Judogi controlAthletes must compete wearing an Judogi that meets the requirements as set out in the Judo AustraliaSports Code. An exception is made for Monstars, Junior B/G, Senior B/G and Special Needs athletes who are NOT required to wear a blue Judogi (but must present themselves in a white Judogi when called as the white competitor.
MedalsFirst place (Gold), Second place (Silver) and Third places (Bronze, x2), with the exception of Monstarsdivisions which will have single Third place. Players in the Cadet, Junior M/W and Senior M/W must have won a minimum of one fight in order to receive a medal.
Training CampImmediately following the 2018 LiveLighter Judo WA International Open, you are invited to attend a 2-day International training camp. The location and cost of the training camp will be disclosed closer to the event. Please see the event schedule for details on dates & times.
InsuranceEach National and State Federation is responsible for its competitors (the control of non-pregnancy aswell as the control of gender are placed under the responsibility of the National Federations) and must assume all responsibility for accident and health insurance as well as the civil liabilities for their competitors and officials, during the event described in these outlines.
The organiser of the event and Judo Australia will not be responsible for any insurance related to the above-mentioned matters.
RegistrationsOnly entries of IJF member national judo federations will be accepted. Cadets are allowed to enter intoJunior Men and Women divisions in addition to their own division. Cadets, Junior Men and Junior Women are allowed to enter into Senior Men and Women divisions in addition to their own division.

AccreditationThe control of entries and issuing of accreditation cards will take place during accreditation (see program for time and location).
Athletes must be able to provide identification, including proof of age during accreditation.
An accreditation card with photograph will be issued to athletes, officials and media. At all times, this accreditation card must be worn throughout the event.
Competition Rules & DrawThe competition and draw will be conducted in accordance with the Judo Australia Sporting Code.
CoachingAll coaches are expected to adhere to the Australian Coaching Code of Behaviour.
Awarding CeremonyThe competitors wearing their white Judogi (no shoes, flip flops or socks) will stand behind the podiumaccording to the following order 2,1,3,3. Competitors having won a medal must attend the ceremony toreceive their medal in person. If a competitor is absent during the awarding ceremony for no valid reason they will lose the right to have the medal. It is strictly forbidden for competitors on the podium to bring national flags or the similar identification other than the one represented in the regular manneron their equipment. Any demonstration of religious, political, personal or commercial sign is prohibited and so is wearing a cap or any other head cover.
RefereesReferees will be appointed by the Judo Australia Refereeing commission.
