What a fantastic season it turned out to be at Raptor Ridge - after a very wet winter and a hot
summer the year combined to generate a great growing season, our hunting started with Pat, Nat
and Jack all
from Sydney
seeking
Fallow, Ram
and Goat.
Jake and
Geoff from
Vic had
specifically booked Fallow after successfully hunting Red and
Rusa the previous year, they were blessed when two monster
Fallow turned up.
Father and Son teams
seemed to dominate
the year when another
return customer
Andrew and his son
Jess kicked off our Red
Stag season, Andrew
took a monster
Platinum 27 point 450#
plus SCI Stag and Jess
managed to take a big
12 point management
Red. This year the Red
Stags were exceptional and the Fallow Bucks in world
record league as we progressed through the Rut
smashing previous best Raptor Ridge records. With an
opportunity to hunt a small Hog Deer herd in NSW Pat
threw his hat into the ring and applied for a tag he was
not disappointed taking a beautiful mature Hog Deer
Stag. With many of our customers venturing from the US
and Europe, Mark, Judy and our compliment of guides
were kept flat out delivering the goods – too many to
show in
this
report
but all
can be
seen in

Later in the year we hosted some great clients to take Ram, Rusa and a couple of big fallow that
came out of the timber country to feed on our fresh pastures.
Our adventures into East Arnhem Land proved successful with rifle and bow securing some nice bulls
and exploring unchartered territory for next year’s hunts, still at $6500 2X1 for 2018 7 days, see you
at the iHunt Show 16th 17th September The Dome Homebush Sydney.
