PRESS RELEASE December 6, 2016 Victors’ Gymnasts Have Strong Performances in Syracuse Greece, NY - The Victors Gymnastics Women’s Team of Greece competed in the 2016 Pinky Stone Memorial and the Men’s Team competed in the 2016 Polar Bear Classic both hosted by the CNY Gymnastics, December 2 – 3 at the OnCenter in Syracuse, NY. Victors Women’s Level 3, 4, 5 and Xcel Teams all placed second overall in their respective team competitions. The Men’s Level 5 Team placed third overall in their team completion. Women’s Level 3 In the Child division Brenna Scott of Irondequoit placed first on uneven bars, second on balance beam, and third all-around. Mia Hicks of Hilton placed second on uneven bars. In the Junior division Alexa Maschke of Greece placed second on uneven bars and third on vault. In the Senior division Chloe Post of Irondequoit placed first on balance beam and all-around, and second on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise. Taialise Devila of Rochester placed first on uneven bars. Women’s Level 4 In the Child division Raelle Brown of Greece placed first on uneven bars and all-around. Aleah Nolan of Irondequoit placed third on uneven bars. Claire Cellura of Greece placed third on balance beam. Brianna Hardeman of Greece placed third on floor exercise. In the Junior A division Makayla Ransear of Greece placed third on floor exercise and all-around. In the Senior division Ashlee Laemlein of Greece placed first on balance beam and second all-around. Women’s Level 8 In the Junior division Marina DelVecchio of Greece placed first on vault.

Women’s Xcel Bronze Juliana Pulci of Hilton placed first on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and all-around. Niyah Charlemegne of Greece placed first on vault, and second on uneven bars, balance beam and all-around. Lauren McLaren of Greece placed second on vault, and third on floor exercise and all-around. Ella Spillman of Brockport placed second on floor exercise.

Women’s Xcel Gold In the Junior division Allie Smith of Hilton placed second on vault. In the Senior division Jalina Charlemegne of Greece placed second on uneven bars and third all-around. Emma Begovic of Greece placed second on floor exercise.

Women’s Xcel Platinum Alena Simpson of Henrietta placed second on floor exercise.

Men’s Level 5 Devon Halter of Greece placed first on parallel bars, second on vault, horizontal bar and all-around, and third on still rings. Liam Brick of Greece placed second on still rings.

Ben Ouriel Men’s Level 6 Ben Ouriel of Greece placed first on parallel bars and all-around, second on horizontal bar, and third on still rings.
