To complete the ARB Summit protection package for the 2016+ Toyota Tacoma, the ARB Summit Rear Step Tow Bar has been developed as a replacement for the rear bumper. With the growing popularity of the dual cab pickup, ARB’s engineers were given the task of designing a rear bumper with a modern, integrated appearance. From the press formed wings to the lower diffuser panels, each component has been designed to complement the vehicle’s design in a stylish and practical manner, with no compromise to the level of protection.

This rear bar retains the OE towbar assembly, including trailer wiring and the license plate illumination. Press formed wings have been introduced to closely mimic the shape of the factory tub yet still provide greatly improved levels of protection compared to the original equipment tow bar and rear bumper. Hi-Lift jack points have also been incorporated into both the wings and the lower tube section. To create a seamless integration to the vehicle’s styling, paintable molded infill panels provided to replace upper portion of OE rear bumper assembly.

Hi Lift Jack Points:Four Hi-Lift Jack points are provided on the Tacoma Summit RSTB. One point is located on the lower edge of each wing. One point on each side is located on the rear lower edge of the 60.3mm tube.

Anodized Step Extrusion:Three pieces of anodised extruded aluminium are fitted on the center panel and wings. This is the same style as Summit Side Step extrusion, providing a solid gripping surface.

Summit Rear Step Tow Bar Wings :

Press formed wings are supplied in the ARB proprietary Integrit textured black powder coat.

To provide additional strength and bracing a 70mm access hole needs to be drilled in each wing. Support brackets then mount securely to captive nuts in the vehicle chassis. A template is provided for hole location.
