The practice range will close two hours prior to dusk on Wednesday evenings to prepare for scheduled

maintenance on Thursday.

Club Management reserves the right to modify the nightly closing time of the practice facilities based on

business volume and/or weather conditions. The practice range may be subject to closing at any time.

Tee times may be booked 14 days in advance by calling the Garrisons Lake at 302-659-1206.

For same-day tee time bookings, please call the Garrisons Lake directly at 302-659-1206.

If necessary, all starting times may be altered at the discretion of the Garrison Lake staff.

Fivesomes are not permitted at Garrisons Lake Golf Club.

Cancellation Policy

For tee time modifications or cancellations please call Garrisons Lake at 302-659-1206 no later than 24 hours

prior to the scheduled start time. Should a group short-show or no-show for the reserved tee time, the Club

reserves the right to charge your credit card applicable no show fees for the missing player(s). If you need

further assistance scheduling a tee time, please call Garrisons Lake to report any potential difficulties at your

earliest opportunity.

Weather

In the event of inclement weather, please call Garrisons Lake at 302-659-1206 to see if the course is closed. If

the course is open, you can count on your tee time remaining in effect.

Dress Code Policy

Passholders, guests and all public play at Garrisons Lake Golf Club are required to observe good taste and dress

appropriately for the golf course. Items of clothing such as short shorts (shorts must be hemmed to a length

just above the knee), tank tops, and other items deemed so by the Garrisons Lake staff are considered

inappropriate. Garrisons Lake Golf Club is a non-metal spike facility.

Tournament Information

The 2019 Garrisons Lake Golf Club event schedule will reflect the diversity of interests and ability levels of its passholders. The Tournament program consists of an assortment of golf events, which are comprised of traditional and recreational formats. Guest passes that are provided to Annual Golf Passholders are not available to be used for events. Thank you for your understanding!

Tournament Registration & Cancellation Policy

The full entry fee must be paid at the time of event registration. Any golfer registered to play in a club

tournament will be responsible for the individual entry fee should he/she fail to cancel more than 24 hours

before the event begins. Golfers will not be refunded for any portion of the entry fee should he/she elect not

to finish or withdraw from any event in progress. Some special events will have a specific cancellation policy

which will be longer than a 24 hour period. Any such events will have the specific cancellation policy stated

clearly on the registration sign-up or invitation.

Event Eligibility

All passholders and designees with a U.S.G.A. approved handicap may participate in Club tournaments. All

players eligible for prizes must have an approved U.S.G.A. handicap. The professional staff may review/adjust

all handicaps submitted for tournament play. In order for a player to participate in a tournament, the

Professional staff may require a minimum number of recent local scores posted, or in lieu of this, may adjust

the player’s Handicap per the USGA Handicap System Manual. Note: Some event formats in the schedule will

not require the use of a handicap.

Handicaps

Handicaps are computed under the supervision of the Golf Shop personnel in accordance with the current

U.S.G.A. handicap system. The current DSGA handicap revision at the time of the entry deadline will be used

for most tournaments. Unless otherwise directed by Golf Shop personnel, passholders and designees must

enter their scores in the DSGA handicap computer located in the club house after each round of golf.

Passholders must maintain their handicaps per the posted USGA regulations on the automated DSGA system

provided. Entering scores for the 2019 season will be available beginning April 1, 2019.

Failure to post a score may result in the Golf Shop posting a score equal to the lowest score of the passholder’s last twenty rounds. The Golf Shop personnel will determine if there are violations by passholders in turning in their scores and has the authority to adjust handicaps. The Professional staff may adjust any player’s handicap in accordance with Section 8 of the USGA Handicap System Manual.

Use of Tees for Tournament Play

The Professional Staff will announce or post on the rules of play which teeing ground is to be played. Most event tees will be played as follows: Men=White Ladies=Green. Note: Men 62 years of older may play from the Orange Tee if they normally play from that set of tees. Note: Special consideration of either temporary or permanent access to the Orange tee will be addressed on a case by case basis. Final approval of special status will be granted by the General Manager only. Players competing in Garrisons Lake Golf Club events from different tees or men and women competing from the same tees will be subject to the recommended handicap adjustment as stated in the USGA handicap manual.

Garrisons Lake Ladies Golf Association

Dates: Thursdays- April-October

Eligibility: Passholders, and Public Access

Cost: Garrisons Passholder league rate= $0 per event round.

Non-Passholder/Public=A daily league play rate of $21 per nine holes and $29

per 18 holes. Annual Handicap required in the Garrisons Lake Handicap

System= One-time $30 fee for Non-Passholders/Guests.

Field: All lady golfers are welcome .

