Assalamualaikum and a very pleasure moment.

Firstly we are very grateful because finally we did finished our

coursework task on the right time given. First of all, we would like to convey our

appreciation to our parents. This is because they had given us a lot of supports

in doing this coursework perfectly.

We would like to thank our dedicated lecturer and also our coordinator

En Anuar Bin Ab. Razak from the bottom of our heart. He have helped us on

how to understand this coursework and make it easier and simple. Without his

help, we does not sure whether we can finished this coursework on time or not.

We also wanted to convey our appreciation to all of our friends for giving

us moral supports and pulling us up each time we fall. They have helps us in

doing this coursework and they also did gave comments on our coursework

Learning basic mathematic had teach us many thing especially in our daily

life including on how to buy something. As a trainee teacher, we are given a lot of

assignments to enhance and cultivate our knowledge in education. We realized that we

must have a set of computer and a printer to do our assignment that have been given

by our lecturers. Here, we are suggested to buy a laptop with the printer through a

personal loan which are available from any local bank. To collect the relevant

information, we must survey any bank that offer the personal loan.

To complete this task, we are required to collect three personal loan scheme

from different bank and find at least five different prices lists and brochures of laptop

with printer from any company. After that, we need make the comparison between the

personal loan schemes that are available and choose the best. We also need to do the

comparison between the prices lists of laptop and the printer.

Hence, we can select the laptop with printer that we want to buy from that

comparison that we have made. Then, we need to plan a monthly budget based on our

allowance provided. Thus, we need to compare all relevant information and prepare a

final report on how to choose the loan. We also must do some reflection that incude the

problems that we faces during the preparation of this task and how to overcome the

problems.

Explanation

As a trainee teacher, we have been given RM 430.00 as our allowance for every month.

In the mean time, we have to buy a laptop and a printer to do our assignments that have

been given from we lecturers. After calculated roughly we personal budget for a month,

we need to spend about RM 275.00 monthly. Thus, we only have RM 155.00 as the

balance from the allowance that we not used for our personal budget. So, it is not

enough for us to afford the laptop and the printer. So, we have to find out and choose

suitable personal loan from any local bank that will gives low interest rate and affordable

for us to make the repayment tenure. Below are the comparisons between three banks

that we have done our research on.

Decision

After made comparisons between three different bank i.e. CIMB Bank, Bank Rakyat

and Maybank, we would like to choose Bank Rakyat for us to make a personal loan

to buy laptop and printer that we are really need to finish up our assignment.

Why we did choose Bank Rakyat as a bank for us to make our personal loan?

We have chosen this bank because it offered lowest interest rate than other two banks.

Bank Rakyat just in charge 4.95% for 2 and 3 years payment. It was the lowest rate

compared to CIMB bank which is 11.2% for 2 years and 16.1% for 3 years. There is a

big difference between these two bank. Also, we just need to pay RM95.70 for monthly

installment to the bank for payment in 3 years. It just takes a small amount from our

allowance for a month, so it doesnt affect our daily budget. This personal loan is eligible

between 18 and 58 years old, so we can made personal loan from this bank. From our

observation, Bank Rakyat provides the lowest loan, which is only RM 3000 that really

fits our need. Compared to the other bank, its lowest loan, are RM 5000 that are too

much for us to buy printer and laptop. Bank Rakyat is the best bank that offered suitable

terms and conditions for us to make a personal loan.

Laptop choosen

After we made a deeply analysis from our research on the comparison of five laptops,

we finally make a decision to choose a laptop from the model Acer Aspire 4810T. Here

are the criteria about the laptop that we had choosen :

Firstly, the promotion price of the laptop is quite reasonable for us. It is not toocheap but not too expensive. So, we can afford that laptop based on the monthly

allowance that we get.

Other than that, this laptop have a memory of 320GB compared to other laptops.

So, we can save many information, knowledges, software, files or assignment in this

laptop because it have big amount of memory compared to other four laptops.

Furthermore, the speed of this laptop is 2GB DDR3 800MHz RAM and the

maximum speed of the laptop is 4GB. So, we can access our programs in the laptops

easier and quicker rather than using other four laptops.

Besides, its weight is only 2 kg. So, we can bring it anywhere we want because it

is not too heavy to carry on. While buying the laptops, we also can get Panasonic

earphone as the free gift.

