Vacation with a PurposeThe only thing more exciting than being on summer vacation is planning it and thinking of all the possibilities. Whether you dream about walking in the shadows of the majestic Rocky Mountains or beautiful Alleghenies, what you will experience at both OCF conference centers is a “spiritual depot” designed to help you refresh, refocus, and re-center as you reconnect with Christ! From hiking, horseback riding and rafting to enjoying meals with new friends and S’mores around the campfire with worship and song, I guarantee you’ll leave encouraged as you re-enter the race. Engaging and truly connecting with others who share and understand your military lifestyle will create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Talk it over with your family, friends, colleagues, and your OCF group. Friends and families will reconnect, leaders will gain new insight, and I assure you that all will have a fresh encounter with Christ. I invite you and your family to enjoy a purposeful and transformational experience this summer, and I hope you’ll consider making our conference center retreats an annual tradition for your family. An amazing time of physical refreshment, spiritual renewal and invigorating fun lies ahead. Don’t miss what God has in store for you. Spring Canyon Directors Kim and Kari Ann Hawthorne and their amazing teams can’t wait to serve you!

WHETHER IT’S ROCK CLIMBING OR RAPPELLING, ARCHERY, CANOEING, HIKING, SITTING AROUND A FIRE TALKING WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY, putting together a puzzle, whitewater rafting, reading a book, or listening to a spiritually mature teacher or guest speaker, you can experience a “vacation with a purpose” that’s relevant to all seasons of life.
I first attended Spring Canyon as a cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1982, and Kari Ann first experienced the thrills and adventure of Spring Canyon with her family in 1969. We separately fell in love with Spring Canyon, and later fell in love with each other at Spring Canyon. Whether it’s Summer Celebration, Rocky Mountain High, or Father Teen Adventure, we encourage you to attend this summer and become part of the Spring Canyon family! While here, you’ll experience God’s presence and taste of His “living water.” It’s an opportunity to reconnect in the Rockies—

Be Refreshed on Your Journey
reconnect with old friends, family, and most importantly with God. It’s a place for adventure, a place to rekindle memories and make new ones, and a place to make new friends. Each summer, hundreds of our guests leave equipped, refreshed, inspired, and ready to serve in their calling. I’m confident that you will, too!
As it was for my family while we moved around the world for 28 years, Spring Canyon can be your home away from home, a refuge, and a constant in what can be a turbulent journey. Come join the family and be refreshed on your journey. You and those who attend with you will leave The Canyon changed.