Garrisons Lake 9-Hole Men’s Golf League-2019

Eligibility: Passholders, and Public Access

Information: Sign up for the 2019 Men's League is open to Garrisons Lake Passholders and

General Public starting February 1st 2019. Teams will be filled based on a first

come first serve basis.

The 2019 Men’s League starts in May with play on Thursday Nights at 5:30pm

Cost: Garrisons Lake Passholder league rate= $0 per event round plus $5 prize pool.

Non-Passholder/Public=A daily league play rate of $25 greens fee per event

round plus $5 prize pool. Annual Handicap required in the Garrisons Lake

Handicap System one time $30 fee for Non-Passholders/Guests.

The one time League fee is $30 for all public players which includes an annual

handicap service. The weekly league green fee/cart fee is $25 for public players,

$20 for Rewards Program participants and $0 for Garrisons Lake Annual Golf

Passholders. There is an additional $5 fee each week to create a prize fund.

Note: The weekly $5 prize fee is used to create a prize fund. $3 of the $5 is used

for a weekly payout to the winning teams and $2 of the $5 is used for the end of

season prize payout to the overall winning teams. All prizes are distributed in

Gift Certificates/Credit at the end of season award presentation during the final

play day & cook out.

Opening Day Registration and Open Play will take place on April 25th followed

by 12 regular season dates and 4 Playoff dates giving the potential for 17 weeks

of play less any rainouts. RAINOUTS WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED OR

MADE UP. (Except during the playoffs). The league is made up of two person

teams. Every attempt will be made to pair single players together to form a team

if needed. The start time is 5:30pm each evening with a shotgun start. All teams

must confirm weekly play status by Wednesday at noon.

Format: The format for each league night is a "Net" Stableford Better Ball Partners.

Each two-person team will earn points on each hole based on their best "Net"

score. At the completion of play each night we will score the league based on

how many total points you made against the field. 1st through 16th place each

week will be given a designated point value that will be totaled throughout the

season. Each night you participate and do not finish in the top 16, your team

will receive and automatic 5 points. At the end of the regular season the top 16

teams will participate in the Playoffs in a Match Play format - single elimination.

If your team does not qualify for the Playoffs you are still welcome to come out

and play on your respective league night.

It is the responsibility of each League Member to establish a USGA Handicap

which is included with your $30 handicap fee. Members that do not established

a handicap prior to League play will compete as a "scratch" golfer until a

legitimate handicap is acquired. NO EXCEPTIONS

Alternates: Alternates are permitted to play in the place of a missing teammate during the

"regular season". Alternates are not allowed to participate in the season end

Match Play Event. The greens fee is $25 to be paid in the Golf Shop plus the

$5 weekly prize fund. Alternates will play as a "scratch" golfer unless they have

an established handicap at Garrisons Lake Golf Club or through the DSGA.

NO EXCEPTIONS

Playoffs Match Play: Teams that qualify for the Match Play must play with the original team

members. The Match Play will be played as a "Net" Better Ball of Partners

Match Play.

ADULT/CHILD Golf League JUNE-AUG

Dates: Week of June 11th Through August 12th (Bye week of July 4th) 8 total play weeks (Pizza party and

awards ceremony at the end of the season).

Eligibility: Public Access-Junior Golfers 5 years of age or older and an Adult (Adults can be parents,

guardians, grandparents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, neighbors, etc).

Information: The 2019 Adult/Child League is open to the General Public. Teams will be filled on a first come

first serve basis. End of League Pizza Party & Awards Ceremony League Play Day is Saturday with tee times

starting at 4:30p.m. If you are unable to play during the league play day you can also play any day of the week–

convenient for you and your family. League round scores have to be turned in by the end of business on

Wednesday of each week for the league score to count for the weekly prizes.

Cost: Team League Entry Fee: $25 per team (One time fee) Weekly League Golf Fee is $25 per team Includes

nine holes of golf and the cart for both the child and the adult players. Note: Drivers license required to operate

golf cart. Full Season Special Price of $200 per team (Save $25) Pre-Pay the entire league in advance and save!

Format: 9 Hole Alternate Shot Format by Age Bracket Each two-person team will earn points based on the

alternate shot score posted each week. At the completion of play each week we will score the league based on

how many total points your team made against the field. 1st through 16th place each week will be given a

designated point value that will be totaled throughout the season. Each week that your team participates and

does not finish in the top 16 your team will receive and automatic 5 points. At the end of the season the totals

will determine the winners in each age division. At the end of the season we will host a pizza party and awards

presentation.

Field will be set and cannot be added to after May 25th. Garrisons Lake will communicate the field to the Passholders on May 31st. It is solely the responsibility of the participants of each individual match to schedule and complete matches on or before the round deadline. Matches not played by the round deadline will be determined by a coin toss (no exceptions). Schedule will

be adjusted if needed based on participation levels. .

