TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CENTENARY PLATE • Those players who fail to make the cut either after Day 1 or Day 2 of The Championship may elect to use their championship scores to join the Centenary Plate on Day 2 or Day 3. Players who make the cut for the Championship cannot opt to play in the Centenary Plate. • Played as a medal round over three days applying the player’s Full handicap allowance. • The winner will be the player with the best net aggregate score over the three days. • In the event of a tie, the procedure under 2.2.09 will come into effect. • The Centenary Plate is NOT Qualifying for Order of Merit Purposes. • A club trophy is available. • Sponsored by IIG • Prizes: Winner and Runner-Up.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP • Played over three consecutive days (usually Friday, Saturday and Sunday) the Championship is the last of the Major Competitions played in the season. It is normally played in May/June. • 3-day aggregate medal played off scratch. • On Day 1 all players will play off the first tee. • Players will be seeded according to their Division. • A random draw will be applied for players within each Division. • The best 27 gross scores + ties, from the players available to play on Day 2 at the time when the Day 2 draw is announced, will qualify to play on Day 2 of the Championship. • The best 20 gross aggregate scores + ties from Day 1 and 2, from the players available to play on Day 3 at the time when the Day 3 draw is announced, will qualify to play on Day 3 of the Championship. • On Days 2 & 3, the players with the best scores will play off the first tee in reverse order i.e. the players with the best scores will go out last. • The winner of the Championship will be the player with the best gross aggregate score over the three days. • In the event of a tie, the result shall be decided by a play-off over three holes see 2.2.10. • A club trophy is available. • Sponsored by IIG with Prizes for Winner, Runner-Up and Third Place.