Lastly, it have many specialities or facilities that will benefit to us such as DVD-

RW SuperMulti Dual Layer Drive, Realtek High Definition Audic, Webcam, Card

Reader, Bluetooth and so on. We can use the DVD-RW SuperMulti Dual Layer Drive to

present our work in the form of movie and we may take many picture of us by using the

webcam. We also can use the webcam for video chatting with our friend and family. The

Bluetooth devices will able us to sharing our photo and video in easier way without

using any USB port. So the laptop that we have choosen will more functionable and

suitable for us to use as a trainee teacher.

Printer choosen

After looking and analyzing the comparison between three printers that we got

from the brochures, finally we decided to choose Canon printer Ip 1980 as the best

choice.

Firstly, we choose that printer because of the price that are very reasonable and

cheapest compared to other two printers that we choose in the brochure. It just cost RM

188.00. We are very sure that we can afford that printer because of the reasonable

price based on our monthly allowance that we get.

Other benefit that we get if we buy that printer is it does have the Easy-Photo

Print EX software. So, we can print the pictures or photos that we include it in our

assignments in a good quality and easy.

Furthermore, this printer have enough high resolution of printing which is

48001200dpi. So, it will print any forms of assignments in a good condition.

Other benefit that we can get is the Canon printer can print speed 21/17ppm

mono compared to other printer. So, this printer that we have choosen is the most

suitable printer for us as a trainee teacher.

General Budget/General Calculation

The price of the laptop and the printer is about :

Laptops price Printers price : RM 2399.00 RM 188.00

: RM 2587.00

Money from the personal loan : RM 3000.00

Balance from the purchase : RM 3000.00 RM2587.00

: RM 413.00

So, based on the general budget or general calculation, the balance money that we will

have after purchasing the laptop and the printer is RM 413.00. The balance money from

the purchasing can we used to buy the printer ink and the balance from the purchasing

of the printer ink will be save as our savings. The printer ink just cost only RM 120 so,

we still have amount of RM 293.00 as our savings.

Self reflection

On my way to finish up the task given, I have faced too many problems. One of

the problems is a miscommunication. Our unit was the last unit that arrived at lecturer

hall to get the briefing about this task. When we arrived, the briefing given was at the

middle. What have I understand at the first, the task need us to find a loan from more

than three banks to buy a laptop and printer, then make a comparisons. So, after the

briefing was mid semester break and I have used free time that I have to go to many

banks to make loan to buy a laptop but theres no bank that offered that service except

Bank Rakyat. After holiday, we still dont get the task paper so we still dont know that

we were miscommunications.

After got the task paper, I realize that I was miscommunication and the task

should be finished in a week. At that time, I still dont have any brochures and

information about personal loan not laptop loan. I take my time in weekdays to search

all about laptop, printer and personal loan. I have cooperated with my partner to search

for it. Luckily my house not too far from this institute so, I got some help from my parent.

I have travelled from Jerteh then to Kota Bharu to search information about laptop and

printer.

After got the information, I have faced some problem to calculating. To overcome

this problem, I asked some help from senior and also from my friends and family

members.

During the process to complete this assignment, I have got many benefits. One

of them are, I am able to do my work by my own so that, I can upgrade my confident

when facing something that really dare. Furthermore, I did this task in pressure

condition because at the same time, theres a lot of task I receive. But, this condition

practice me to control the situation and be systematically in finished work.

Assalamualaikum.

After spending a period of time doing this coursework project, I have

defined a problem that I faced which is about how to make our personal budget

and how to organize our financial. To overcome this problem, I went to the

local banks in the city and there, I got briefly explanation and more information

from the financial officer of the bank. So, I can plan my personal budget wisely

and can make a brightly decision about which bank that can give me low

interest rate from their personal loan provided. From that, I may acknowledge

my mind on how to calculate the interest rate regarding the financial.

Furthermore, I also faced a problem on how to print out my coursework.

This is because we do not have a printer to print out the coursework. So, that is

the most important reason why we must do this assignment on buying a laptop

and a printer. To overcome this problem, I went to my friends room that have a

printer and get a helps of her on printing this coursework.

The limitation of internet connection also give me a big problem. This is

because, it turn me into a hard way on finding some references about laptop

and printer brochure. But, luckily I can overcome this problem by using a

broadband and surved the information using my friends laptop.

Although I have faced many difficulties but I am very thankful because

this coursework had taught me lots about making the best choice in buying or

purchasing something. Other than that, I also can add or plus my mind

information center about personal loan and brochure about laptop and printer.
