The first evening in April features acclaimed dancer/choreographer Caleb Teicher, Bessie Juried Artist Abigail Zbikowsi, and critically-acclaimed Bharatanatyam soloist Malini Srinivasan. The May 4th event features the highly eloquent contemporary ballet of Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance, the abstract, often comedic dance of Larry Keigwin & Nicole Wolcott, as well as Mamaroneck dancer, choreographer and teacher Megan Williams in Megan Williams Dance Projects.

The Emelin Film Club reconvenes this September with six of the best new critically-acclaimed independent films from around the world. This past year, members were the first to see such acclaimed films as the multiple Academy award winner Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, the Golden Globe darling, Mudbound, which was also nominated for four Oscars, and Faces Places, awarded Best Documentary at the Cannes Film Festival. Films span a wide range of genres and subject matters and are specially selected by club programmer David Schwartz, Chief Curator at the Museum of the Moving Image.
