Lighter, quicker and more compact, the latest WR450F engine is closely based on the new-generation YZ450F motocross unit, and is adapted for enduro with a new cylinder head and piston and is generating increased power and

torque at all speeds. And for a real advantage every time you hit the dirt, the industry-leading Power Tuner app makes it easy to adjust the WR450F’s power characteristics to personalise your engine settings in varying riding conditions.

The advanced new lightweight chassis is also developed from the winning YZ450F, and features a bilateral aluminium beam frame whose rigidity balance is enduro-tuned to give highly agile cornering along with confident straight-line stability. Equipped with class-

leading speed sensitive forks and more powerful braking systems, the new WR450F is born to ride faster, turn easier and stop quicker.

Completely redesigned for 2020, the WR250F gives you the ultimate combination of motocross speed with enduro stamina. Developed from Yamaha’s Grand Prix-winning YZ250F and equipped with all the special enduro features you need to go the full distance – including the Yamaha Power Tuner – the latest WR250F is the complete package.

New lighter and more powerful 450cc engineThe all-new WR450F is equipped with Yamaha’s most sophisticated Off Road Competition engine from latest generation YZ450F motocross model. Significantly lighter and more powerful at all engine speeds, this lightweight and compact new powerplant runs with an enduro-specific ECU to deliver a wide spread of winning performance.

Industry-leading suspension systemsThe industry-leading speed sensitive front forks are the same design as used on the YZ450F and feature special enduro-specific settings and full adjustability – enabling you to fully exploit the increased engine performance. The lightweight link-type rear end also uses special enduro settings to give excellent traction with outstanding bump absorption.

New lighter aluminium frame for sharper handlingThe all-new WR450F is equipped with the latest generation YZ450F aluminium bilateral beam frame that has been retuned for enduro. Manufactured with thinner main spars and thicker bottom tubes – as well as specially developed engine plates – this new frame gives improved feedback over bumps together with an enhanced feeling of connectivity with the track surface.

New cylinder head and piston designThe all-new high compression cylinder head with new piston design is lighter and more compact than ever thanks to the repositioning of the camshafts. Featuring revised intake and exhaust port angles and equipped with lightweight magnesium covers, this new high-efficiency head gives stronger power at all revs and contributes towards the new model’s enhanced mass centralisation.

The all-new WR450F is the fastest and most agile large capacity enduro bike ever produced by Yamaha. Using the highly-advanced engine and chassis technology from the latest YZ450F motocross bike – and equipped with specially-developed enduro settings – this proven winner is born to ride.

Yamaha’s engineers have taken the compact and lightweight engine from the latest YZ450F and developed an all-new powerplant for the new generation WR450F. Featuring a ‘made-to-measure’ ECU as well as an enduro-specific high-compression cylinder head and a specially designed heavy-duty transmission, providing this new enduro bike with full winning performance. While the fine-tuned rigidity balance of the new lighter aluminium beam frame combined with best-in-class suspension and uprated brakes give you increased manoeuvrability and enhanced feeling with the track surface.

Yamaha’s digital Power Tuner and handlebar-mounted engine mode switch put you in total control when surface and weather conditions change – and the compact new instruments give you all the information you need to keep ahead. Finished in a dynamic new Icon Blue, the completely redesigned WR450F is ready for any battle.

High-performance engineThe WR250F is powered by the latest generation engine that has been developed from the race-winning YZ250F unit. Featuring a high compression piston, enduro-specific valve timing and porting – and a 12-hole fuel injector with a front-facing intake – this high-performance engine delivers strong torque throughout the rev range.

Industry-leading suspensionEquipped with large diameter tubes and featuring special enduro valving, the YZ250F-based front forks deliver outstanding speed sensitive performance. And with a lightweight spring and high-capacity reservoir, the rear shock contributes towards the WR250F’s low weight and reaffirms its reputation as one of the best handling enduro bikes.

Smartphone engine tuningUsing Yamaha’s Power Tuner smartphone app you can fine-tune the WR250F via the onboard connectivity. This easy to use system lets you create your own preferred fuel injection and ignition timing settings to suit different track and weather conditions. And you can view and share race logs, engine diagnostics, real-time monitoring and data back-up features.

Sharp-handling aluminium frameWith its enduro-specific rigidity balance, the aluminium bilateral beam frame delivers sharp handling in a wide variety of riding conditions. Fitted with special engine mounting brackets that enhance rider feedback, this strong and light flex-tuned frame gives you outstanding agility with confident stability.

The latest generation WR250F gives you motocross performance with enduro versatility. Its high performance engine is developed straight from Yamaha’s ultra-competitive YZ250F unit, and comes with enduro-specific settings to give you outstanding levels of low to mid-range torque with a hard-hitting top end.
