SPEEDFORCE ReticleThe SPEEDFORCE reticle was designed for both reaction-speed target acquisition and engagement, and for intermediate-range target holdovers using BDC circles and hash marks. The SPEEDFORCE is an MOA subtension reticle engineered to enable you to continue momentum from target to target and thus, excel in close-to-medium range engagements both in competition and field use.

When the riflescope is set at its lowest 1x magnification, the reticle’s illuminated double horseshoe serves as quick reference for centering on the target with both eyes open, as well as for establishing moving-target leads.

BLACK Cantilever Mounts Nikon’s new BLACK cantilever style mounting platform is designed for strength, precision and proper riflescope mounting position on AR/MSR rifles. Shooters who use fast-handling AR platform rifles understand the need for a light, do-it-all riflescope that can keep up. That’s why Nikon’s P-223 line offers long-range options and lightweight, compact riflescopes for quick close-quarters shooting.

Engineered for the .22 Long Rifle, the P-RIMFIRE offers two reticles, one designed specifically for the trajectory of hyper-velocity rounds (BDC 150) and the other (Nikoplex) offers two sets of turrets for both standard and hyper-velocity rounds.

Nikon BDC Distance Lock riflescopes utilize a first focal plane optical system—

designed to maintain your point-of-aim on the BDC reticle throughout the

magnification range of the scope. For example, if the circles on the BDC reticle’s lower

post represent 200-, 300-, 400- and 500-yard aiming points—these same aiming

points can be used when zooming between the highest power setting and the lowest.

To the hunter, this adds increased versatility to the riflescope in typical hunting

situations and provides aiming confidence at any power setting. Currently Nikon

offers the BDC Distance Lock first focal plane technology in PROSTAFF 5 and MONARCH

3 riflescope variants.
