SPEAKERS
Mike Lang is a Senior Fluor Fellow in Self Perform Construction and Welding. Also, Global Director of Corporate Welding Services with Fluor Construction based in Houston Texas.
He provides global welding support across all business lines serving the home offices, projects, and fabrication facilities. His background as a Project Manager/ Superintendent, Educator, AWS/CWI/CWE, and 30+ years United Association Pipefitter/Welder gives him solid
ground-up experience. His advice and implementation of more efficient welding processes such as semi-automatic and orbital welding have consistently delivers increased safety, quality, and value.
He also has over 25 years of industry standards committee involvement with AWS D10 (Chairman), D18, and the AWS Technical Activities Committee (TAC). He is also involved with The Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) as a task group leader developing a position paper on subcontractor quality control for welding, and active in the ASME BPVC Committee Sections II, III, VIII, and IX. He has been published on several occasions on topics from these committees and a principal or contributing author to many industry publications.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. Chris Kuehl is a Managing Director of Armada Corporate Intelligence. He provides forecasts and strategic guidance for a wide variety of corporate clients around the world. He is the chief economist for several national and international organizations – Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, National Association of Credit Management, Finance, Credit and International Business and the Business Information Industry
Association. He is also the economic analyst for several state accounting societies – Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Kansas.
Prior to starting Armada in 1999 he was a professor of economics and finance for 15 years – teaching in the US, Hungary, Russia, Estonia, Singapore and Taiwan. He holds advanced degrees in economics, Soviet studies and East Asian studies.
Chris is the author of Business Intelligence Briefs and Executive Intelligence Briefs - both publications from Armada. He is also responsible for the Credit Manager’s Index from NACM and Fabrinomics from the FMA.

Jenny Levy is Vice President, People, Community & Environment at Hypertherm, Inc. in Hanover, NH, where she has worked for 15 years in various roles. Jenny focuses on Hypertherm’s human resources, talent, and corporate social responsibility strategies. Her most notable work in these areas has included setting their 2010 to 2020 environmental stewardship goals and related transformation approaches, expanding their paid global community service time
benefit to 32 hours annually, defining their SHAPE for STEM middle school program, sponsoring their Recovery-friendly workplace practices, establishing financial instability workplace resource support, and sponsoring their Inclusion and Diversity strategies. Hypertherm designs and manufactures industrial cutting products. Its product line includes cutting systems, in addition to CNC motion and height controls, CAM nesting software, robotic software and consumables. The 100 percent Associate owned company, consistently named a best place to work, has more than 1,800 Associates along with operations and partner representation worldwide.
Richard (Dick) Marini has been president of Praxair Distribution Inc. (A Linde Company) since 2016. A graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, Dick joined Praxair, then called the Linde Division of Union Carbide in 1981. In his 38 year career in the packaged gas and welding supply business, Dick has held positions in operations, sales and product management in both Canada and the US. While he is headquartered in Danbury Connecticut he
maintains a home in Canada.
Praxair Distribution Inc is Praxair’s cylinder gas distribution channel in the US. Praxair Distribution sells industrial, medical and specialty gases as well as welding supplies and equipment.
Justin Morse is currently the Director of Field Technical Service for Kiewit Corporation based in Omaha, Nebraska. This group oversees all welding, heat treat and in-house NDE operations for all Kiewit projects with their primary focus on power and OGC projects. Prior to his most current role Justin served as the District Welding Manager for Kiewit Power Constructors division which focuses on combine cycle power plant construction. Just began his career with Ganotec
Inc. (a Kiewit subsidiary) based in Montreal, QC working as a QC supervisor and welding superintendent on various projects. subsidiary of Kiewit Corp). Justin is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Kiewit is a Fortune 500 engineering and construction company with projects located all over North America.
