Dear Parents and Players, The purpose of our tour is to enhance the cultural experience for the par ci- pant, to learn new skills and experience life in a truly football nation on. To experience aspects of life as does a professional player. These aspects include being part of a team, punctuality, behavior, training, diet and recovery. From the past experiences we can assure all those interested in attending that the benefits for each and every player attending is invaluable. We have been privilege in our past tour to get the opportunity to watch Barcelona at training and meeting some of the worlds best players in the process including Messi. There are no guarantees that this will happen again but we have learned that you never say never, that anything is possible.

Our intent is for players to experience coaching from Spanish coaches, a nation which has been at the forefront of youth development. The players will come home with new training methodologies and a new found respect for hard work and commitment.

We aim to leave those travelling with a life me of memories and for the players the added motivation to work hard if they wish to achieve their dreams.

Foundations Sports and Sports and Tours brings you a cultural and educational football tour to Spain in 2017. In recent years the Spanish game has dominated the international stage both at senior and youth levels. It is a culmination of 20 years of ground work established by the clubs and the Spanish football federation. A large part of it’s success is based on the number of highly qualified coaches and their football philosophy.

One club in particular has highlighted the success of developing players. Barcelona has a model that has become the focal point worldwide. The now famous “La Masia” has been responsible for many of the worlds current crop of world class footballers. Barcelona’s model is unique. We will get to visit the magnificent Camp Nou and the history of the club in a highly informative interactive experience at the Barcelona Museum. The museum tour gives you access to change rooms media centers and a walk up the players tunnel. We will also have the opportunity to

be coached by Barcelona coaches and play friendly games against local opposition of a similar level.

The city of Barcelona is in itself a fantastic destination to learn about the culture of the Catalan society with their unique architecture inspired by Guadi. We will also have an opportunity to be trained by coaches from Espanyol, Barcelona’s rival la Liga team.

This year we will spend several days at the resort town of Reus. Here we will stay at the magnificent resort of Cambrils Park whilst attending several master classes with profession- al coaches run by the AcademiaInternacional Technifutbol We will train at the nearby 5 star training centreComplex esportiu Futbol Salou, Our hosts will conduct 4 days of football masterclass in the methodology of Catalan and Spanish football.

All in all this tour promises to be an incredible journey of discovery, not only on a football level but also learning about a new culture, experiencing different culinary delights. Before heading back to Barcelona we will visit one of the best teams in La Liga. Villarreal are affectionately known as the yellow submarine. We will spend three days undertaking extensive training with a club who has developed many of Spain's finest Footballers. Training will be conducted at their Sporting City and we will get to play a friendly game in be- tween. Our spare time will be used to recover and see some of Villarreal's tourist areas. Should you be interested in attending please fill out the expression of interest form attached, one for each person travelling and return to us as soon as possible. It is important to ensure that we have the minimum required persons travelling so the quicker we receive expression of interest forms the quicker we can book our seats as flights are difficult to obtain during these peak times.

Families from Australia who will meet the group in Barcelona and arrange their own accommodation and itinerary while the child joins the group, will not be allowed to join group activities free of charge. Day 1 (Travelling day) Today we depart Sydney for Spain (Dates subject to available flights)

Day 2 Arrive Barcelona Transfer to Reus, Cambril’s Park Resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the resort, getting familiar with your surroundings. PM light session to ward off jet lag.

Day 3 AM Masterclass PM Visit Port Aventura Theme Park TBC

Day 4 AM Masterclass PM First game against vs. local opposition of a similar standard.

Day 5 AM Masterclass PM Masterclass session explaining the games methodology and history.

Day 6 AM Today we depart early by bus and move to Villareal FC, PM masterclass with Villareal coaches.Accomodation will be in Castellon City just 15 min from the training facility of FC Villareal

Day 7 Morning Masterclass PM game vs local opposition - Lunch and dinner not included today.

Day 8 AM Masterclass - Pm Transit to Barcelona by bus for the last leg check in to Hotel ciutat de Castelldefels which is ideally located. An excellent location for the players and parents with the beach and nearby restaurants and shops, access to the city is via a 20 min train ride. PM free at leisure. Time to explore your local surrounds perhaps head for the beach. ##Note this location mat change to the city area

Day 9 AM City tour Hop on Hop off bus culminating with a La Liga game subject to draw. No dinner provided

Day10 Masterclass RFC Espanyol - afternoon free to explore Barcelona and Visit to Futbol Mania

Day 11 Barcelona FC masterclass - PM game vs Local Opposition - no dinner provided

Day12 AM Barcelona FC masterclass PM Visit Camp Nou experience

Day13 Free day to finalise shopping and attractions. PM Flamenco show and dinner.

Procedure Once we have received the numbers of travelers and secured details you will be required to place an initial deposit of $650.00 per person traveling. This amount is non refundable as it covers securing seats on the chosen airline which is non refundable. A percentage of the deposit goes towards administration costs which is also non refundable. We will then forward you dates for instalment amounts, final payment required no later than 45 days prior to departure. * Some details are still to be confirmed as we arrive closer to the dates we will have a clearer picture of specifics such as attending la liga games etc. and the order in which we travel whilst in Spain.
