As libraries naonwide bemoan declining traffic and checkouts, FLW exceeds all expectaons. Not only are more people using digital resources more frequently, but more people come in and check out physical books, magazines, toys, music CDs, movies, and art. More aend library programs. More use library space to read, study, relax, meet with others, use computers, and play. And all that occurred amidst challenges. We experienced a flood in March which resulted in repairs, renovaons, and replacement of things small and large, from electrical outlets to a sewer lateral. 2018 Annual Report

From the Director

Frank L. Weyenberg Library patrons are magnificent! As libraries nationwide bemoan declining traffic and checkouts, FLW exceeds all expectations. Not only are more people using digital resources more frequently, but more people come in and check out physical books, magazines, toys, music CDs, movies, and art. More attend library programs. More use library space to read, study, relax, meet with others, use computers, and play. And all that occurred amidst challenges. We experienced a flood in March which resulted in repairs, renovations, and replacement of things small and large, from electrical outlets to a sewer lateral. We used this opportunity to build a new, more functional Circulation Desk. This is just one of the many changes we’ve made to make Frank L. Weyenberg Library more inviting and more useful. How will you use Library resources this year? Visit us to see all that we offer.
