DROUGHT LIFTED NOTICE
Last month, the Tuscany Hills Board of Directors is reached out to all homeowners of the Tuscany Hills Community to make you aware of a recent executive order made on April 7, 2017 by Governor Brown.
Executive order B-40-17 eliminates the drought emergency in most California counties, including Riverside County. This now allows the Board to comply with their fiduciary duty to enforce your governing documents and gives you the opportunity to restore and/or renovate your landscaping. The goal is to provide you a period of 4 months to landscape your yard to an acceptable condition, prior to enforcement; January 1, 2018 will be the deadline. You will also want to make sure and contact EVMWD for their continued water restrictions.
Homeowners can either replace the turf and missing plant material, restoring the yard to what it was before, or submit an architectural application for alternative designs, such as drought tolerant options, including mulch, rock, artificial turf, plants or a combination thereof. Architectural Applications are available on the Association’s website at http://tuscanyhillshoa.net/association/architectural-information.