Format: The current USGA handicap that is in effect at the time of the match being played will be used. All matches will be played at 80% of full course handicap (stroke off low ball). Any set of tees may be used during the match play competition, but must be agreed upon by both parties prior to the start of the match. A handicap adjustment may be applied by the Pro Shop staff in matches conducted from differing sets of tees.

Field: Limited to the first persons registered and paid to fill the bracket

Par 3- Hole-In-One Challenge

Date: Saturday 6/15/19

Format: Are you are feeling lucky? Play in the Par 3/Hole-In-One Challenge. This

format uses a modified course set up in which every hole on the golf course is

set up as a par 3. The holes will vary in length and difficulty. Par for the event

is a score of 54. In addition, ALL of the Par 3 holes will be set up as a chance

to win prizes for any player that makes a hole in one during the event.

Eligibility: Passholders, Guests of Passholders, and Public Access

Cost: 7 Day- $20 per person 5 Day- $20 per person plus $15 greens fee

Non-Passholder/Guest/Public Access -$45 per person

Garrisons Lake Folds of Honor Golf Classic 4 Person Team Scramble

Date: Saturday 8/31/2019

General: This is a fund raising event to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation.

Folds of Honor is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to

empower deserving military families with educational support and

opportunities. FHF provides post-secondary educational scholarships to the

spouses and children of service members disabled or killed as a result of their

military service to our great nation. Unique scholarships can be applied to

schooling now or held by Folds of Honor on behalf of young children until

needed at the time of enrollment. For more information about FHF

Military and Veterans' Facts: Today's servicemen and women bear the

incredible burden of combat and face the same economic strain faced by the

rest of the country. Folds of Honor recognizes the federal government's work

to support its military service families, but it cannot succeed alone without

Garrisons Lake Folds of Honor Golf Classic (Cont.)

Format: 4 Person Team Scramble. In a scramble, ALL players tee off on each hole. The

better of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from

that spot. The best result of the second shots is determined, than all golfers play

their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.

Eligibility: Passholders, Guests of Passholders, and Public Access

Cost: 7 Day & 5 Day Annual Passholder- $20 per person

Public/Guest-$55 per person

Garrisons Lake Team Championship

Date: Saturday 9/28/19

Format: 27 hole Modified Ryder Cup Format-

All games are played under Match Play rules, where the result of each game is

determined by the number of holes won. The order of play for the first nine

holes of play is Fourball and Foursomes during the 2nd nine holes. The final

nine holes of play will be in Singles format.

FOURBALL

"Fourball" play is a match in which each member of the two-man teams plays

their own ball. Fourballs are in play per hole with each of the four players

competing. The team whose player has the lowest score on that hole wins the

hole. Should players from each team tie for the best score, the hole is halved.

FOURSOMES

"Foursomes" play is a match where two golfers play together against two other

golfers and each team plays one ball. The golfers play alternate shots (player A

hits tee shot, player B hits second shot, etc) until the hole is played out. Team

members alternate playing the tee shots, with one golfer hitting the tee shot on

odd-numbered holes, and the other hitting the tee shot on the even-numbered

holes. The team with the better score wins the hole. Should the two teams tie

for best score, the hole is halved.

SINGLES

"Singles" is a match in which one player competes against another player. A

player wins the match when he is up by more holes than there are holes

remaining to play.

PAIRINGS

Each Team Captain independently submits the order of play for his Team to

the appointed tournament official. The lists from each Captain are matched,

resulting in the "Pairings". Please note that the players in pairings can be

modified by the Team Captains only if a player is ill or injured. Pairings are

subject to change and should not be considered final until play begins for a

particular match.

Team Championship (Cont.)

Cost: 7 Day Annual Passholder- $25 per person includes: Pizza & Soda after play.

Entry Deadline: Friday 9/26/19

Note: this format will require even teams. Preference will be granted to those

passholders with the highest frequency of participation in club golf events. A

waiting list will be kept for all interested passholders beyond 24 players. Teams

will be drawn by the Captains.

Scoring: Modified Ryder Cup

The Forewinds Cup Challenge Matches 2019 Hosted by Garrisons Lake Golf Club

Date: Saturday 10/5/19

Format: The Forewinds Cup is an event during which the Passholders representing

Deerfield challenge the Passholders of Garrisons Lake in a match play format.

Garrisons Lake will be hosting the event for 2019.

Eligibility: Open to Passholders only.

Tournament Entry Fee: Qualified participants are invited guests of the host course.

Field: In order to make the team from each course Passholder’s must qualify based

on their performance in The Club Championship. The team will comprise of 12

Garrisons Lake Passholders (10 men and 2 women).

Schedule of Events: Tee times starting at 12:30pm
