    TOURNAMENT RULES** This is a synopsis of the rules for the Kerr 4-H Skeet & Trap Club Invitational Shoot. With exceptions, Kerr 4-uses current Texas 4-H Shooting Sports Program Shotgun Rules. http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/shootingsports#general

    Registration:  A registration worksheet has been provided in this packet. Early Registration closes May 13, 2016 a5 p.m.  All entrants’ registration must be submitted through iClays on or before that date to avoid a late fee of $50.0Late registration will be taken as space allows until May 27, 2016 at 5 p.m. All entrants’ registration must beubmitted through iClays on or before that date. Registration will not be accepted after 5 p.m. on May 27, 2016.

    We will allow late registration to the extent that we have available slots for shooters.

    There will be no on-site registration. 

    Payment: The only accepted form of payment is by credit card (visa, master card, or discover) at the time ofegistration through the iClays system.

    Refund Policy: Full refunds will be made to shooters who cancel their registration on or before May 13, 2016. Refuminus the $25.00 registration fee and any applicable late fees will be made to any shooter who cancels before June

    2016. NO refunds will be made for cancellations or no shows on or after June 3, 2016. All requests for refunds mube received in writing by e-mail or U.S. Mail at the address provided above. Al l refunds will be processed and mailafter the tournament is completed. 

    Safety Agreement: All competitors will be required to complete a safety agreement prior to picking up theiregistration packet at the event. This agreement will be emailed to all competitors after May 27, 2016 to the emailddress provided during iClays registration. Agreements will also be available at check-in. Shooters will not be alloo compete without a completed agreement. NO EXCEPTIONS! 

    Teams: There will be NO team event at this tournament.

    Concessions:  Concessions will be available throughout the tournament.

    Maps:  Layout maps of the facility will be provided to each contestant with their registration packet. These maps wdepict the locations of all venues during the tournament and will also be available online.

    Tie Breakers: Any ties in the Sporting Clays event will be decided by a Station Tie Breaker. All other events will hie settled by a shoot off. There will be no Puff Rounds for the International Events.

    Parent/Coach on fields:  No coaching will be allowed while the youth shooter is on the field or in the cage durvents. For safety reasons, parents will not be allowed on the skeet or trap fields. Distinctive barriers and signs that

    designate the fields from the spectator areas will be in place and will be pointed out to all attendees. Failure to adhe

    o this rule will result in the disqualification of the youth shooter affiliated with that adult for that event. On the WHBANG and Sporting Clay field spectators, parents or coaches will maintain a respectable distance from the shootingages to allow the referee room to officiate the match. At no time may the parent, coach or spectator interfere with

    duties of the referee. Failure to respect this will result in the disqualification of the youth shooter affiliated with thapectator, parent or coach. Continued failure to adhere to these rules will result in the expulsion of the parent, coachpectator.

    Shooting Carts: The following is a non-negotiable Hill Country Shooting Sports Center policy on the use of shootiarts at the facility. If you are planning to bring a clay cart on the property, you must complete a cart agreement fornd show proof of CART insurance. All completed forms can be mailed prior to the shoot to Hill Country Shootin

    possession a valid driver’s license. In addition, a parental unit must accompany any driver under the age of 18. Faio adhere to these rules will result in the cart being parked for the remainder of the tournament. Any reckless drivinntry into off limits areas will result in the same penalty. Range staff will have the sole discretion in this matter. Ca

    may not carry more persons than they are designed to transport.

    Pets: Pets are allowed on the facility, but must be on leash at all times. No pets allowed in the buildings. Pleasepick up after your pet.

    HOA:  The Kerr County HOA division is in each age class including ladies. HOA scores are determined by the tot

    of American Skeet, American Trap, and Whiz-Bang added together.

    Novice Class:  There will be NO novice class at this tournament. All youth shooters will be classed based on their division per 4-H rules.

    Ladies Class:  There will be a ladies class at this tournament divided by age categories Junior, Intermediate, Senior& Senior 2. Ladies may designate to shoot in the Open division; otherwise all female shooters will default to Ladiedivision. Once chosen the lady will remain in that class for the entire tournament. A Ladies HOA will be awarded.

    Scores:  Score will be available online real time at: https://www.iclays.com/scores/scores4510.html. Monitors may be available to see the scores at the facility. Scores may be checked at anytime by wireless Internet provided at theacility.

    4-H Enrollment: This is a 4-H event; therefore all entrants must be members of a Texas 4-H Club. All entrants muegister and shoot with the 4-H County that they are enrolled in. (Ex. If you are member of Gillespie Co. 4-H, who d

    not have a shooting program, but practice with the Kerr Co. 4-H program, you must enter this shoot as Gillespie Co

    Protest Procedure: Protests should be initiated immediately, and no protest will be considered after the awardseremony for that event has started. A formal protest may be initiated by the shooter only. Parents or coaches may nnitiate a protest or participate in writing a protest statement. The formal protest procedure follows:

    a)  State the complaint orally to the field referee, if not satisfied by the decision then; b)  State the complaint orally to the chief referee, if not satisfied by the decision then;c)  File a written protest with the chief referee within one hour after the completion of the recorded rounds in

    question.1.  Protest fee –  A protest fee of $25.00 must accompany any formal or written protest. If the protest is sustaine

    the fee will be returned. If it is denied, the fee will be retained by the shoot management.2.  Protest committee action  –  The protest committee will act on the formal, written protest in an expeditious

    manner to reach resolution as quickly as possible. Failure of the protest initiator to appear when requested bythe committee is justification for summary dismissal of the protest unless the content is clear without suchappearance. Excessive, adversarial or abusive argument by any person involved may be treated similarly.Committee actions will be announced in private prior to the event awards ceremony.

    Code of Conduct: The current 4-H code of conduct will be enforced both on & off the fields during this event.Shooters, volunteers, family members, or observers may be expelled from the event, match or grounds for failure toomply. Shoot management reserves the right to refuse future registration to any shooter who does not comply withurrent 4-H code of conduct.
