A very special venue

A variety of features transform the cabin into that rare place where entertainment and convenience go

hand in hand. Acoustic front glass, triple-sealed inset doors and Bose Active Noise Cancellation work

to create the Escalade’s extraordinarily quiet interior. The 16-speaker Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound

system makes the most of this venue. So does the available Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system.

It features a 9" diagonal screen, Blu-ray™ playback, MP3 capability, two wireless headphones, as well as

HDMI and USB1 ports.

The system also supports streaming Wi-Fi connected devices to the rear screen, ensuring everyone

has delightful diversions.

A controlled and comfortable environment

Tri-Zone Climate Control allows driver, front passenger and rear passengers to adjust temperatures

individually. This emphasis on individual control and comfort extends to power-adjustable pedals,

as well as a function-rich power tilt-and-telescoping heated steering wheel. And should individuals

require even more space, the Escalade ESV offers additional leg room, seating and larger doors to

easily accommodate up to eight passengers.

The Escalade is equipped with a variety of available systems that help you command the environment

beyond the cabin. For instance, Surround Vision provides an overhead view of the area immediately

around the vehicle, a great help when parking or in reverse. Automatic Park Assist uses sensors to both

guide your vehicle, as well as choose the most appropriate space. And when the desire of additional

visibility conveniences arise, the Rear Camera Mirror streams HD video from a tailgate camera directly

to the rearview mirror, offering a view (A) with substantially more vision than a traditional mirror (B).

Looking ahead

The full-color Head-Up Display (HUD) projects selected information onto the

front windshield, allowing you to keep your eyes safely on the road. And a

reconfigurable 12.3" LCD gauge cluster lets you choose how you want to see

vehicle, entertainment, communications and navigation information.

And Keyless Access connects you to your vehicle, enabling you to open or

During emergency braking or sudden maneuvers, available Automatic

Safety Belt Tightening activates. When conditions return to normal, they

ease automatically.

Grabs your attention. Subtly.

Cadillac’s patented Safety Alert Seat sends a discreet pulse to the left,

right or both sides of the driver’s seat, indicating the direction of the

threat — left, right or front.

Gain precious time

Up to certain speeds, available Front and Rear Automatic Braking can sense

imminent front and rear collisions and automatically engage the brakes, if

you have not already done so, helping to reduce the severity of the collision.

The system may even help avoid a collision at very low speeds.

Safety features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic,

surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read the vehicle Owner’s Manual for important feature limitations and information.

Surrounded by safety innovation

Travel the straight and smart

Using monitors to sense lane boundaries, Lane Keep Assist gently

turns the steering wheel if the system anticipates the vehicle is

leaving the lane unintentionally or without using your turn signal.

Working in conjunction with the Safety Alert Seat, Lane Departure

Warning sends a visual alert in the cluster and a warning pulse

through the seat cushion.

All clear

Side Blind Zone Alert monitors your blind spots, so if a vehicle is in

the adjacent lane, an icon in the side mirror illuminates to alert you.

If you activate your turn signal while the icon is illuminated, it will

begin to flash. Lane Change Alert surveys the area well beyond the

side blind zone, and flashes the side mirror warning icon to alert you

of a rapidly approaching vehicle.
