Eligibility Must be a current Ohio 4-H club member as of January 1, 2018. Must be at least 14 years of age and cannot have passed your 19 th birthday by January 1, 2018. Since judging at the National Contest exhausts your eligibility for all future 4-H livestock judging contests, it is recommended that team members be 17 or 18 years of age, but any 4-H member meeting the eligibility requirements can try out for the “all-star” team. Cannot have participated in a post-secondary judging contest. Cannot be enrolled or have completed a post-secondary course primarily related to visual livestock and/or carcass evaluation. Must have participated in the Ohio State Fair 4-H Livestock Judging Contest in 2018. Must participate in at least one of two “try-out” workouts at the OSU Barns on September 15 th and/or Septembers 29 th . It is recommended, but not required, to attend both workouts. Purpose: To select a team of Ohio 4-H members to compete at the National 4-H

Livestock Judging Contest in Louisville, KY.

Eligibility • Must be a current Ohio 4-H club member as of January 1, 2018.

• Must be at least 14 years of age and cannot have passed your 19th birthday by January 1, 2018.

Since judging at the National Contest exhausts your eligibility for all future 4-H livestock judging
