The world has seen significant change over the last few years. But our commitment to the wheelchair users pictured here, and thousands of others, has not changed since our founding in 1991.

Bodypoint® remains focused on designing and manufacturing the best postural support products and wheelchair accessories for every wheelchair user. To accomplish that, we continually improve current products and launch new ones. Here are just a few of our recent innovations:

• With the new MD Series PivotFit™, Stayflex™, and Trimline harnesses (p. 13-14), you no longer have to choose in advance between front-pull and rear-pull. As of July 2019, the same harnesses you know and love now come with multi-directional (MD) pull straps that work in either direction. Easily set up and change pull styles on the spot to meet individual user needs. Enjoy simplified ordering and fewer compromises at fitting time.

• Shoulder Harness Strap Guides (p. 19), introduced in January 2019, optimize positioning and comfort of chest and shoulder har-nesses, and expand options for using harnesses on low or contoured backs. You will find them easy to install and adjust, with or without the optional Mounting Adapters.

• The Grooved Mushroom Joystick Handle (p. 17) — with its rounded top, hand-filling shape, grooved texture, compact height, and flexible shaft — combines the best features of several older joystick models into one, and is easily cut down to different heights.

• Seat Mounting Brackets (p. 18) are now even more versatile with a new 20° angle bracket for side-mounting as well as a redesigned 90° bracket for top-mounting. These are the ideal option for chairs with sling seat upholstery or a solid seat base.

• The Chest Belt (p. 15) was redesigned with a more comfortable low-profile end tab and upgraded strong, smooth hook-and-loop material that won’t trap dirt.

• Users are loving the redesigned Ankle Huggers® (p. 12). The low-profile ErgoLatch™ buckle plus easy hook-and-loop adjustment gives users the right fit every time, while new pad material increases both stability and comfort. In early 2019, we extended the length of the buckle tongue for easier insertion.

• Our new clip-on Shower Chair Calf Support (p. 11) features the same soft, porous Aeromesh® as our bath belts, and is ideal for shower chairs that tilt.

Sizing guideHow to Measure for a Padded Hip Belt

1. Determine the most effective position and angle for the belt.

2. With a flexible tape, measure the distance over the body. This corresponds to the belt’s padded length (B).

3. Select the belt size. Center-Pull and Dual-Pull Hip Belts
