewal process may be suspended from the program and not allowed to continue to deliver HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning training. Suspended instructors will be required to apply for reinstatement by contacting HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning Program Support. Contact information for regional support can be found in the resource section of this document.

Non-compliance with Certified Instructor guidelines

Failure to comply with the rules and guidelines in this Program Guide may result in instructor decertification. A decertified instructor may not be allowed to re-enroll in the program for up to twelve (12) months.

Certified Instructors may lose their certification for reasons including but not limited to:

• Failing to comply with the Certified Instructor requirements as set forth in this Program Guide

• Teaching an HPE course with student or instructor materials that are not HPE authorized materials (e.g., photocopied, altered, edited, or obtained from unofficial sources)

• Cheating on or falsifying exams or certifications, Metrics that Matter (MTM) evaluations, or helping another candidate cheat

• Misusing the Certified Instructor insignia or the HPE brand

• Unprofessional behavior

• Standards of Business Conduct violations

• Using Certified Instructor materials in a manner that is not consistent with the end-user license agreement

• Offering HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning training in unauthorized locations or not using HPE Partner Ready Certification and Learning registration and transcript resources

• Transferring their Remote Lab logins to other instructors for any reason
