NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

In a bid to provide a relaxing and entertaining time to the members of

the JECRC Family other than the students the management announced a

get together as a New Year Celebration. A time away from

students, away from any paper work and away from any kind of stress and deadlines to meet. A time entirely to chill and have fun. The event had fun games like musical chairs, dart, break

the pot, snakes and ladders, kite flying, tug of war etc. Mouth watering

breakfast and lunch also was provided by the management. The mind behind

the event was Mukesh Agarwal Sir (Spiritual Cell).

2nd semester Edition

JECRC HACKATHON 4.0Jecrc foundation recently organized a 24 hour long coding event ‘’JECRC hackathon 4.0- preliminary round for Smart India Hackathon 2020’’. It was a platform bestowed to all the Jecrcians, where they showcased their hard-earned skills in software and hardware technology. A large num-ber of students participated with full zeal and zest. Students were divided into teams of 5-6 members. The two-day event commenced on 17th Jan-uary 2020 with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by esteemed dignitaries. The students came up with many innovative technical solutions to real world problems.

This event gave an opportunity and competitive atmosphere to numerous young minds to find the best solution to the problem statements provided by various government bodies from

throughout the country. Afterwards, a session was organized where the judges

interacted with the participants. Out of 90 teams, 28 teams qualified for the

next round. Since it was a long session for relaxation purpose, midnight

recreational activities were organized which included bonfire, dance and

various mind games. In the judgement round, the teams expressed their ideas through the PPT along with the best solution. Three teams were judged as the best and cash prizes were given

to them. Along with these, four other teams qualified for the final Smart

India Hackathon 2020.

The event witnessed many experienced mentors and judges who motivated the students to continue innovating in the field of technology.

ZUMBA SESSION and

MARATHONTo promote the idea of clean and healthy Jaipur and to add fun to fit-ness, Jecrc foundation organized zumba session which was hosted by RJ Anirudh and Mr. Shahrukh from fusion dance group on 21st January. The main aim of the session was to motivate the students to take part in one of the most prominent marathons of the country- AU jaipur Marathon which was partnered by Jecrc foun-dation. Along with the zumba session many other fun activities were also carried out in the event to mark theimportance of physical fitness in our life and to reduce stress and depression.

Students actively participated in the event. Now a days, people are suffering from large number of diseases and health problems These issues are self-caused. We have to focus on our wellbeing and our wellness to stay away from diseases. That’s why physical fitness plays a singnificant role.

CPRA CPR workshop was organised on 21st January 2020 by team SOCH in association with Apex Hospital, to edify the method of Cardiopulmo-nary Resuscitation and to adept peo-ple in deterring deaths from heart incarceration. The event began with the speakers enlightening the objectives of the workshop followed by the felicitation of guests Dr Shailesh Jhawar (Director Senior Consul-tant -Critical Care at Apex Hospitals, Jaipur) and his team. Dr. Jhawar reflected his profound knowl-edge of CPR and gave an exalted demonstration on how to execute the CPR by analyzing the casualty’s condition. His team demonstrated the process on a dummy and listed the key steps to look before and after a CPR.

After the workshop, spirited participants imitated the steps on the dummy, as a part of the training in C-block.The edifying seminar culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. A.S. Shekhawat, faculty coordinator, Team Soch. This great initiative to teach novices, especial-ly the youth, would be extremely beneficial in savings one's life. CPR Workshop is planned to be conducted every year by Team Soch in order to raise aware-ness among the students.

NATIONAL GIRLS DAY

The smiling face of every little girl is the signature of God’s presence. With this motto, Suhasini, the prestigious social club of our college, celebrated it’s fifth foundation day on the occasion of Na-tional Girl Day which was observed nationwide on 24th January 2020. Little girls from Haldighati School, Shree Ram Ki Nangal were invited to add pints of joyous laughter to the event. Manav Seva Trust was also a significant part of the event. The girls gave dance performances that lit up the atmosphere of the auditorium.

Esteemed dignitaries included Dr.KamaliniDravid (Program

Director, WCD), Prof.Dr. V.K. Chand-na (Principal, JECRC Founda-tion), Mr. O.P. Jain(Senior Advisor), Mr. Anil Jha (Principal, Badi Ka Bas School), and Mrs. Shweta Chaudhary (PET- Shri Ram Ki Nangal School) who enlightened theaudiences on Women Empowerment and Equality. A super interactive Astronomy Presen-tation was presented to the kids by Mr. Harshul Gupta. Tickling Tales enacted

a fun puppet show.The event came to a successful end with the memento presentation. In our society, girls still face hardcore hurdles, which hinder their potential to accom-

plish goals.

These have a wide range from abuse, physical and sexual violence, exploita-tion to child marriage and various forms of discrimination and inequali-ty that can be observed in our society. The event marked the importance of girl child in our community and left a bold imprint on the minds of the au-dience with the concept of ‘Saving Girl Child rather than Slaving them!’

WORLD CANCER DAY

On occasion of World cancer day the Department of applied science of our college organized an awareness talk on 30th January 2020 to raise the aware-ness of cancer and to encourage its pre-vention, detection and treatment. It was coordinated by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer hospital and Research Centre. The talk was delivered by Dr. Prashant Sharma, cancer specialist, department of Surgical Oncology, BMCHRC. It was conducted in college auditorium and many students and faculties at-tended this session. The main aim of this session is to work together to make this disease a global health priority

and educate people on how to fight can-cer through early detection, through healthy eating and physical activity and by quitting smoking.The theme of the lecture was “Together we will win” which means to unite everyone to raise awareness about cancer. Overall the event was very informative and ended successfully.

The event started with floral Welcome of Dr. Prashant Sharma by Prof. A.S. Shekhawat. Around 250 students and Faculty members attended the pro-gram and got benefitted from the talk.Ms. Neelu Jain Concluded the talk by a vote of thanks to the team of BM-CHRC.

VOTERS DAY

The 10th ‘National Voters’ Day’ ceremony was celebrated across the state with great pomp and show on January 25 this year.Students and faculty mem-bers from JECRC Founda-tion attended the celebrations.The state level function was held on Sat-urday at 10.30 am in the Bhagwat Singh Mehta Auditorium of the Rajasthan State Public Administration Institute.Chief Electoral Officer Anand Ku-mar said that this year’s theme ‘Elec-tion Literacy-Strong Democracy’ has been laid by the Commission. State Governor Kalraj Mishra was the Chief Guest at the ceremony. The Governor inaugurated the function.

The function also honoured the officers and employees who have contributed immensely.The Chief Electoral Officer said that, District Election Officers will orga-nize district level function at each dis-trict headquarters and distribute voter photo identity cards to newly regis-tered voters. At every polling station in all the assembly constituencies of the state, the BLO administered the oath to the voters by organizing a program on the occasion of National Voters’ Day.

Online ClassesAs we all know, the COVID -19 pan-demic has disrupted routine lifestyle across the globe, the virtual world has come to the rescue. In the wake of COVID outbreak, JECRC College also shifted it’s base to virtual platforms to conduct the college lectures online and spread a sense of optimism amongst the faculty and the students in the dif-ficult times.Making sure to follow the protocols and keeping in mind the quality of the curriculum, the online lectures have been sophisticatedly fabricated to deliver top-notch and easily com-prehensible study material to the bud-ding engineers. We hope the COVID will retreat back soon enough so that hands-on experience and practical ed-ucation may again be imparted to the students.
