HGHBA Teams with Classic to Kick Off New HomeParade and Announce Southern living Showcase Home

Join HGBHA and Classic on March 14 at 10:00 a.m., as the two join forces to kick off this year’sNew Home Parade and announce the area’s second Southern Living Showcase Home, the first forGeorgetown County.

"We could not be more excited,” said Rose Anne O’Reilly, Executive Director of the HGHBA. “TheNew Home Parade and this beautiful Southern Living Showcase Home are indicators of a much-improved local economy and the capability of builders like Berkley White of Classic. The upswing ofnew residential construction and home sales are huge economic indicators. Professional Builder Magazine Names Rob Clemons ofDawol Homes to its 40 under 40 Class of 2017

Professional Builder magazine recently announced its annual list of40 Under 40 builder superstars on its website, ProBuilder.com. RobClemons of Myrtle Beach is among the honorees. Rob works withDawol Homes and Carolina Bays Real Estate, both located in MyrtleBeach, SC.

Each member of the Class of 2017 is profiled in the March 2017issue. There were more than 200 nominations this year, illustratingthe depth of talent among this collection of future, and present,industry leaders. Professional Builder editors selected the winners,based on both personal and professional accomplishments. Thisyear’s class of 11 women and 29 men represents all regions of theUnited States.

Active in community service, many of the 40 Under 40 honorees buildt homes for Habitat forHumanity or other charitable organizations. An architect and a designer contribute their talents torevitalizing a downtown district. One builder gives back by teaching social entrepreneurshipto startup companies, and a construction superintendent provides free remodeling for needyfamilies.

“I look forward each year to the selection process of the 40 Under 40 honorees,” says EditorialDirector Denise Dersin. “The program’s winners are incredibly inspiring; they are among the mostaccomplished young home building industry leaders in the nation, and many have achieved a greatdeal in their communities as well as in their businesses.”

Since 1970, HBASC members and South Carolina’s legislators havebeen attending the Bird Supper. It’s the longest standing event onthe South Carolina legislative calendar. Canfor Busting Clay with HGHBA Spring Tournament

Canfor Southern Pine and Horry Georgetown Home BuildersAssociation invite you to join us for our CANFOR Spring BustingClay with HGHBA Tournament on Thursday, April 6th at BackwoodsQuail Club in Hemingway, SC. Pre-registration is required $100 pershooter or $400 per team.
