• MineralCountywilllaunchtheirkickoffforCAPmonthonMarch21st.Localgroups(4-H,GirlScouts,etc.)willpaintthetownblue.OnMarch25tha5Kwalk/runtopromotethemonthofAprilasCAPmonthwillbesponsoredbytheWVUofMedicinePotomacValleyHospital.Throughoutthemonth,speakingengagementsarebooked,pressreleaseswillrunonceaweek,childcareconferenceswillbecoordinated,andanappreciationeventforthosethatworkinthefieldofprotectingchildrenwillbeheld.

• MonongaliaCountywillbedisplayingwellnessinformationintheRailTrailsigntheentiremonthofApril.TheywillalsosendPSAsforbroadcastwiththeradioandnewspaperoutlets,andpostinformationonFacebook.Pinwheelswillbeprovidedtoparticipantsoftrainingsandtovariouschildcarecenterstouseinplantingpinwheelgardens.Willprovidetrainingsasrequestedtocommunitygroups.

• InPleasantsCounty,allchildren’spinwheelcoloringsheetsaremountedandhunginlocalbusinessesthroughoutthecounty.AnewspaperblitzbeginsonApril5thandcontinuesthroughoutthemonthintwoweeklynewspapers.

• InRandolphCounty,HealingthroughMusic/EngagingNewVoiceseventwillbeheldindowntownElkinsonMay5th.• Wetzel&TylerCountyCommissionersaredeclaringAprilasChildAbusePreventionmonthandsigningaproclamation.

TheLighthouseChildAdvocacyCenteriscoordinatingthefollowingactivities:� Encouragingchurchestoparticipatein“BlueSunday”� Providingbrochures,bodysafetyawarenessinformation,CAPmonthbookmarks,andarecommendedbooklist

toalllibrariesinWetzel&Tylercounties.Theyarealsodonatingthe“MyBodyBelongstoMe”booktoeachlibrary.
