SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 10

I am pleased to share with you that in 2015 we continued with our commitment to safe and efficient operation, lesser environmental footprint, full commercial utilization of our fleet, satisfied customers, and achieving our milestone targets that we are proud to share with our stakeholders through this Sustainability Report.

Among the highlights of our 2015 accomplishments were delivering all shipments successfully and safely and accomplishing a total of 747 worldwide and coastal voyages with total tonnage of 14,913,759 Metric Tons, achieving 100% commercial utilization with high degree of customer satisfaction.

We continued with our existing initiatives such as Al Daffah and launched new mechanisms such as hull coating, retrofitting ships with Mewis Duct, and upgrading alarm and hydraulic systems to strengthen our commitment to energy saving and achieving cost effectiveness as well as reducing our environmental footprint.

Al Daffah alone rewarded us with CO2 emission reduction of 189,540 Tons in LNG Fleet, 11,034 Tons in Tanker Fleet, and 4921 Tons in Dry Bulk Fleet.

Our ships sailed through High Risk Area securely and safely due to our innovative, preventive and defensive security and anti piracy measures

Five of our eight LNG vessels celebrated loading and delivering record cargos from Das Island, UAE, to Tokyo, Japan. The vessels included Al Hamra lifting and delivering 1500th cargo, while Ghasha, Mubaraz, Shahama and Al Khaznah each delivered its 200th cargo.

Another major milestone we achieved was going-live with our ship-office connectivity through the Performance Management System (PMS) solution of our Al Ruban ERP Project. We started with our LEG vessel Yas and will be rolled out across the company’s full fleet.

We also continued with our tradition of offering our employees with health services beyond the routine health checks. We held the company-wide Health Day for the second consecutive year with more participation and examination. We also enrolled many of our employees in Global Corporate Challenge (GCC); a unique program, comprising exercise, nutrition and sleep patterns. A total of 91 employees, 60% of the staff, participated in 100-day challenge, and walked a total of 88,536 KM which is equivalent to walking to 2.20 times around the world with 82% of the participants each exceeding 10,000 steps a day.

These health campaigns were strategic investment in employees’ social, mental, and physical health. A clear return on investment was realized through enhanced health, improved habits and enriched wellbeing culture.

We trust you will find the above topics in detail in the report and enjoy reading it. We will also be happy to receive your feedback to help us address any concerns and improvements you may have..

Sultan Al ZaabiChief Executive Officer.
