Welcome to the 2017 National NET Patient Conference!
A Time of HOPE: Healing, Opportunities, Patient Resources and Education
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE To give NET cancer patients hope by showcasing the latest diagnostics, and treatments that will improve their quality of life and longevity. The conference will focus on change: how far we have come in the last five years and where we are headed for the next five.
CONFERENCE DELEGATES AND PRESENTERS Conference delegates will include over 100 NET patients, patient leaders, caregivers and their families from across Canada. Our presenters are all the top multidisciplinary NET specialists from across the country, as well as other related health care professionals with an interest in NET cancer.
CONFERENCE PROGRAMME The conference programme includes state-of-the-art topics and presentations on NET cancer diagnosis and treatment in the Canadian context.

3:45 – 4:30 Session 9 Ask the Expert: 12 round tables with topics and experts outlined below. Participants rotate among tables in two 20 minute intervals. The presenter makes a 2-minute introduction to the topic and then patients at each table have 15 minutes to ask questions. After 20 minutes, the bell rings and people change and go to a second table. Same process. The second table conversation ends in 20 minutes.
