Trainer’s Tip: Set the tone of class by consistently introducing each new move the first time through each block. As you continue to the second repetition of the moves, use the same block name to introduce it, and remind your students of the repeating patterns. As your students learn to recognize the patterns, they will become more confident in their own movement and increase intensity.

Trainer’s Tip: In the 2nd block, RUN RIGHT, demonstrate the appropriate lead leg on the run by landing on the foot that is farthest from the pool. So, when you begin you will face your class’ right (your actual LEFT) and land on your instructor right lead (your actual LEFT foot). It should feel intuitive, but may require a bit of forethought. Begin to practice preparing for the next block and pre-cue not only for your students, but also to aid in your own preparation.

Trainer’s Tip: While we are maintaining the cardio intensity in this track, concentrate on creating interaction between your class participants. Trainer’s Tip: This track uses a variety of levels. The first block is performed in a reclining position that requires core control, not only from the Ab group, but also the Back muscles. The 2nd block uses a standing position that is much more stable to start and then adds the leg lift and added resistance of the noodle pushing down. Use this progression to challenge your class. The 3rd block utilizes the suspended position, which requires all of the core muscle groups to work together to perform the movement. Make sure to cue these various levels and help your students find stability in each position.
