Weather Science June 12-16 It’s raining, it’s pouring, the weather is roaring! Become a meteorologist as you investigate solar cookers and make your wind vane. Explore how rainbows illuminate the sky after a thunderstorm and learn how snowflakes form!

Nature DetectiveJune 19-23 The outdoors is your classroom! Search for bugs, feed the birds, and explore the shapes and textures of leaves. We’ll take regular nature walks, examine artifacts we’ve collected, and create beautiful nature art. Your love of nature will soar in this awesome nature camp!

Blast Off!June 26-30Get ready to explore the solar system and beyond! Create your own telescope to explore constellations then learn all about our favorite star—the sun! Put on your astronaut gear and find out what it takes to leave the Earth and explore space! It’ll be a blast!

Kitchen ScienceJuly 10-14Craving some brain food? Roll up your sleeves and get ready to explore how simple kitchen supplies can be used to make more than dinner! Make your own special concoctions and big scientific messes! Be ready to get your get your hands dirty and full of chemistry fun!

Cute & Creepy Crawlies July 17-21 Come explore the wonderful world of nature’s most divisive creatures. From spiders and snakes, to rats and bats, this camp is all about the creatures that make some go “wow” while others will shout “ick!”

Science of Dr. SeussJuly 24-28The marvelously imaginative world of Dr. Seuss comes to life as we invent and create together! From playing with oobleck to counting colorful fish, we’ll explore Seussville and seek the hidden science behind our favorite books.

What are L.A.B.S. Camps?Impression 5’s L.A.B.S. Camps are developed with your child’s curiosity in mind. Our camps offer opportunities to play, create, and challenge your child’s understanding of scientific concepts through interactive projects and experiments. All age-specific camps are designed to encourage children to make fun, lasting, and meaningful connections to science.

On the Go!July 31-August 4 Ready…Set…on the go! Experiment with wheels, gears, and all moving things! You’ll paint with cars, launch balloon rockets, and explore friction with a force and motion marble challenge. There’s no sitting still at this exciting week of movement science!

Explore the Senses August 7-11 Get a taste of what it means to be a real scientist by improving your observational skills and getting in touch with your five senses. How does what you hear affect the insight you’ll get from this sense-sational adventure? Wait, can you smell that? Science is in the air…discover it!

Art Discovery August 14-18 Come experience puffy paints, design towering sculptures, and make your very own art supplies! Investigate color and try out new techniques as we make beautiful creations to take home. Science and creativity mix playfully in this colorful week of camp!

Dino Stomp!August 21-25Dig deep into this prehistoric week of dinosaurs! You’ll have a roaring good time walking in a paleontologist’s footsteps and unearthing fossils. Investigate why Tyrannosaurus Rex no longer roams the Earth, look for dinosaur ancestors still living today, and more!

Fairytale Science July 31-August 4Once upon a time . . . a scientist uncovered the secrets behind your favorite fairytales! Join us as we explore Cinderella’s “crystal” slipper, then learn about the temperature of hot, cold, and just right. You’ll also learn why Rapunzel’s hair was so strong as we comb through the science of hair!

Nature InvestigatorAugust 7-11 Investigate nature as a naturalist and explore what’s living in our yards, our rivers, and our forests. We’ll go on nature walks, conduct experiments, and make art with materials we collect along the way! Grab your hiking shoes and get ready for a walk on the wild side!

Digging DinosAugust 14-18Get ready to put your paleontology skills to the test as we investigate creatures that roamed the Earth long ago. Come dig for fossils, learn about dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts, and create your own dinosaur identity! Grab a shovel—we’re going to be digging up some serious fun!

Science of MagicAugust 21-25 Abracadabra! Hocus Pocus! Come explore the amazing transformation of objects and the mysterious answers behind these tricks. Investigate chemical reactions with color-changing water and write a note with invisible ink. Get ready for a magical day of science!

To the Stars!June 19-23Do you wonder what it would be like to walk on another planet? Explore the big sky! Expand your knowledge and your imagination to the size of the solar system! We’ll launch rockets, explore planets, and create our own astronaut gear. Blast off for a week of out-of-this-world fun!

Fizz WhizJune 26-30Fizzy potions, oozy eruptions, and flashy explosions are what this week is all about! Come explore chemistry through icky, sticky, squishy, weird experiments. From fizz candy to erupting volcanoes, we’ll unleash the hidden potential of substances all around us with hands-on experimentation.

Spy AcademyJuly 10-14Calling all spy agents-in-training! Explore the world of spies through hands-on discovery of secret messages and codes. Create undercover tools to help you look around corners and see behind you! Disguise yourself in science during this amazing camp!

