Abstract: China. s children literature, which has seen profound changes since 1990s, const itutes a new culturalcoordinate together with traditional, regional, modern and post- modern cultures. Writers of children literature be-
gin to show their national trait, blazing their way out in the collision with modern Western cultures. This coordinate
is not just spatial, but also cultural, radiating from children literature to all aspects in culture. It connects the fee-l
ings of the past , the present and the future, shortening the distance between the reality and ideal of being children.
