2018 annual report - disability rights...
TRANSCRIPT
The Disability Rights Fund (DRF) and the Disability Rights Advocacy Fund (DRAF) are a grantmaking collaboration between donors and the global disability rights community that empowers persons with disabilities to advocate for equal rights and participation in society.
Through grantmaking, advocacy, and technical assistance, the Funds support Disabled Persons Organizations (DPOs) to use global rights and development frameworks, such as the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — ensuring no one is left behind.

• Raise the voice and visibility of the diversity of persons with disabilities to strengthen inclusive movements
We track our results with a robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning system. The impact of our work since the inception of our grantmaking in 2008 includes: • 115 national level legislative, policy, and government
program changes secured with grantee input and 123 additional underway
• 77 local level legislative, policy, and government program changes secured with grantee input and 84 additional underway
