Don’t Worry, About a ThingEvery Little Thing, is Gonna Be Alright

I recognize somedays it can be difficult to heed this advice with all that swirls around us as executives, which is exactly why you won’t want to miss the 2017 Annual Conference. Join us as we let our worries slip away for a few days on the iconic Clearwater Beach.

This year’s Program Committee has put together an excellent agenda that includes a renewed emphasis on professional development and leadership. Of course we have included a lineup of engaging content rich programming as well. But in these challenging times for medicine, we felt it is important to take advantage of our location and theme to focus on some personal

enrichment as well.

The BSOF Annual Conference continues to be regarded as the best state level conference for orthopaedic executives in the nation. It is our willingness to come together and lift each other up which is at the heart of the BSOF experience. This is your annual platform to secure the information and relationships you need to drive excellence in your organization.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your President and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Beach.

Sincerely,

Kevin Joyce President Florida Bones 2016-2018

Dr. Linda Talley speaks and teaches a different and more powerful language that crosses industry lines and her audience evaluations prove that! Not only do her audiences learn a more powerful language, they walk away smiling and much more aware! Her audiences always ask for more and often hang out with her after her session to keep the knowledge flowing and more questions answered!

Dr. Talley has her own unique way of imparting knowledge based on the many returning learners who want to hear more from her! Include the first-time attendees and learners who have heard about her through word of mouth that says “you must hear her because you will learn some amazing stuff!” She has an emotionally contagious “can-do” attitude; a sense of humor that some say would be appropriate for stand-up comedy; and she engages and delights all levels of attendees because her programs are memorable and useful! Her high energy style will leave you with ideas you can use immediately!

She has authored four vastly popular books on behavior including “Oh Dear, My Slip Is Showing” a ground breaking book on why we do what we do on a sales call, how it impacts that call and how to reprogram ourselves to accomplish our goals for that call. Her most recent book, “Power Hands: A Leader’s Guide to Hand Gestures” reviews her latest research on specific hand gestures and the perception and meaning they create.

Dr. Talley is not only a natural born, well-known, and diversified educator and speaker, she is also an ongoing researcher in the area of leader development and nonverbal communication. She knows what she is talking about!
