Students can continue making selections for the final months of their school year. July 10, 2020 is the deadline for students to have indicated the institutions who they want to receive their transcript in the July distribution. Students should be sure to include out of province and international institutions so their transcripts are sent to institutions in late July. 2020 PSI selections can be make at: studenttranscripts.gov.bc.ca Our Counsellors and Career Advisors are available to assist students with any questions they may have about the Student Transcript Service.

Application deadlines for all CapU Programs are approaching; please refer to individual program pages for the deadlines here. The Entrance Awards Deadline is also approaching. Students need to apply by March 1. Entrance awards range from $500 to over $50,000. Students can apply using the steps found here. Students can only self-report their grades once. Therefore, we encourage all WGSS students to wait until they have their second term marks on March 6. All self-reported grades are subject to verification when the university accesses the marks from the Ministry of Education.

If you are doing a distributed learning (e.g. online or night school class) you must have already completed 50% or more of the course assignments/tests to self-report the course grade. The course must be finished no later than May 31 and the final grade submitted by your distance-learning provider to the Ministry of Education by the end of June for inclusion on your official transcript. Thompson River University Admission to the Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering at TRU is open for Fall 2020 and seats are limited. Software engineering is one of the most in-demand and fastest growing professions. The Engineering and Applied Science Department wants to ensure students at different academic levels have an opportunity to explore the Software Engineering industry, which is one reason they have an admission grade requirement of only 67% or higher. This is just one of the many advantages of applying to the Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering at TRU. If students want to take advantage of the lower academic requirements they must apply right away because TRU is processing applications and making admission decisions as they are received. High School Admission Requirements 1. BC Grade 12 Graduation 2. BC English 12/English 12 First Peoples with a
minimum of 67% (or equivalent). 3. Pre-Calculus 12 with a minimum of 67% (or
equivalent). 4. Physics 12 with a minimum of 67% (or
equivalent). 5. Chemistry 12 with a minimum of 67% (or

March 1, 2020 is the deadline to apply, however, space permitting applications may be accepted after this date, but for students to take advantage of the lower academic requirements they must apply APPLY NOW

In addition to offers of admission, there will be some refusals issued in this round, primarily to students who are not competitive applicants for the program to which they applied.
