What is Dyslexia ? Dyslexia is a language disability, affecting reading, and writing, speaking and listening. It is a dysfunction or impartment in the use of words.

Dyslexic can be treated. Dyslexia is a life-long condition. With proper help people with dyslexia can learn to read and write well. Most people with dyslexia need help from a teacher, tutor, or therapist specially trained in using a multisensory, structured language approach.

Dyslexia can occur at any level of intellectual development. Unremarkably, it affects during the period of infancy itself. In the other hand, it is also predicted to be run in the family. According to statistics studies, a quarter out of the total number of people in Malaysia has been suffering from these learning disabilities. As a result, it leads to poor achievements in education for those who are affected by dyslexia as well as affects the development of education in Malaysia.

• The utmost difficulty involves word recognition and reading fluency, spelling, and writing. Some individuals with dyslexia manage to learn early reading and spelling tasks, especially with excellent instruction, but later experience their most exhausting problems when more complex language skills are required, such as grammar, understanding textbook material, and writing essays. People with dyslexia can also have problems with spoken language. They may find it difficult to express themselves clearly, or to fully comprehend what others mean when they speak.

• As interesting finding, as far as the use and effectiveness of the implemented virtual environment is concerned is that almost all of the included studies report positive results. Thus, these particular results are in agreement with similar positive findings identified in numerous studies, where virtual environments have been usefully applied for clinical assessment purposes, cognitive neurorehabilitation and in clinical psychology domains. Finally, taking into consideration the technological advances and decrease in system cost, we support the implementation of virtual environments in both adult and child population with dyslexia.

• Areas of strength or Good in art and creative work and some are high academic achievers. The experience of this dyslexic are being observed. This is one of the learning inabilities that is less unknown to the Malaysian people. The studies towards this dyslexic are to help the individuals to adapt to the lives comfortably. The people who have dyslexia are unique and all of them are good in different aspects of area. Most of the people in Malaysia have less awareness about Dyslexia, some of whom didn’t know about it have not have a very proper attitude towards the dyslexic students and being ignorant to these people. When they are looking towards these dyslexics people as if they were judging them. So we have to support people who are having a dyslexic, they may have more difficulties in their lives as we may not know how they may have been living.

• The major themes identified were: (1) Distress; (2) Self-doubt; (3) Embarrassment; (4) Frustration; (5) Relief; (6) Confidence; and (7) Motivation. These seven major themes affect them badly. Because of these problems the students are suffering from dyslexia. The findings revealed that being diagnosed with dyslexia as an adult can be purifying and shocking depending on the individual's current emotional status and personality. It also makes them to hate themselves. They can’t live a better life. However, as they develop a deeper understanding of what dyslexia means and how it affects them as individuals, the diagnosis becomes a liberating revelation.

• The assessment showed that she had the ability to experience self-created mental images as real and the ability to intentionally shift her perception to look from another perspective. In other words, she could intentionally access the brain’s perceptual distortion function and consciously view mental images in three dimensions. According to the Davis model, having this ability to create and distort mental images were the cause of Annie’s learning difficulties and also the reason for her creativity.

• However, teachers and parents still need to play the main role in this case. Parents should guide children with Dyslexia appropriately and monitor their learning’s progress at home. While teachers should come up with suitable method to teach children with Dyslexia and shape their behaviour to be a better one like normal children. Teacher will be empowered to improve both the academic performance and the behavior of their students with Dyslexia. In doing so, teachers will create an enhanced learning environment for all students.
