City of Melbourne since the goldrush days of the 1850’s.

importantly, the longest continuous Chinese settlement in

The Chinatown Precinct Association Inc., (CPA) with

over 400 businesses, is centered around Little Bourke St,

between Spring to Elizabeth Sts, and, Bourke to Lonsdale

Sts, including all the laneways. The CPA is recognised as

the Precinct Representative Organisation by the City of

Melbourne in promoting the Chinatown area.

An immediately recognisable Melbourne icon, Chinatown

herbalist centres, Karaoke venues, nightclubs, bars,

bookstores, boutiques and other exciting retailers
