UMW Mothers & Others Celebration

Friday, May 12 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m..

This class is an informative

review given by our Kitchen

Health Inspector. This class will take about an

hour and includes a power point presentation.

Here is your opportunity to ask questions!

Wednesday, May 17 @ 8:30 a.m. Prime Timers will meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. for their outing. They will be going to the Monroe County Historical Museum followed by lunch at the Bloomington Sandwich Company. The cost for this event is $12 per person plus lunch money. Questions? Bible Study

Starting Friday, June 4 @ 1:30 p.m.

Mary Kay Anthony will be hosting a

four-week study on “Women in the

Bible” the first four Fridays in June: June 2, 9, 16,

and 23. This study will be held at her home from

1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and refreshments will be

served. You will not need a book for this class.

L: Almighty God, by your power you have raised Jesus Christ

from the grave to rule this world in love. We confess that we

have not believed in him but have remained captive to doubt

and fear, bound by the ways that lead to death. Forgive our

dread of dying, our hopelessness, our constant desire to live

for ourselves alone. Set us free in the victory of Jesus Christ,

to live our lives in joy and service, that we may share his

good news to all in need, and live as your glad and faithful

people.
