1. 3. ELIGIBLE CLASSES & EVENTS (IN LINE WITH THE OFF-ROAD SERIES CLASSES 3.1. Classes Expert 1 (0-200cc 2 Stroke & 0-250cc 4 Stroke) Expert 2 (Over 200cc 2 Stroke & Over 250cc 4 Stroke) Clubman 1 (0-200cc 2 Stroke & 0-250cc 4 Stroke) Clubman 2 (Over 200cc 2 Stroke & Over 250cc 4 Stroke)

Veterans (All Capacities - Age 35 – 44 years) Masters (All Capacities - Age 45+ years) Womens (All Capacities) Headlight Enduro Class (All Capacities – Must have headlight) *NOTE points in the Headlight class do not go towards the T&E Offroad Championship

**All classes are subject to the final number of entries**

3.2 This event is for members of the Trail and Enduro Motorcycle Club of WA. If you are not a member of the club you can purchase a one event club membership for $20. Visit www.trailandenduro.com.au

4. MACHINE NUMBERING Riders will be issued a number at rider registration, unless the riders bike is already numbered with their own Motocross Number, which is clearly displayed on the front of the bike and they have nominated this number on their entry form.

5. MINIMUM / MAXIMUM RIDERS The maximum number of entries that will be accepted per class is 40 riders. The minimum number of entries to constitute a class is 5 riders. Classes may be altered to suit entries received or raced at the same time but be scored according to class.

6. ENTRY FEES AND CONDITIONS

6.1. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES Entries will close Wednesday 23rd August 2017 at 10pm. Enter online ONLY at www.trailandenduro.com.au Enquiries to Karis Aplin 0430 297 548 or email [email protected]

6.2. ENTRY FEES Riders may choose to ride in one or two classes. Entry fees: ONE CLASS - $70 per rider TWO CLASSES - $80 per rider (entry fee includes environment levy and transponder hire) Motorcycling WA One Event Competition Licence - $75

6.3 NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED 7. MACHINE EXAMINATION Pits will open 7:00am. Machine examination from 7.00am to 8:15am. 7.1 All competitors must present themselves at registration with their MA licence and proof of current club membership to Machine Examination. Riders will be issues with their transponder

& race number (if they have not nominated a number) at registration. Helmets and Boots will be inspected at machine examination. Full riding gear will be inspected on start line prior to practice. Any machine not presented with all of the above requirements will be rejected! ALL MACHINES & HELMETS MUST CONFORM TO THE GCR’s. 7.2 Eligible Machines: Motorcycles do not need to be registered and must be suitable for MX or Enduro racing

8. RIDERS MEETING A riders meeting will be held at 8.30am. All riders must attend. 9. START METHOD Self-penalising drop gates. Clutch start. Gates positions will not be allocated. Only authorised officials will be permitted on the Start Line 9.1 15 second board displayed to all riders for full 15 seconds At the end of 15 second a 5-second board will be displayed. The gate will drop between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5-sec board is shown

10. FINISH METHOD A one-lap board will be displayed to the riders indicating when one lap remains. The chequered flag is displayed to signal the race is finished. 11. PROTESTS All protests shall be in writing and accompanied by a fee of $70.00 (refer GCR’s) 12. THE COURSE The course will be approximately 1.8km long, consisting of Natural Terrain grass, jumps, and hills. It will be repeated 3 times for each race. Race Order to be confirmed. 4 Rounds – Subject to time constraints. 13. AWARDS Trophies: 1st , 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be awarded in each class where ten (10) or more entries are received. If there are less than 10, then the classes may be combined with the approval of the Steward. Prizes: All entrants will go into the draw at Presentation for prizes. You must be at presentation to collect. 14. FIRST AID Ambulance plus First Aid personnel will be in attendance. It is a condition of entry that First Aid MUST be accepted wherever deemed necessary by the attending first aides. The Steward of the day has the right to refuse further racing of a rider if first aid requirements are not adhered to. 15. NO HASSLE POLICY Any rider or entrant or person associated with the rider or entrant shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner. A rider shall be responsible for his own conduct and that of any person with whom he is associated. Anyone who abuses or threatens personally or physically any official or any other person present at the event shall lie deemed to be in Breach of this rule. The Clerk of Course, for a breach of this rule, may impose PENALTIES on the day of this meeting i.e.: *Reprimand or warning. *Fine. *Expulsion from the meeting. All breaches will be reported to MWA for possible further action. 16. GENERAL RULES

16.1. No alcoholic beverages allowed in pits or racing circuit. 16.2. There will be no riding of bikes other than on the track or designated lane way. 16.3. Machines must be pushed to and from vehicles and in and out of the pits. Engine may be running to assist. 16.4. Dogs will not be permitted (except guide dogs). 16.5. Machines must remain in pits for the duration of the days racing, unless permission has been granted by the Steward 16.6. Enclosed footwear must be worn in the pit area at all times 16.7. No pit bikes.

TIME SCHEDULE PITS OPEN 7.00am RIDER REGISTRATION 7.00am – 8.15am MACHINE EXAMINATION 7.00am – 8.15am PITS CLOSE 8.15am RIDERS MEETING 8.30am PRACTICE LAP 8.45am FIRST RACE 9.15am LAST RACE 4.00pm PRESENTATIONS Approx. 4.00pm *Times are approximate and schedule is subject to change 18. SMOKING: Manual of Motorcycle Sport Rules provide for exclusion from an Event for Smoking in the pits. In addition competitors and supporters are reminded of a Motorcycling WA by-law which states “Smoking is strictly prohibited in areas where re-fuelling is permitted”.

19. DRUG and ALCOHOL TESTING: To ensure compliance with Motorcycling Australia's Anti-Doping Policy regular Drug Testing will be conducted at Motorcycling WA events. (See: MA Manual of Motorcycle Sport) Penalties for non-compliance with the MA Anti-Doping Policy are severe and it is the rider’s responsibility to know and adhere to these rules. If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline on1800 020 506.

20. NOISE TESTING: NOTE: NOISE limits apply. To ensure compliance with GCRs and local environment regulations regular noise testing will be conducted at Motorcycling WA events. Machines will be tested for noise at this event. Please ensure your machine has a properly packed muffler and the exhaust meets the maximum noise levels of 112dB(A) in accordance with GCR 12.10

21. NO DOGS: In accordance with MA Rules, No Animals are allowed at motorcycle events. Assistance Dogs accepted. 22. GENERAL INFORMATION Toilets will be on site.
