DESIGN AND BUILD CAPACITY


The core business of Reem Emirates Aluminum is the design and manufacture of

custom-made, unitized curtain wall panels.

The aluminum curtain wall factory can produce more than 50,000m2 of curtain wall

panels each month. From concept design to installation, each stage of the process

is supervised by specialists to provide unique integrated technology solutions for

architects, engineers and developers.

Active Curtain Wall Certified Technology

The components of the integrated technology and the entire system comply with the

highest comfort criteria referring to a ‘Category A’ building defined in the ISO 7730

and ASHRAE 55-2004 Standards. The technology offers Return On Investment (ROI)

within 3-4 Years.

Alternative to Conventional Solutions

Reem Emirates Aluminum’s innovative building solutions consist of a double skin façade

integrated with building HVAC System, floor cooling system, active chilled beams,

daylight tracking blinds interfaced with LED lighting systems and Building Management

System (BMS).

Towers 1, 2 and 3 of Etihad Towers soar high above the Abu Dhabi Corniche. With a combined total height of 900m they rise majestically from their beachside setting. Sculptural form and spectacular design set a new standard for luxury buildings.

Located about 17km from Abu Dhabi city, near the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The Masdar City development is one of the most sustainable cities in the world and is built to the very highest sustainability standards. The materials and technology used in the facade helped reduce energy consumption. Combining state-of-the-art passive and intelligent design to reduce energy demand.

Created from locally sourced green building materials, including recycled aluminum to low-carbon cement the building showcases that sustainable design and development can accommodate denser populations with less resource usage. OUR SPECIALTY

We design unitized panels with principles that have been tried and tested such as drain

joint, pressure equalization and rain screen principles. Also, consideration of the panel’s

seismic capabilities, thermal separation and condensation ability are studied.

All new designs are supervised from the design stage to final installation at the mock-up

chamber.

At the stage of the project’s life that is the most critical, yet the most enjoyable for the

team after months of conceptualizing, designing, debating, sketching all culminating in a

moment of glory when the test passes without any failures. It really is quite a thrill!


The Avenue - Phase 2 is conveniently situated a mere 15 minutes walk from the Dubai Mall metro station. LABORATORY MOCK-UPAND TESTING

Reem Emirates Aluminum validates the design by performing the required tests on a

mock-up sample through third parties that will be witnessed by the client’s representative.

As a façade specialist Reem Emirates Aluminum Technical and Engineering Team provide

assistance to the Client Representative through reviewing project specification for the

testing requirements.

A selected Independent Testing Agency will prepare a Method Statement for the testing

methodology that will be reviewed and approved by the Client Representative. Installation

of the sample elements will be arranged and monitored by Reem Emirates Technical and

Engineering team, Installation team and QA/QC Test Coordinator at an Independent Testing

laboratory.

The Independent Testing Agency carries out the testing according to the approved Method

Statement and internationally recognized standards. The test results are recorded and the

reports are prepared by the Independent Testing Agency.


FIELDTESTING

REEM DIVISIONS

Reem Emirates Glass (REG) was set up in May 2009, and is one of the largest glass processors

in Abu Dhabi, producing heat treated, double-glazed/insulated and laminated glass. REG has a

production capacity extending from 12,000m2 per month for laminated glass to 48,000m2 per

month for glass cutting.

Reem Emirates Metals (REM) was formed to service the growth in demand for architectural

finishes and metal works in the Gulf Region, North Africa and Europe, and now boast being one

of the top 3 global leaders with state of the art facilities and production lines. Reem Emirates

Metal (REM) was set up in February 2009 and has a production capacity of 3,600 tons per annum,

creating stainless steel architectural metal products to complement Reem Emirates Aluminum

(REA)’s core business.

Reem Emirates Cladding (REC) is a subsidiary of Reem Emirates Aluminum, was established over

a 4,000m2 area to complement the operations of Reem Emirates Aluminum (REA). The facility

is a fully equipped cladding fabrication factory in the industrial city of Abu Dhabi with technically

advanced CNC machines , vertical ¾ saws, roll bending machines and all other ancillary machinery

required for fabrication of composite panels. REC has the capacity to undertake aluminum

cladding projects of any magnitude and complexity supported by an experienced technical team

of architects, engineers, supervisors and skilled workers. REC executes the cladding works to

international standards by giving the utmost importance to quality and unparalleled workmanship.

Reem Emirates Aluminum (REA) has won four prestigious projects for a variety of large

development houses in Abu Dhabi, worth AED 400 million, due to the support of its subsidiary and

complementary business units. These include: The Corporate Tower on Reem Island, The Gateway

by Sorouh, Marina Club C1 and C12 by Tamouh and Al Salam Avenue by Dopa. REA has also been

awarded a prestigious project in Qatar – Barwa Commercial Avenue by Barwa Development.
