SARAH HAMILON BERTHELOT BIO SARAH HAMILTON BERTHELOT serves as President and CEO of the Louisiana Association of United Ways, providing collaborative support to seven United Ways. Leading a virtual team, Sarah coordinates opportunities for member United Ways to collaborate on impact, talent development and advocacy efforts. She is also actively engaged in the global United Way network as the current Chair of the United Way Council of States and member of the US Membership Accountability Committee. Sarah has worked in the nonprofit sector for 19 years since graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she served as the first elected female president of the Student Government Association. Upon graduation, she enrolled for a year of service as an AmeriCorps, Delta Service Corps Member, assigned to serve families through Lafayette Habitat for Humanity. Prior to her work with United Way, Sarah worked with the American Heart Association and The Family Tree in Lafayette, Louisiana. In her volunteer leadership roles, Sarah serves as a board member for the Louisiana Partnership for Children and Families and is mentor for the 705 Young Professional Organization in Acadiana. Through the years, Sarah has served as an Executive Board Member for the Louisiana Association of Non-Profit Organizations, Past-President of the Junior League of Lafayette, At-Large Board Member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, founding member of the 705 Young Professional Organization in Lafayette and Chair of the Parent Group at the Episcopal School of Acadiana. Sarah was a member of the Junior League of Lafayette and Leadership Lafayette, Class XXI.

He has consulted with many organizations in strategic planning and conducted training on subjects such as board governance and outcome measurement for a variety of agencies and congregations. Civic Involvement

Dave has served on the boards of the Louisiana Partnership for Children and Families, Louisiana Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (LAVOAD), the Central Louisiana Family Justice Center, the Dubuis Healthcare System, Central Louisiana Community Foundation, Rapides Children and Youth Planning Board, Renaissance Home for Youth, Kent Plantation House, and others. Dave also serves as pastor of a small Disciples of Christ congregation in Pineville, Louisiana.

JASON P. HUFFMAN, PH.D. UNITED WAY OF ACADIANA United Way of Acadiana’s Vice President of Organizational and Impact Strategies, Jason Huffman, Ph.D., leads the Community Impact department at UWA. Originally from Ohio, he earned his master's and doctoral degrees in mathematics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He joined the UWA staff in 2013 and has ten years’ experience in strategic planning, data analysis, management and grant oversight. In his current role, Dr. Huffman oversees research, community program investments, and incubation of internal programs along with accountability for their outcomes. He and his wife Laurie reside in New Iberia, LA with their two sons, ages 9 and 11.

SANDRA MCQUAIN BIO SANDRA MCQUAIN joined Baker Manufacturing in 2013 and serves as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Baker, Sandra served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Marketing for a software development company located in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Sandra spent the early part of her career in the political field having served on the staff of a Tennessee Governor and as State Director for a United States Senator. In between her political and corporate endeavors, she was a founding member of Howell McQuain Strategies, a public relations and business strategies firm headquartered in Memphis. In 1999, she was recognized by the Memphis Business Journal as one of the "Top 40 under 40" and in 2000 was recognized by Memphis Woman Magazine as one of "50 Women Who Make a Difference." Sandra and her husband, John, are the proud parents of Stephanie (age 13) and Matthew (age 10). She is on the Board of Trustees for Alexandria Country Day School and is a member of the Alexandria Kiwanis Club and the Alexandria Rotary Club. She and her family are members of First United Methodist Church in Alexandria.
