2017 NRM Education Calendar
NRM EducationSupporting environmental sustainability in schools
Why?Why do we need to work with young people?
Approximately 23% of South Australia’s population is under 18 years old.Almost every single one of these people will go to school!
Students of today will be the resource managers and decisionmakers of the future.
Working with students fosters lifelong learning skills and achieves meaningful social change.
Schools are often the heart of the community and can play an important role in influencing family and community members to take informed action related to NRM issues.