MakeJuly 17-21“Stuff” is made of all sorts of materials, like paper, steel, plastic, and ceramic! Roll up your sleeves as we dig into the science of making stuff. You’ll make sticky substances like silly putty and test nano fabric! Come create amazing stuff out of ordinary substances!

Art ExplorerJuly 24-28Grab a smock and let’s get creative! Leave the coloring books behind and come experience puffy paints, design towering sculptures, craft sticky collages, and make your very own art supplies! Science and creativity mix together masterfully in this color-popping week of art exploration!

LEGO® Robotics June 19-23Using sensors and gears, you can turn ordinary LEGO®s into amazing robots! Design a moving robot and use the LEGO® WeDo system to explore challenges and find solutions to make your robot even better. This experience involves teamwork, problem solving, creativity, and lots of fun!

Techno City June 26-30If you could build your own town, what would it look like? In this hands-on camp, you’ll work together to combine science and imagination to construct and light up your own metropolis! Build a city of the future, of the past, or create a fictional world all your own!

Best Commercial Ever!July 10-14Become a writer, director, actor—or all three—as you make your own commercials. Analyze the psychology of advertisements while you master the techniques of film and editing through a series of challenges. Put your creativity to the test and get ready to make the big sell!

Video Game ScienceJuly 17-21Create your own video game and learn “Scratch” programming to build it as you explore video game history and design. Put your skills to the test on a variety of gaming platforms, then show off your creation in our own video game showcase!

Slimy, Sticky ChemistryJuly 24-28Experiment with chemistry as you create your own ooey-gooey, fizzy, slimy concoctions—and investigate the science behind dry ice! Grab your goggles and lab coat; in this camp, you’ll create chemical reactions and stir up some fun mixtures as you interact with the wonderful world of chemistry!

Cardboard ArcadeJuly 31-August 4Get ready to create your own cardboard creation and turn your classroom into an awesome arcade! Great ideas become reality as you design, test, and redesign your game. Get inspired to turn ordinary, lifeless cardboard into an amazing game for you and your friends to enjoy!

Video Game ScienceAugust 7-11Create your own video game and learn “Scratch” programming to build it as you explore video game history and design. Put your skills to the test on a variety of gaming platforms, then show off your creation in our own video game showcase!

Hogwarts Adventure August 14-18Come explore the magic of science as we levitate objects, make potions, cast charms, and learn about magical creatures. Be sorted into houses and earn points for our very own House Cup. Get ready to make some magic!

Advanced Techno City June 19-23 Create the city of your dreams! In this hands-on camp, you’ll combine science and imagination to construct and light up your own metropolis! Learn about the world of design, electricity, circuits, and more as you prepare to share your creation at our week-end city showcase!

Advanced Robotics June 26-30Design awesome robots using the LEGO® EV3 system! Working alone and in teams, you’ll learn engineering basics via exploration and trial-and-error field testing. You’ll build and program robots to complete increasingly complex tasks as the week goes on! No robotics experience is necessary.

App Designer July 10-14 Using MIT’s App Inventor programming tool, even beginners can create their own apps! Learn the fundamentals of programming, how modern technology operates, and how simple ideas can be developed into mobile applications. While it’s not required, we encourage you to bring your own Android phone or tablet to this camp.

Hogwarts Adventure July 17-21Explore some of the magic and mystery of Hogwarts! Discover the magic of science as we levitate objects, make potions, and learn about magical creatures. You’ll be sorted into houses and earn points to compete for our very own House Cup! Get ready to make some serious magic!

Advanced Video Games July 24-28Take your gaming skills to the next level by designing a virtual game in which you control the outcome, characters, and levels! Learn to use KODU programming to explore the universal language of gaming; plus, draw inspiration from amazing games you can play on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii!

Movie Magic July 31-August 4Become a writer, actor, editor, and producer as you make your very own movie! Explore the movie-making process from writing and storyboards to filming and editing. We’ll learn the science of lighting, sound effects, camera technology, and more! We’ll finish the week with a red carpet premiere featuring your movie!

Concoctions & ReactionsAugust 7-11 It’s time for oscillating reactions and cool concoctions! Explore the science behind luminescence, dry ice, and endothermic reactions! Chemistry comes alive as we grab our goggles and explore the secrets of the Periodic Table of Elements. Viking & Norse MythsAugust 14-18 Dive into the past world of Vikings and explore the mastery of navigating the seas using the sun and stars. Investigate the science of thunder and reveal the Norse myth. Make your own Thor hammer and discover the science behind the electromagnetic spectrum!

Art & Science August 21-25 From materials science to the science of pigments and light, explore a variety of scientific fields as you create unique and original pieces of art. Using a variety of techniques—and the expertise of our friends at REACH Studio Art Center—you’ll turn the ordinary into the extraordinary!

