ON BEHALF OF the Johns Hopkins
Community Science Education Program
we invite members of your fourth, fifth and
sixth grade classes to participate in the Johns
Hopkins annual Community Science Fair at
the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Medical
Campus.
STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE
in the Johns Hopkins Community Science Fair
get a chance to demonstrate their knowledge
of the scientific method while developing so-
cial and presentation skills. Participation in this
event is absolutely FREE! Hopkins covers the
cost of students’ and teachers’ lunch, trans-
portation to and from Hopkins, and provides
poster boards for project submission if nec-
essary. All students receive a participatory
award and each school receives a small stipend
for participating. First, second and third place
winning schools receive a trophy along with a
monetary award for placing at the Fair.