Experience camp in our new maker space, Think Tank! Geared toward older youth, these camps are an exclusive opportunity to mix your imagination with your ingenuity to make real things using real tools!

Pinball MachineJuly 24-28Pinball machines are filled with so much science of motion and reflection! This camp explores the science behind pinball machines so you can build your own tabletop pinball! Explore types of launchers and integrate lighting! Showcase your pinball creation by turning our Think Tank maker space into an arcade!

Girls Only CampsG.O. camps provide an empowering space for girls to foster a love of STEM through teamwork, creativity, and shared interests.

Coding July 10-14 Apps! Websites! Robots! Oh my! Explore the world of programming by learning to code! Learn about different types of coding languages and use these tools to create your own codes. Experiment with your coding to set off sensors or even turn a piece of fruit into a musical instrument! Roll up your sleeves as we dive into the world of coding!

Make with WoodJuly 31- August 4Sawing, drilling, and nailing are all on the docket in this one-of-a-kind camp! Learn the skills necessary to build with wood—from carving to making things like pencil holders and name plates! With your creativity and skill at work, we can’t wait to see what you make!

Frozen ScienceMonday, June 12 Come explore the science of frozen things in the middle of summer! We’ll experiment with ice, make glittering crystals, and paint with popsicles as we learn about temperature, states of matter, and crystallization. This camp is as cool as ice!

Dinos, Mammoths & More!Tuesday, June 13Walk in a paleontologist’s footsteps, unearthing fossils and learning about extinct animals like giant sharks, bears, and sloths! We’ll make dinosaur footprints and eggs and search for ancestors of dinosaurs that still live today. Plus, discover how mammoths survived the Ice Age and much more!

Earth Rocks Wednesday, June 14Come explore the world of rocks and minerals and learn about the science of natural disasters and where they get their awesome power. See how plate tectonics have changed the Earth’s surface throughout time and how heat and pressure can change rocks into something new! Get ready to become a geologist and have a rockin’ time!

Invisible ZooThursday, June 15There are billions and trillions of living creatures you can’t see with your eyes but, without them, fallen trees would never rot and your food would never go bad! Sounds like science fiction, right? Dive into the world of microbiology and learn how creatures so small can have such a big impact!

Minion ScienceFriday, June 16Embrace your love of the iconic scene stealers from the Despicable Me movies, now stars in a movie of their own! Join us for a full day of minion mischief as we investigate their favorite food (bananas), take part in activities that would make a minion giggle, and join us in a minion dance party!

Glow in the Dark Monday, July 3 As a chemist for the day, you’ll make glowing Jell-O, glow-in-the-dark artwork, and learn about the chemical reactions that occur when you bend a glow stick. Explore how certain fireflies, deep-sea creatures, and even mushrooms use bioluminescence to create their own glow. Get ready to make creations that are positively glowing!

Stargazer Science Wednesday, July 5Get ready to explore the solar system and beyond! Create your own telescope to explore constellations, then learn all about our favorite star—the sun! Put on your astronaut gear and find out what it takes to leave Earth and explore space!

Science of Slime Thursday, July 6If gross is your kind of thing, you’ll love to get messy in this camp! Kitchen Chemistry Friday, July 7Craving something yummy? Roll up your sleeves and get ready to explore how to turn simple kitchen supplies into tasty chemistry concoctions! You’ll discover cool reactions as you make your own fizzy crystals and then investigate the science of microwaves. This camp will leave you licking your fingers!

It’s Electric! Monday, August 28What happens when you flip the switch to turn on the lights, or press a button to turn on your computer? Join us to investigate different forms of electricity and find out where they come from in hair-raising, hands-on experiments! We’ll make some simple circuits and you’ll get to take some of your creations home. This day camp is sure to be an electrifying experience!

Blooming Science Tuesday, August 29The outdoors will be our hands-on laboratory as we explore the natural world! Learn about the shape and texture of leaves by making your own leaf press! Take home your own mini-garden and watch as your seedlings sprout from the soil. Explore animal tracks and more!

Water Splash Wednesday, August 30Splish, splash, this is going to be a blast! Expect to get more than a little wet while challenging your understanding of one of our most important resources—water! Engage in hands-on experiences and learn about the water cycle, properties of liquids, and water-based art. Come make a splash at this science-soaked week of H2O fun!

Art Extravaganza Thursday, August 31Take your artwork to the next level by investigating the science behind making cool art. Practice the same artistic methods used by the greatest artists of all time! Science and art have so much in common! Test new techniques and make your own unique works of art to take home!

Design, Build, Destroy! Friday, September 1Put your building hat on and make amazing constructions out of LEGO®s, foam blocks, toothpicks, and more, then switch over to demolition mode and figure out the most efficient way to take a building down to the ground. Learn about forces and engineering in this brick-tastic camp!
